Gateway To The Smokies Exit 407 Shops Sevierville Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee 2020

well hi everybody and today we're here in exit 407 here in well Sevierville kodak and we're gonna take a look at everything off the exit here exit 407 you guys ready ready let's do this [Music] well it's snowing pretty heavily here in the Smokies today but as you can see this is the exit 407 if you continue straight in front of you that will take you all the way into Sevierville Pigeon Forge Gatlinburg and ultimately the Great Smoky Mountains National Park today we are going to explore everything around exit 407 there's a lot to do out here in exit 407 we have hotels eateries moonshine distilling companies we have a Bass Pro Shop we have flea markets and everything you can imagine here at an exit even before you get into the Great Smoky Mountains well here on exit 407 is actually where the Tennessee Smokies play ball they are a double-a affiliate of the Chicago Cubs this is what they call Smokies Stadium we got a cool little gift store and other things in there they play some pretty good ball well they have a Smoky Mountain harley-davidson they got a CBD Wellness Center a beef jerky outlet and also a Chop House they actually have two locations one at Tanger and one out here in 407 we're getting the snow but we're gonna head into outdoor world here in well Kodak Tennessee well technically this area is considered Kodak Tennessee but it can be very confusing because Sevierville actually annexed and a lot of the slant property so it's hard to tell where Sevierville and Kodak ends but you'll hear me refer to this area as Sevierville and also Kodak [Music] [Music] this place here is mass of there's every fishing lure everything you can imagine like this little desk and all these old fishing lures and it's really cool you got some deer you got a moose there in the center I actually came across a moose in Michigan once up in the U P they're actually quite huge they got a little snack area here now there's a looks like there's some trout down there yeah a little-little rainbow trout down there oh wow they have one of those electric bikes what is really [Music] electric bike hey dawn you see that electric bikes yeah there you can do some serious mountain biking with them big old tires on there oh wow it's some weight around $5,000 by the time you pay - yes let's how do you pay tax and all that $5,000 in order to take the elevator to the top floor got its class elevator you can see everything below they're having like a celebrity I guess Fisher Fisher guy down there and I'm gonna call them as a crappie fisherman but I'm pretty cool they got some stuff Grizzlies and everything else a lot of folks ask us what kind of hiking shoot should I get well keen they make a really good hiking boat this one here has kind of got like a rubber like outsole which is really good I'm also Merle you can get some really good hiking shoes from Merle - well I see if they have some of Dawn's friends in here I don't think Don would appreciate that okay Don we're here to do a vlog we're not here to shop she's already spending we're here for the vlog we're not here to buy the whole store they got a shooting gallery here you can actually shoot like pink is that a pink elephant that's a pink elephant but uh yeah they got a why are you climbing that mountain there oh I see the reason why yeah I'd be climbing to look look at his as claws you definitely did not want to get well involved with this guy here so they got all this taxidermy and here this is here's a [ __ ] is uh and Alcor something there oh no they got a honey bear over here we're a little honey bear look at all those fishing lures and amazing I would hate to be the person to have to sort that all out and price it and what have you they have a restaurant here called uncle Buck's grill this is inside uncle Buck's well cafe here got a fireplace down there and looks like a real cozy little place to have lunch well we're here in the hiking section they got all kinds of day packs they're actually reasonably priced for a store like this they have some some camelbacks here and yes a lot of really cool things here I also have of course a little bigger of a pack if you need it Osprey ascend so they have all the you know the name-brand equipment here got some sleeping bags what have you they have air spray here and a lot of folks they want to carry bear spray and it's about $40 but you know we've never had a problem with bear and bears usually do mind their own business it's very unlikely you'll ever need it but for some of them folks out there who they actually got some some bear spray you got a two pack here for $69 dawn I want one of these bug-a-salt where you put salt in there and you can shoot bugs with it no you put salt in there and it shoots salt at it like table salt and you kill you kill flies with it you have salt all of your house and then all your metal and your house to start rusting right can literally spend like days in here looking at everything but we only have a short period of time so what we're gonna do is we're going to take you around the exit 407 area we're gonna head over to the flea market and then we're going to go to Russell Stover's [Music] yeah it's a winter wonderland out here so what'd you guys think about past Pro Shops what do you think Denise would you think she's like it's just a bunch of outdoor stuff okay dawn got shoes hooray for the shoes so across in i-40 heading towards