Frontiers Speedrun but I can turn Super Sonic whenever I want

what if in Sonic Frontiers you could turn into supersonic whenever you wanted The Talented modern storyx has done it again and whether you're in cyberspace or open Zone you can turn into Super Sonic at the blink of an eye I decided to mess around with this mod on stream and then I tried to see if I could beat my any percent speed run time with this new power let's see what happened so chat my thoughts about this is I want to try to do a run with supersonic and New Game Plus and what's really funny about it is I'll probably get a time that's like still worse than tato's New Game Plus record let's see how crazy this Run's gonna be I'm probably gonna be really bad at all we'll give it a try so right away we're gonna go supersonic obviously and for this level we're just gonna skip all the way through it because I don't need to do any of the missions luckily the camera all right let's just go around this chat oh wait no further around further round okay hey Chad are you ready to go to the boss okay so let's hit this oh my computer is whoa it's giving me the training thing now all right well even though my computer is freaking out we're not gonna let that stop us because now we can well this is really silly and goofy I'm losing time on the split it took me so long to beat him that I'm losing time on the split here all right well just like that we finished Chronos extremely quick uh what's funny is uh if I would have done that fight better I think New Game Plus like normally actually finishes that faster but we won't we won't focus on that so we gotta try to do this while also being supersonic so I think right away I'm gonna boost here to get these and then we're gonna go like this uh get hit I guess can I oh my God he goes up and down really fast can I get out okay sure am I trapped okay good wait can I go supersonic during this automated section oh I just am Supersonic yo is the game gonna crash where's he at go keep going wait where's his head [Applause] oh he's just not solid oh no the game is really broken right now Chad I think it's I think I should have just rode the automated section uh uh uh where is He Man I got him to die I'm determined to make it through this automated section of SuperSonic there's Gotta Be A Way hahaha um um I didn't know I could die like that Well Chad it seems we have to play this part normal it's fine chat we're lapping out the strats right now and now we're gonna [ __ ] his whole world up and to think Chad that was the start of the fight yeah but the fight itself doesn't really matter we're gonna just melt his health with Max stats dude all right really slow wyvern but it was mostly us just testing to figure out what we can do for the next time I'm like super super ready now for the next time we come back to Aries oh there we go and then we do this and then we go back over to the emerald here supersonic with Bridge Quest I feel like it would be slower it is probably way slower to do this but we'll give it a good shot oh dude the descend button doesn't even work can I like d-transform oh no I literally cannot do anything right now this is just bad this is just slower I'm just losing time oh okay wait I hit a spring and now I can move okay wait this is actually faster never mind okay we've learned the Strat Oh wait [ __ ] chat we get to cheat now this is gonna be the fastest Benjamin city of all time my computer is not gonna like this but it's gonna be really funny okay drop down here yeah man the these platforming challenges are so hard bro holy [ __ ] man I'm putting in a workout holy [Music] wow the sub 2 Rhea God I'm so fast [Music] one one two two three all right well there goes our first supersonic New Game Plus Speed Run way slower than my PB even with Supersonic and stuff but yeah it's it's just mostly because we had to figure [ __ ] out now let's see how good of a time we can do with supersonic when we actually know what we're doing you know what actually might be faster low-key is to do a hyper bounce and we're gonna go straight for the platforms but I'm gonna do a hyper bounce when I get there so let me do this and we'll go oh no I messed it up no oh no now it's time for the real true actual real inkton truington speedrun shall we cheers my friends shall we cheers my friends all right this is a good start so now we actually made it right to where we need to go I'm gonna just adjust to make sure that I don't land in a bad spot spin dash to here [Music] okay now it's making me do the training thing which is really goofy my computer is chugging right now oh what the heck um can I okay there we go okay I had to skip some splits before we're good stop him stop him Sonic please just enough for the next phase I don't think I'm gonna side Loop them down fast enough oh I'm so fast okay we're good all right well uh pretty even with the last time I think still could do this definitely faster but you know we're we're trying to figure this all out as we go at least we're about like eight seconds ahead of last time oh never mind loading screen Jesus dude it's brutal straightforward memory tokens make sure we get all of them and we're out see you umbrella man oh no I got the 30 FPS glitch I wonder if this will change after the fact oh wait can I go super here oh I can yo the game is [ __ ] pissed man let's go I think this is fine but I just need to get onto the path after this no no okay okay okay okay it's fine it's fine it's fine dude I honestly think that I should just not try to go supersonic through this section and just try to do it mostly normal yeah see I need to be on this path if I don't get this path to move with me then it just doesn't go anywhere it's fine I'll just do this because having like Max Speed lets me air boost through this [ __ ] like crazy okay so we're not gonna go Supersonic in this stage because I actually think it picks it up more than it helps actually let's just do this can I not fly over here is the invisible wall really this high you're kidding me man I guess I'll just die and try it again okay there we go I'm actually in this section I don't know why it was so hard for me to get there this game man now normally this would probably change the routing of stuff a lot but I'm just trying to do it with like the normal 80 route because it's what I know and I'm trying to see like how fast of a time I can get and what's actually really funny is I think so far it's actually a little bit slower than if I were to uh just do normal any percent stretch which I think is pretty funny okay let's see where is I need you you and then we're gonna unsupersonic here and I'm gonna get this I'm gonna get this and hopefully I can get this without dying good this will save a lot of time over the last run because I had to like die to get rid of the weird supersonic aggro thing that was going on all right I gotta try my best not to troll now which is easier said than done but God damn it I lost so much time here the last time no please please please please oh God I'm scared okay the ass rank there is actually pretty tight if you don't get it within 30 seconds GG what wait I still need ten where am I missing ten from oh this is bad chat I was not paying attention I'm just looking for Strays at this point that I can try to collect I'm losing so much time at the end here oh I know there's one here that I didn't get oh no is it still counting me in combat okay it's not it's not [ __ ] [ __ ] well chat it's also confirmed that I can't beat the game faster than my PB with just cheating with supersonic guys this was a really fun mod I would definitely recommend that people check it out on their own if they're uh you know it shouldn't just be supersonic and fly around everywhere it's pretty cool that you can just turn it on and off whenever you want and doing it in cyberspace stages is really cool of course for like the speedrun it's kind of harder to be supersonic because like you have to still do all the missions so it's kind of hard to like finally control like his Ascend and descend so shout outs again to Sora for making such a goaded mod let's let's bring it home dude most of most of my time loss in these runs were from pinball Skip and then the cyberspace stages and although we didn't beat PB we at least beat our Super Sonic PB and that's what matters yeah dude Super Sonic is really fun but it's actually really surprising that in some ways it is actually slower [Music]
