Street Scrap Sunday Fan Appreciation Day

now ghetto scrappers your arm again Sunday morning going for a little stroll around and seeing what kind of scrap we can pick up hey straight up would see a fan I'll just have a look over here yeah so hopefully people have had a chance to put out more stuff today and we find a bit more things more eat waste still going along the same theme picking up fans not picking up scrap steel unless it's really heavy and good so it's a good start one little look one little fan there's a scrapper chick on bike maybe I should not mention the fans because that's all I'm saying so far don't leave a screw on the road for fans already and that's it now well to tell you the truth I don't really need microwaves today yeah I've just got too many microwaves at the moment another scrap of going around so I don't know I've got nowhere else to put microwaves in my backyard at the moment so I'm a bit you know worried about picking up too many at the moment so I'll still take a few if I see them but I just won't go too crazy [Music] one fan after the other I think I'd jinx to myself all I'm finding is fans not one really just fans well DVD and there's a microwave Oh two microwaves it right there we go it's time to get on the roll and cord as well well three pcs but I think they're all scrapped out yep kind of just had their hard drives taken out still got the motherboard and slot cards just had their hard drives taken out but it looks like three pcs in one pickup that's awesome oh yeah yeah it's got still got everything in it Wow I'm glad I turned into this tree yep yeah well main thing I want is the motherboard it's had the power supplies yeah all the power supplies have been taken out it's just got the motherboard but hey what do you expect for free my take this olive drum handy to put like you know gold recovery stuff in it wow I didn't expect that well they the ho species are certainly going to be easy to scrap out anyway seeing that most of the stuffs already been taken out [Music] so yeah well two kind of a bonus there's three motherboards anyway some DVD drives some slot cards don't know if any of them got RAM is a scrapper cutting the cords it's got a microwave at the back I'll let him have that bit I'll go to the next poll there's a big pile just junk junk who would have thought and then on the junk pile we find junk alright let's go up here and see what's down there if you had a cord bucket it's a good condition one I don't need to live on this so so far three pcs two microwaves a bunch of fans so not too bad at least this area is a lot easier to park the car so you just uh there's another microwave good Christmas decorations just put that down just wanna sit here there's two really nice pieces of stainless steel and it's quite heavy so there's five or six dollars worth de yeah looks like a stainless steel cover on the microwave to take that off that's really good have these two pieces one on top of the other I'm not going to scrap these out sometimes I need a nice piece of stainless steel like a plate so so yeah that stainless steel was pretty good I'm happy with that just another piece to add to the good steel collection the piece see how that one is totally scrapped out just got the power supply in it I'm not gonna take it just for the power supply you know otherwise it's just like scrap steel it's you know there's much better steel to take than that if I really wanted steel fans I see fans handle warm oh geez the the cord cutters are really being efficient today well yesterday yeah they're not missing many cords at all it's like a good lawnmower some wanted that me a couple of manifolds good heavy steel another fan or you get to it toaster seems quite steals print one cabinet fan oh gosh oh it's a bit different huh - fans some cheap little rods there are any kids came out jobs they're good quality I've taken bit I got plenty of rods don't need anymore the 30-meter hose yesterday I'd say air hose Wow I'll take that that's awesome check out that it's an air hose for for a compressor right I've got a compressor and I picked up one yesterday too but sometimes you need a really long hose these fluorescent lights are going to be careful I want to peek them they're the ones with the power cord so you can plug them straight in really handy when you're having a barbecue outside at my time one's really greasy - oh very grazie bit of copper scrap this everywhere this one is - another one nice grep is a pretty friendly sound alone just look at your like like a dead fish yay grab yourself a washing machine Mike [Music] I want the good stuff [Music] right there's another scrapper Wow this area has got more scrappers than I've ever seen in any area huh and it's funny when you see when you see stuff on the back of a scrappers truck that you pass by and you think I'll now I don't want that and then you think I'll take that I've kind of lost myself again but that's alright I'll just follow diet I was here before no I meant say there's noise scrappers that smiled and then there's other scrubbers that you know they just look at you're real funny you know so that guy just there you know in my smile wave time that's it we're all doing the same thing we're not in competition or anything like that you know there's enough scrap out here for everybody let's keep looking electricals did you know satellite satellite receivers and a fan that's all right that's a nice little pickup how many is that I lost count fans a couple fans hopefully won't find some more pcs I don't think we're gonna have any shortage of fans but from what it looks like most of the cords and appliances has been cut so there's no point in stopping thinking I'm gonna cut any cords it's just a waste of time because yeah most have been cut already yeah so after a bit of a break and some lunch I feel nice and refreshed and ready to go again I like it when I turn into a street that I haven't seen seeing that I saw a micro are a vacuum cleaner with record because I'm not getting many cords and it's the start of round two I'm gonna take this cord because the cord cutters are being out on a frenzy and so that's fine but I want to get one so I got one it's a little black board but it doesn't have a stain so it's really not much good I don't have a wall to sticker on what's in his cradle under mummy is that a PC you beauty Oh lenovo thinkcentre well that was tucked away around the back awesome how's that got a good stock of microwaves that's for sure I might have to call it quits on microwaves because ya just got too many I think I started off the day I wasn't gonna get that many microwaves and so now I've probably got a pretty big pile so I'm gonna have to call it quits on microwave nice little Panasonic my Baba actually asked me if I could find him another cassette deck that