Sevierville Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg the turnoff to go to the flea market is just over here the road is actually called Apple Dumpling Road so as soon as you turn off the exit here especially heading from the Knoxville area you'll want to turn right here on dumpling Valley [Music] and the offseason a lot of these shops are closed there's not much going on outside the during the summer months this place is usually hustling and bustling but what we're gonna do is we're gonna head into the the main building where well it's warm and most of the shops are open little owl dish mats all kinds of that's the you have some serious pasta with that right well you can get your I guess I call these your ripoff Nike tennis shoes and stuff like that and have fun you kind of choose only got your your TRO pads [Music] stand for the flag [Music] Tom what do you got on your head at the unicorn you guys are cute the Batmobile anyways cool little boost here so here so full toys [Music] Cubert and Buck Rogers Wow [Music] look at a little shirt oh you didn't like that dawn oh wow and they jump and they make noise [Music] Pappy have you been playing with the firecrackers again he lost a thumb [Music] but the flea market has got almost anything you need and it's quite big it's definitely a must stop here in the Great Smoky Mountains well we're gonna head into Russell Stouffer candies this is a really cool little store they actually have like candy it's like leftover from like Christmas and what have you and you can get it for like 10 cents on the dollar it's still good also they have a like little ice-cream place in there and you can get like chocolate-covered Russell Stover candies and what have you so we're going to check that out strawberries are here look at these caramel apples Wow [Music] big bite pecan delight these sea salt caramel cream eggs and those are 59 cents - there's three pounds of assorted chocolates for 849 [Music] it's heavy it's a lot of chocolate in there they have a little bit of Christmas left over but $4.99 comes in this really cool little Coco Crisp Christmas pup it's pretty cool what you could do is eat the candy now and then give it away next Christmas as a gift that is really cool they have solid chocolate Santa's for 29 cents I got these little Santa's here and there's 74 cents they got these chocolate-covered pretzels I think they're they're 20 29 cents the a peppermint bark chocolate bars 74 they just got your tronic regular milk chocolate bars for 74 it's a little over leftover Christmas here so dawn and we've gotten this even though it's a few months from Christmas it's still good right we've never had a problem [Music] and on this is Dawn's chocolate fix here right and heparin pit marshmallows our chocolate pecan delights $1 49 they're sugar-free even though that they have like Christmas and New Year's they actually had Easter on there's good deals on that now some of this Easter stuff might had that it had too much caramel or just didn't look right or the packaging maybe like the print on the packaging might have like faded out and you get good deals on this stuff so this is a great place to come to if your valve chocolate fix [Music] this is the back row this is where all the discounted stuff is but up front they have like all really cool just your you know up-to-date Russell Stover type things [Music] Pez they got no chocolate cashew clusters pecan English walnuts those are good too so yeah so dawn did you find look who you got here what do you have yes oh they're good mm-hmm so gonna a hall huh look at the huge heart here the thing is huge you see that these are actually my favorite these little chocolate nests with the three little jellybean eggs in it those are actually pretty pretty good yeah they're they're not a sale are they're $0.99 bud [Music] they got a whole sugar-free section here they even got sugar-free jellybeans go to use that umbrella the other day Russell Stover umbrella so we actually purchased some of the hot chocolate candy there this is the stuff from Christmas no it's good it's fret just as fresh today nothing on you guys there's got great deals here we got all kinds of stuff from the big bag a bagel a big old bad yeah so they got a club in there and if you join it you spend so much they give you free candy and you got assorted fine chocolates this does taste like I mean it's not hot this would be really good he put this on top of a hot chocolate like in the cup the meltdown oh it's marshmallow in in in chocolate it's good we've never had any bad anything from there it's been always awesome so we usually wait like about two weeks after two or three weeks after a holiday so like easter is coming up i'd wait about two three weeks after easter and then go in there cuz all the candy will be there and it's it's awesome you know like I said this is it's good I also got um like chocolate-covered strawberries yeah ice cream it's really cool little store definitely worth the stop well the girls went out shopping and left me here to edit and I got in the video and guess what we didn't do a closing so I'm actually here what I call the losers lounge anyways guys you guys liked this vlog give it a thumbs up also if you haven't subscribed please subscribe to know Missy's upcoming well Smoky Mountain ventures and if you guys any ideals on things you guys want us to do put them in the comments below and until next time everyone thanks for watching good night everyone [Music] [Music]
