Freeman 28 Walk-through

hey guys this is Chris Dixon with power and motor yacht magazine and active interest media coming to you from beautiful Mount Pleasant South Carolina and I am currently aboard a beautiful Freeman 28. I'm going to give you guys a quick tour of a boat that we have just gone 66 miles an hour and indicated Against the Wind and against an incoming tide um incredible boat had an amazing time on it so I'm going to give you guys a tour here we go starting up at the top um big nice Minn Kota controlling motor expertly mounted prize there a big storage up front on both sides these are insulated by the way too more big storage some links going past us now among the the neat features of this boat um it has and they're very strong I would add because I'm having a hard time even moving them magnets holding down all the cushions and they're really holding on very nicely tons of storage on the boat and these backrest here come right out lead to excellent broad storage area up under here if I can find where to open that patch and they're all on they're all on hydraulics yeah this boat is we've actually been out on so it's not in pristine Museum condition which is just fine with me again you can see the magnets on the other side of the cushions they really lock into lock into place well super comfortable solid seats we went over some big waves with my son on the front of the boat and he was not he was able to hold on didn't go flying straight up in the air latching locking cooler up front loaded with the prerequisites JL audio system all the way around again more Ample Storage on either side as you'll find you know with catamarans with their twin Hulls beautiful thing fresh water runs leaning post seats are super comfortable super solid everything's just expertly stitched workmanship is gorgeous massive Garmin screen this boat interestingly has jack plates to raise and lower its twin Mercury Racing 300s in addition to the normal trim and tilt on the boat along with the power along with a pair of power poles on either side the uh the jack plates lets you get up into really really skinny water with this boat and have you know a lot of power I mean a lot of a lot of propeller contact with the water in very skinny water beautifully crafted super solid t-top Outrigger setup huge Live Well with a clear cover here and then um you know again just massive storage beautifully engineered bilge area with petcock valves and everything just you know full-on like nice groco components thing beautifully beautifully uh laid out zip tied into place got one two three four five six rod holders on the stern twin separate pressurized rear Bay Wells both are pressurized foreign bilge area massive speakers we like the um platform off the back to plenty of room to on this boat it's just super easy to walk around and Fish on zero obstructions as you'd expect from the Billy Freeman boat huge light display this has a joystick controller by the way too and the Mercury Racing 300s which just pushed us over 65 miles an hour indicated uh with a tide running against the tide with a wind pushing against us too it was thrilling and again expertly crafted Electronics access panels um beautifully done behind here are the lithium motors for the trolling motor so this does have lithium power for the throwing motor which is pretty cool so here's the boat list South Carolina built born and bred there you have it beautiful day beautiful boat Chris Dixon power and motor yacht signing off from Mount Pleasant South Carolina