works so it's all intact I'll test it out and if it works oh I'll give it to him and it's still got a cord my Sony speakers [Music] but yeah I won't take the cold so I'll just leave it just in case song a toy laptop Dicer I just plays music and stuff that's kid I'll leave that some will go past and get excited I think is all that talk looks like another microwave yep [Applause] just being put out I'm getting there I've I've got to kind of remind myself not to have lunch while I'm out scrapping because after I have lunch I get really tired and I just want to sort of relax but we've got another Fanny and I want DVDs it's so it seems that people are still in no rush to throw stuff out even though it's Sunday afternoon yeah they're not looking to you know they'd still slowly putting stuff out so probably the best option is to come back again tomorrow when the last you know because it's a public holiday most people will be putting stuff arm I'm pretty happy with what I've got so I might as well just call it a day and give it get me a chance to go back home and unload this stuff and yeah because there's a lot of microwaves I've got a lot of scrapping to do at home so might as well just go home and do a bit of work because yes I met you I've got a big pickup to do on Tuesday and so I've really got to start getting on top of this stuff and you know because you can only pick up scrap for so long before you actually got to start scrapping it out and so if I'm n on the road every day because I spend you know a lot of the time on the road picking stuff up and then coming back and unloading there's just not enough time in a day to scrap everything else so yeah let's make it start making our way home and have a look at what we got and we'll call it a date okay well unpack and this is it so that's all I could muster up for the day it was funny because on the theme of fans this weekend and I think the first four items that I picked up with fans so it's just funny how it works out sometimes and I even missed a few because I couldn't take off the stands and I I just didn't want to bring him in with stains but yeah really funny so I've got a few good items I actually you know I got four pcs again so I seem to be getting a bunch of PCs everyday even though three of them today were mostly scrapped out they just they still had the motherboard and slot cards in their CPU and all that but it just looks like the hard drive and the power supply units for some reason we're all taken out probably the best thing I got was this air hose so I really handy for the compressor so I'll definitely put that away and keep that but yeah everything else I got a monitor and some interesting things I didn't get a much steal today as far as things that are useful for my workshop apart from probably these two big nice pieces of stainless steel but yeah so I'm just going to unload all these fans and put them aside again with the ones from yesterday and I'll just see how we go tomorrow whether I've got time to go out and do a third pickup and probably no doubt there'll be more fans and I don't think I'm gonna even touch a microwave tomorrow because yeah I've just got a few and I've just got a bit of work to do here at the moment then I scrapped out all these these are all alarm electrical boxes they're all got to go but so I've still got a lot of stuff and when I got 2 4 6 8 you know 10 11 bet 11 microwaves still the go 12 so yeah a lot of microwaves here and then probably another six or so inside the van and as I keep mentioning on Tuesday I've got a big pickup got all these PCs here as well just recently and I've got a huge pickup and these boxes here I've got about a hundred of these boxes just came in the other day they're around the back they're already tipped over because of the rain so in there is alarm consoles and stuff like that I need to scrap out so I've got a whole heap of them and on top of you know this kind of stuff and all the stuff in the garage so I need to really catch up on stuff here so don't know if I'm going to have enough time to do another day of street scrapping tomorrow I might have to just leave it with what I've got and tell the up the fans from here and and yeah just leave it at that and scrap all this out because this is all going to be scrapped before next weekend so I can go out and start doing it all over again so yeah just you know because it's it's good fun being out there and picking up scrap all the time but unless I come back and I actually spend time scrapping it you know it's just going to build up and build up so there has to be times when I've got a sort of say okay especially this week with this big pickup that I'm doing on Tuesday you know I've got to allow myself some space here to stack up all the IT equipment that I'm getting in all that and so that becomes priority and so but anyway had quite a lot of fun with the fans today it's just funny I've got to know the ones with the little frames so I might check that one out before I scrap it I've already got one but I don't mind keeping two of them they're really nice-looking fans alright guys well I hope that I was a bit of fun for you and yeah reasonably big day cruising around but because tomorrow is a public holiday no one's really in a rush to throw out rubbish so it's all gonna probably happen tomorrow and on top of that this area that I've been doing it's probably this weekend of it's probably the most scrapped as I've ever seen I thought the last weekend was the most but they're coming from everywhere and because there's not many places at the moment that are doing hard rubbish everyone's sort of hitting that area pretty hard but next month when it comes over my side of town it's spread out quite a bit and then it starts doubling up in other areas so there it's it's a lot bigger areas and so you don't know to scrappers as much and there's a lot more stuff about so when you're scraping in a street you can pretty much Park it in a street and just keep loading where is this place everything's been picked out you know most of the chords have been cut so there's a bunch of chord colors going around a bunch of other scrappers there's steel scrappers there's all kinds of guys out there so it's really good to see that many scrubbers out there but it just makes it a little bit harder to to get a decent feel unless you're taking scrap metal and so all this space that I've got empty here this could have been scrap metal but I just don't have the room at the moment to hold it anywhere because tomorrow is a public holiday I can't go to the scrapyard tomorrow and Tuesday I've got to go straight out and do this big pickup so when I come back I need space to unload that stuff so next week it'll be a different story I'll be able to get back into more scrap metal but for now I just wanted my e-waste and
