Garbage picking scrap metal.

good afternoon ladies and gentlemen oh it's out enjoying the beautiful weather a few dark clouds up there but i've got something to start my afternoon with got an old bathtub already i'm not starting empty picked that up a couple days ago [Music] got some times i figured it'd be a nice afternoon to go look for some junk see if i can't put some scrap metal in the back of the truck make a few bucks maybe make a load out tomorrow oh i hope everybody is enjoying themselves is that a vacuum cleaner oh i want a vacuum cleaner cord vacuum cleaner cord and a chair [Music] cutters a lot more right get down there let's see like to see that all right well let's get down the road and see if i can't add some more junk to the truck and have a good afternoon something else to pick up it's starting to add uh some nice piles i love picking a big old pile of stuff you never know what you're gonna find but we'll see what i get tomorrow i'm gonna rearrange this stuff and repack it because i got a what little space i have in my little truck definitely got room for more and hopefully there'll be something curbside this morning so i can fill up the truck and make a nice load to the scrap yard and got [Music] all right bungee cord uh twap you lose an eye like that at the final destination oh looks like i'm not the only one that got an air compressor all kinds of goodies add my own goodies way through let's go get a ticket all right all back home uh so what's the ticket say uh let's see 640 pounds of 10 shred still at nine and three quarter cents a pound so it paid me 62.50 so not bad you know i got some cords got me a folding camp chair even the ratcheting part of a ratchet strap looks to be in pretty good condition shiny shiny chrome uh got some sheet metal in the back some sheet aluminum and some extruder aluminum so not a bad day but actually on the way home unfortunately i didn't get the film because the two gentlemen didn't want to be on film but i found this yes actually uh had a bunch of uh car parts hood hinges calipers uh i don't know there's all kinds of stuff in there front end parts and stuff but also this little dump trailer i didn't think he was throwing it out i thought he was just hauling stuff out to the road but uh got good tires on it you know when them little dump trailers you haul around with a lawnmower so i know somebody who might want that i gotta give my brother a call he might have a use for it who knows but definitely a cool little find anyway so pretty good day not going to complain neighbors got a bunch of satellite dishes out there with uh probably 50 pounds of concrete on them uh no thank you now i could drag those over here and just bust the concrete off but then i got to get rid of the concrete uh and i don't think so um but yeah overall a pretty good day had some fun got me a cold drink it was a beautiful day i think the weatherman said it's supposed to get up to like 82 today which is hard to believe that is december and it's going to be 82. uh christmas is going to be uh at the beach this year but that's going gonna do it for me folks so until next time
