*Gel No More* Review of a gel nail polish remover by Mini Mani Moo. Easy and damage free method.

hi it's emily exactly two weeks ago today i did an unboxing and a review of a nail kit that i found on amazon and it was listed at 37.99 it came with all these colors and the lamp i wanted to show you how my nails have held up this is after two weeks of a lot of wear and tear it's been a busy week they still look really good the ends are starting to chip a little bit if i get really close in but i could stand these for a few more days but we're leaving for christmas so i want to take these off and redo my nails today taking the gel nails off is always a big pain but hopefully i found an easy way to do this i saw this advertised on facebook it is called gel no more by minnie manny moo and i found this at sally beauty and it has a tool that you buy separately so you apply this and then wait a few minutes and scrape it a little bit so that's what i want to try today on this video so my first video was doing the nails and reviewing the kit now i want to take these off and the way i've done it before is to soak my nails in a bowl of pure acetone and that just wreaks havoc on your skin it dries you out so bad so and it takes a long time to get the gel off i've also done the foil method where you take a cotton ball put it in the acetone put it on your nail and wrap it in foil and that takes like three or four times in the foil before you can get that gel off so hopefully i found a solution i want to review this today if you remember the files that came with the nail kit were very abrasive very gritty so i opted not to use these on my nail but i think these are just what we need to rough up this gel so i'm going to start with the gritty side of this and just buff up not on my nail at all just on the gel okay that's what my thumb looks like after buffing the gel so it's a really coarse nail file okay two buffed up already i'm kind of sad to take this off because i've really enjoyed it i don't know what color i'll do today the red has been nice [Music] okay four down one to go on my left hand okay there we go i've roughed all the gel up with a gritty file and now i'm going to brush on here are the instructions buff the top layer of the gel apply one thick coat of gel no more wait 30 seconds then reapply a second coat wait three minutes a cold tight sensation is normal oh dear press with a triangular gel pusher tool and that's what this is i got this at sally it's the same brand it's the mini mani moo brand and they call this a pusher tool finish buffing the nail if you have multiple gel or dip layers you need to repeat the process okay so i've buffed the nail i'm going to apply one thick coat oh okay it is cold it is a cold sensation they're not wrong it is freezing cold i don't know if it was because it was in my storage room or if it's because it's freezing this off i don't know maybe it's a chemical reaction one thick coat no more and then wait 30 seconds i get why they put it's a cold tight sensation it does feel like my nails are tightening up a little bit and it's very cold i don't see much happening wait 30 seconds then reapply a second coat okay it's been 30 seconds i'm going to reapply a second coat well guys it's already starting to peel a little bit i've applied a second coat and now i'm going to wait three to four minutes but i can already see it look at this nail can you see that it's already starting to peel so i'm gonna wait another few minutes while i'm waiting i could be buffing this hand i guess okay i would say it's been three minutes so i'm going to take the triangle part of this tool and push actually i might pull okay it is getting some off whoa here comes a big chunk nice wow i don't feel like i'm damaging my nail at all by getting this off but i feel like i'm not close enough to you well after the first scraping that's not terrible let's try this one i feel like this one is peeling a bit more oh wow and i did put two layers of gel so it might take two times of applying this gel remover but so far it's coming off pretty well not like magic but it's not it's not going to take forever i'm being careful not to scrape too hard because if you'll see parts of my nail are already shining through do you see that so the gel is not super thick i just don't i want to be sure not scuff up my nail so i'm not pushing too hard well i can tell you this doesn't work how it worked on the facebook ad it was like one swipe and it was off but i'm not giving up yet oh nice look at this come right off whoa whoa that pinky is just coming off so easily [Laughter] okay i'm not going to force it so this is after one application of the gel [Applause] no more so now we're going to repeat so i'm going to buff again this time not so hard because i've got a lot of my nail exposed now so i'm going to just try to buff up that gel just the gel [Music] not my nail [Music] now i'm going to apply another coat of gel no more one thick coat this time it'll be really easy because half of my nail is already done so just slap it on there my pinky hardly has any left on it okay so i'm going to give this 30 seconds and apply one more coat okay it's been 30 seconds so i'm going to apply one more coat i don't feel any of that tightening anymore it's still cold okay three minutes and then i'll use this tool again it's been three minutes this is round two [Laughter] it's working really well oh we're almost there got it so it took two times okay now let's try this there look at that okay so after two times of applying the gel no more and scraping it's almost off i mean this finger has a little bit on it these two fingers but other than that these are all clean my fingers just need to be washed and i think i could take the soft side of this file and just get some of this off okay i'm going to apply one more coat i don't want to hurt my nail so i might as well just apply one more coat but the other nails look great all the gel is off and i've almost got these all buffed okay i'm going to see if i'm not going to give it another coat i'm just going to there we go that's all that needed was just one more coat there we go i didn't bother with the second coat and then waiting three minutes that's all we needed okay it's all off well this is how my left hand looks i think it did a pretty good job taking it off but it did not come off as easily as i had hoped it would still had to try a little bit but it wasn't as bad as other methods i've tried okay there's both hands it's grading time my gel nails are all removed my nails felt pretty good here's the product i used it's called gel no more so i'm going to give the gel no more a good solid b and here's why it worked but it wasn't that easy it wasn't that hard but it wasn't that easy it was okay i would use it again but it's not like the perfect solution it was okay it took more time than i wanted it to but i feel like my nails are still in good shape so i will give it a b and this tool pretty good i mean i think it's a must-have to use with
