so i made it here to ariden arroyo's i drove from the uh eslex south luzon expressway up through um new valley another yala development and they say that montala and alvera is the new valley of the north and we're here at arid narrowed the silang branch we're going to take a look around here at some of the plants that they have and see if we can find anything interesting for our garden so this is inside of arid narrows they have a wonderful set up here they have a live garden that you can go and walk around these fern trees like what we have in our garden but everything just looks a little bit healthier i think they've just got uh well they've got the shade cloth they've really recreated the uh the jungle environment spirit has sanctity on their logo it'll be a while before our spiritus looks like this as it's still just a seedling here's their uh their living wall i think this was only planted recently so this probably still hasn't grown out yet i saw them doing this on their vlog also but this is a plant lovers paradise the caladiums there have all different colors okay this is the entrance to their living gallery live gallery oh my god look at their color [Music] look at that oh yeah isn't that beautiful that's philadelphia yeah very close i don't know you're the one you know what i've got this growing really slowly my uh el choco red it seems to grow really slow i've got two of them and they're both growing slowly one with more light one with less light but they grow really slow our alcohol here is prospering yes it's happy but there are some that are stagnant it's a process of some philodendrons all right let's say they will be stagnant for six months after after that phase they will take off then my gas grows good like that right this is a gigas yes yeah our ghee gas also is growing very very well that's what you really need in the farm you really need to have like yeah pools poles from the climate trees and stuff piercer behind you is the chardonnay the one that catches uh yeah it's very similar to avicii yeah you know they got the plumani there and they are so lushy and they're so big no uh that's on my list is an sp colombia we have uh the one of the biggest this is sp colombia yes i've seen i've seen um the mcdowells this big but i haven't seen the colombia's this big wow yes and if we take uh if we look closely on the leaves of this plant the cyanus or their ears are overlapping so it means that it uh in the long run it will be a round shaped leaf eventually yes you join this looks similar to the color of a soderoy but i don't think it is this is it yes but but uh only similar to saudi arabia yeah that's what we've got solar effect climbs not crawls yes no it crawls not climbs yes that's right but it has the red yeah it has the red petal in the middle yeah this so ours is getting this big now babe right our soda it's almost this big oh yeah so do you give special fertilizer to these or they're just in the ground under the shade class um we apply some fertilizer but but i think the the thing that made them beautiful the the thing that made them rich is the climate that we are offering if we look closely on the net shade and if you look closely me my sprinkler puja there are sprinklers or showers that automatically opens when it is hot so the humidity and the temperature for the plants are maintained regardless of the of the current weather so the watering is not done on a schedule it's done on temperature yes well that's a good tip because ours is done on schedule we have an automatic watering but schedule so it depends on the temperature it will just turn on it'll turn on a mist to keep the temperature cool but we we actually still do uh the regular watering for the thorough watering process this is just to keep them cool yes look at the leaf of the spiral dancer it's so big you have to take a video of this part it's so beautiful is this plum any eye like faces a combination of slow money faster i got these are the pasta xenons then yeah i like the the the way that they've sloped it that's a good idea there's a veteran there oh yes there's a vicious eye planted in the ground yeah you see the difference the ribbing is more uh deeper than on the so the concept we have here is to replicate what is inside uh an amazon jungle yes the natural habitat for this place and you are really doing a great job we will be turning this into an events place for weddings yes for weddings and we will be incorporating restaurant write-ups yes you know what it's really nice like the bride can come out there just a small venue for wedding but a solemn place it's true it's going to be a really nice wedding place and then the outdoor can just be here yes right here uh they are it is how they are placed in the wild they gr basically ground cover yeah round covers look yes those skeletals it's turning beautiful that is a solid eraser oh this is a true form sorry yeah look look look at that looking at that so so these basically you built them right they're not they're not actual trees yes uh we meant to replicate a structure of trees right so these are built out of out of like a wire mesh and then wrapped with cloth and then put moss in moss yeah and inside of them is coconut chunks coconut chunks yeah and from time to time we refill yeah we're going to fill and um replace some that are rotten yes that's a cool idea rather than as actually putting trees in and waiting for them to grow you can replicate the trees that like that and you can control the size uh-huh and exactly where you want them to be yes what about if you make it um using um concrete but just wrap it uh with concrete because it is it is easily uh it is repeatedly being watered it will decay it will be and it might fall down and the roots will come are you a botanist how come you're such an expert i'm still a college student currently third year broadcasting wow so nothing to do with plants nothing to do you're not studying ecology or something uh by practice and by interest just helping out the family uh this is part of your family business yeah i see i see look at this fern peru a peruvian phone what is what is that i'm not really certain about the idea of this plant pero i believe it came from pagadian somewhere in mindanao i love this little alleyway here the alleyway i guess where there's pathways it's okay to walk it really is like being in the amazon huh yeah without yeah i would pay for entrance for this yes um that is one of our plan what we want first is to be open for every plant collector there's promotion for your plant sales as well right it's like a showroom yeah on how uh and how a forest look these are done oh those are grease okay it's nice jaina yeah it's amazing it's like an amazon like uh environment so you're propagating stuff in these [Music] yes sir we apply some different type of moss ah okay and then and then the moss will just spread from there and cover it really really smart now because the plants want the moss type coal this is a syngonium yeah this is a type of shingony usually the syngonium leaves are more papery like thinner yes and yes very thin but