position looking for the interception [Applause] this defense again whether it's wagner andy russell or lambert lambert's played an exceptionally fine game that was jt thomas each team has pummeled had to be taken off the field in the stretcher and into the steeler locker room second down eight to go pittsburgh on the 43-yard line of oakland the flare pass out to franco harris who shakes away oakland goes right back 60 yards this is a high kick settling down to mike collier he's after the 15. 20. finds roone 40 and they just flipped him up he was nearly gone an extra man here on third down and 11. deep drop back bradshaw's pass fairly intercepted by phillips he was trying to go to gross [Applause] phillips oh jack lambert again boy he's all over the raiders fumble it away to him five was jam and lambert and then fumbled it right back to pittsburgh in the third period a high kick brown takes it on the 30 35 40 and down he goes on his 43 yard line third down seven scratch off passing away and all right [Applause] down to the 36-yard line lambert who's recovered three fumbled today for a new conference championship game writer going deep it is incomplete jennifer reggie garrett run for 68 yards [Applause] defeating pittsburgh alone is difficult defeating your home or something got a loose ball there up for the ball oh the assist trunks this truck freshers on him look out here [Applause] six turnovers against the steelers five on over raiders ball wide open and french and the ball is guarded loose let's see the seven the steelers with a nine point lead [Applause] first down at the 47-yard line of pittsburgh [Applause] to the other [Applause] there's a pass complete coming across latterly was uh cyani [Applause] paul with 24 seconds to go 17 out of 40. he's going in the end zone and it is the bradshaw george blanda favor to hold he kicks it up and the kick is good all right 12 seconds to go now that makes it three four 16-10 six seven eight nine ten looks like they got ten men out there now and there's the onside kick let's see what it is [Applause] [Applause] and that's it there he goes with the bottom the branch branch he cut it has the ball and fights his way oh he's not out of bounds it's all over and look at that france cut the ball down around the 15-yard line but couldn't fight his way out of bounds that's giving him the best ever the raiders went down to the wires just as much of the team ever could and almost a hopeless position john madden disappointed again [Applause] but reversed it went for the field goal came back and went for the onside kick his position was almost unbelievably hopeless and yet on that last play they had the ball in the pittsburgh 15-yard line well that's it the pittsburgh steelers again have won
