From Neglected to Stunning + We Take a Break and Explore France!

[Music] foreign this week we did something we never do no not cocaine we took a break to play host and tourist we were forced to we had guests more on that later [Music] what was that going to talk about I do not know [Music] we have to have good posture yes whatever I said I like that that's a bad habit I know it is yeah yeah this is the first we've seen of the Sun in like a week yeah it's been very rainy which we're complaining about but we're not complaining about it compared to what the rest of the earth is on fire so I think we're okay with a little bit of rain yeah um everyone's gone so we're back to all right fancy outfits work attire that used to mean something fancy right you used to wear a tie to work right now whatever ripped t-shirt you can find so we're in the um petite Salon this is my first full day back to work since before our guests arrived yeah because we didn't really do anything for a couple weeks I think yeah it's been about two weeks and on and off so it was kind of nice not to do anything but it's always in your head what you're not doing oh I know when you're relaxing it's like a curse I'm almost sort of done with the ceiling then I need to skim coat the panels which before they get wallpapered yeah so I think I can get that done this week well you might be wondering what this tape is and it's uh where our TV is going to go this is going to be our family room place where we watch movies and just sort of hang out so we have to have a TV originally I was going to wallpaper this entire panel but I thought it would just be too busy with a TV here we'll have the TV instead of you know just a black hole if you will in the wall sort of like art that you can put on your TV so you when you walk in it doesn't appear to be a big black spot it's it's just something pleasant to look at so around the TV I'm going to be hanging a variety of different kinds of photographs and paintings I'm always interrupted by a cat never fails so this is going to be a really fun room and I'm very excited to get the furniture and the whole room styled most of the items before this room have already been purchased we just received a new coffee table we have a console to go beneath the TV for storage and junk most of it I Source online and rarely do I have a problem although I did have one purchase I made online which was a complete fail and I'll show it to you so like I said most things I purchase online I've had really great success with this however is a different story I needed like a little table lamp and I saw this so the lamp was supposed to look like a statue like an old antique statue and sort of turned into a lamp and it looked really interesting online and had a really beautiful red shade a stone face but what I got was completely different and I call this the Shrek light and this this will be going back by the way it's just so hideous so this was supposed to be the um the the beautiful lady head but it's much smaller in real life and it's a strange fuzzy green so it's actually fuzzy and it's bright green um yeah so that was the first problem second problem they sent me [Music] not a red shade but a pink velvet shade I mean it looked nothing like Photo this was a complete and total failure this will be going back [Music] just names for our newest kitten there were some really good ideas I was fond of Salem and seven considering he's cat number seven but it was ultimately our daughter's decision since she found him and all of our cats have middle names if we ever invite you to our Chateau for a stay in lieu of