this one is a different type it's actually part of the family of syngonium as of right now pero it is being modeled into starting a new section a new ah okay it could be part of a new section called uh formosa but it is yet to be uh yet to be so it's from taiwan this one yeah that's why they call it formosa uh it's from taiwan but generally they also came from thailand as well okay very few people have this plant and it cannot beat up with tissue culture all right of the thick leaves uh-huh so at the point i'm a rare type of variegated right now look at the the variation is amazing yes all of them will turn like that and this leaf can grow giant it goes giant like really really big if you look uh at the back part oh yes you see it uh i see the giant leaves up there yes yeah it is the same as this they will ah okay all uh almost as identical as this one imagine that being variegated that would be awesome yes so for how long has your family been working on this garden and collecting plants uh we have been in the in the industry for over 25 years uh here in celang in cavite we have been here for over 15 years and this gallery has been situated here for around two years already so this is just two years of growth yes two years of growth wow imagine surgery in a decade yeah this is a type of fun uh no surgery i'm not really certain about the the id that's a really nice graphic yeah that's a really nice ground cover i like it here's some patricia a big one yes another patricia the reason why we are putting them here is for people to have a perspective on how it looks like when it grows bigger in its natural yeah environment yeah most collectors are keeping them in parts in the house yes they don't reach their full size those are the antonio regali oh my god we have one of these but it's not this big yet it's not as big but we've only had it for three months yeah i never thought rigali would get that big yes those are actually labeled as one of the largest regali leafs in this new one is yes beautiful and silky i know it looks nice the other one is nicer yes but all of our sp columbia came from the same other plant okay we've been cultivating it for the past two years so everything will turn like that right here's our one of the most trending plants right now yeah this plant is from western new guinea an endangered species only few people have it in the whole world in the philippines roughly below or around 10 people it's so it is an endangered species hard to cultivate and it is the 2021 plant of the year in the philippines 2021 most beautiful plant in singapore it's a global uh competition wherein they award the most beautiful plant and the rarest type of plant this is the award so it's from the jungles of papua new guinea yes but in their side of the forest it is already a conservatively endangered species so the reason why we have acquired this is that they gave it to us because papua really queuing for this type of plan so that already has an owner yes lucky for whoever gets this one this is i like this i haven't seen anything like this before so your allocations are growing in the water yes because those are water androids uh-huh they can sustain uh large amount of water yeah yeah i was told when we got our alocasia black magics that you can actually grow them as an aquatic plant mikhail fulcher it's very slippery that's already a dead end because we're still developing the that area here's our one of the massive uh plants in our collection this is the one i'm showing you earlier espinapo okay it's just opened a new leaf yes if you are into the giant types yeah or into the rare types this is a must-have only if uh arid and aroids have it for 2017 to around 20 20. so this has been growing here for four or five years uh it's only been here for i think a year so how big was it when you put it in uh i would say only the only the bottom pulses okay you can actually trace it the pole the old yes yes i see and it's been prospering for a while isn't it it's one of the most beautiful plants and once we say a plant is special it is still a specie and next to it is the proponent of the plant let's say philodendron espinapo phildendron species from napo napo is a province of ecuador okay so it was discovered there is a native plant there it can be named to a place it can be named a person if you have discovered let's say a philodendron or you hybridize a philodendron or an anthorium you can call it anthorium sp and your name sir like the vichyai beta named after people what what is this uh butterscotch i love the leaf on that it's super cool so do you do anything special to prepare the ground before you put them in like put cocoa husk and stuff in the ground or it's just straight into the ground straight into the ground but we make the soil compact from a pot we don't remove the existing potting mix that it has we just apply or comply it with the ground covering okay what do you think guys it's beautiful yeah but i really like the florida beauty though so i think your wallet is in danger see this is another syngonion with the thin type of leaves yeah i just got a milk confetti but it's still very small how much did you get someone gave it me that's a gift you can touch this or the back part of that one backpack hey it's fairy yes that plant is a ginger type okay yes ornamental type of ginger so flowers it's flowers but in the rare occasions okay here is the spirit of sanctity here so these are selling for 350k so we paid 75 for our seedling maybe in a couple of years it will be this size already hopefully there's a caramel marble we've got a few spiritual sinkies here they're all 300k these are all grown from from cuttings of their mother plant here that's 200 yeah 60 000. so yeah this is the full-size florida beauty and 250 000. so this is one-tenth of the price yeah 25. beautiful but you will grow one day into that yeah that's the aspiration you give a kiss that's his mama well our our regular florida beauty is getting to this size so i'm sure we can grow this one to the same yeah and it looks very healthy and i love all right so here's our plant hall from arid nairoids ceiling we've got the variegated florida beauty that ellie really wants i've got this here this is um um half of a and we've got another an ethereum to add to our collection this is a but it's snappy with it and cerium reflects in the vernum and it's got these beautiful corrugations on the leaves and we got given a freebie a gloriosum with a zebra stripe tiger stripe type pattern so that's our plant hall from here look at mila it's nice in here i have florida beauty variegated white stuff so i'm really oh where's the trip you have to say goodbye to your mama goodbye we will take you we will take care of your baby okay how many years mommy is it's a giant [Music] no we don't oh this is for you this is give it for to your wife yes [Laughter] [Music] oh thank you guys [Music] don't leave me [Music] don't wanna overthink [Music] giving [Music] but i don't wanna jinx it baby [Music] oh [Music] fire [Music] [Applause] [Music] don't leave me here [Music] [Applause] [Music] uh [Music] you
