[Music] all right guys i'm with my good friends chase and jovan with costa custom boats we'd like to introduce our brand new 264 right here at the palm beach boat show now we're gonna go around and show you the bits and pieces inside and out guys thank you first of all for doing or creating an amazing product could not be more excited about it can't wait to see this bouncing around miami and all of the shenanigans we get ourselves into first thing i wanted to mention ryan from glarb and jordan from wraps on wright absolutely killed this rap look at how cool that thing came out it's got like a camo gray black with that topography included so this boat doesn't really need it but sure doesn't hurt so wanted to go through with jovan real quick he's figured out these boats pretty well and go through some of the attributes that the coaster has on the exterior that some of you may not know about so jovan where should we start oh we'll start at the back thank you for for everything we'll start at the bow i want to go over some of the feature that makes this such a great riding hall i want to point out here the spray rail that's right under the bow so as the boat's coming down on the waves it pushes a lot of air coming out which gets caught by the spray rail here and deflects some of the spray down also we have a wave buster here a wave breaker that has a flat side on the back that actually catches a lot of water going forward and it also as it's coming down on the wave it breaks up the wave and makes for a much softer landing uh if you see here from this angle you can see how much flare we have on our bow and also this reverse chime that runs the whole length of the boat all the way up to the step makes it for an incredibly dry ride as you're in nec condition it also makes the boat track incredibly straight this is the only catamaran that i've been on that does not bow steer in any seat condition whether it's following or quartering or quartering away beam c it does incredibly well as we move back on the hull you see our twin step which makes the boat incredibly fuel efficient and fast in the water this boat cruising it's right around 2 miles a gallon everywhere from 35 miles an hour all the way up to 52 miles an hour and then even if you're getting into higher speeds at 55 58 miles an hour you're looking at miles per gallon anywhere between 1.6 and 1.8 depending on how you're loaded down and then if you do the racing package and depending on which prop setup you you're going with you can get well into the 70 mile an hour range at the top end and still giving you a decent cruise speed and 45 50 miles an hour yeah so we went with the standard v8 300s back here i think it's a perfect package this thing will probably get into what the mid 60s high 60s possibly if you're lighter on fuel yep absolutely it gives you a good cruising speed around 45 miles an hour at 2.4 miles per gallon with this setup running the 24 pitch four blade prop setup that we have here in the back you can see we have our garalek transom ladder that's a pull out ladder which is really nice because you don't have a ladder that you have to stow in any compartment you just even if you fall overboard it's really easy to deploy the the ladder from the water gives you a good grab rail here as you're coming in and out of the water we also have an option for sea deck here at the swim through which makes it very comfortable when you're getting out of the water and putting your knees and you don't have to scuff up your knees on the non-skid putting that ladder away is very easy just push and stow and you're back in business you can see the the beam of this boat it's 10 feet wide you got a great access point here spread out outboards you get a good look at the jack plates here as well which what's the draft we're looking at draft on this boat with the engines trimmed out of the water you're looking at 14 inches it's it's right around 18 inches with the engines down also while we're back here i wanted to point out how well designed the trailer is and how the trailer supports the boat and the steps evenly and it has these retractable ratchet straps that are mounted fixed to the trailer once we get up to the bow i also want to show you guys how easy it is to get in and out of the boat with this ameritrail trailer package from the outside looking in you can see that we have our rear corner backrest with the cushions that sit on the on the bait well there it's very easy to take this boat from sandbar mode into fishing mode because everything is stowable the backrests go into the rod locker compartments and you can put the cushions into the center console and it's very easy to move from a fishing scenario back into a sandbar scenario so at the front of the ameritrail trailer you see how easy it is to get in and out of the trailer once it's hooked up on the truck you have this grab rail here and it makes it real easy to get up on the boat so loading the boat on and off the trailer at the ramp makes it real easy especially having the steps forward to the boat so i don't know if you guys have seen some of our videos that we put online before alan and i actually fished at a mahi tournament out of islamorada and it was blowing every bit of 25 miles an hour that day and we were in six to eight foot season we had four guys pitching baits to uh mahi standing up here in those conditions which being that it's a hybrid design it still does incredibly well offshore and alan you could talk about sure you see a lot of hybrid boats out there and it's not to put any of them down but the catamaran makes a lot of sense in that format or a space specifically because you get that wide beam two sponsons it's a lot more stable you tend to get a little less draft if i'm correct on that the efficiency and speed increases so when you talk about an all-around hybrid boat this is exactly i think what the definition is so we've been out there hundreds of miles chasing swordfish we've been in a foot of water at the sandbar pretty much on the same day so not because he's standing here right next to me but this boat really does all that stuff well so stepping down onto our bow step this is a fully insulated uh fish cooler or you could use it for storage we've you know put our mahi our kingfish or wahoo in here and still has plenty of room to get plenty of fish in there coming up here to the deck we have also a 10 gallon pitch bait well it's a recirculating bait well that also is insulated which for a day cooler you could just put one bag of ice and you have enough drinks for just you and somebody else to go out on the boat on the sides here we have our pfd and fender storage it gives you plenty of storage to get your pfds and safety gear in here without compromising any of the storage that you have in the console so you could put your bags in there and have everything accommodate everything very easily our anchor compartment here holds up to 600 feet of line and it's also finished on the inside gives you a nice clean look and everything drains overboard you don't have anything that drains into the bilge moving back to our lounge seat here we have our lounge seat cooler which also has a divider a lot of times when i'm going out with the family and the kids we do snapper and grouper fishing where we put the smaller fish in the back and then have our food and drinks in the front and having the divider since it drains towards the rear it doesn't contaminate any of our food or drinks the lounger now with the arm rest on the sides makes it for a very comfortable ride and you still feel secure in the boat regardless of the sea conditions and being that the boat is such a dry boat you don't have to worry about getting wet up here it gives you a nice comfortable ride so walking around here on the starboard side we have our console door which is a bi-fold door which allows you to swing the door all the way out and inside here you see this boat is outfitted with the finished liner with access doors to everything behind these doors you have a full accessibility to all your amps to the back of the electronics to the batteries for the trolling motor to our trolling motor modules everything that we have in the console is all protected in the event that you want to throw bags in here and do a long trip you're going over to the bahamas you can load this thing up with luggage and you don't have to worry about it bouncing into your electronics it also gives us enough room that if you wanted to install a a head with a holding tank we do have that option our wrap around glass enclosure is actually really nice for visibility it's not like eisenglass or the polycarbonate that you have it gives you for a clear view of the bow while you're running and we actually designed the console to give you a nice open view of the bow and have a comfortable position while operating the boat up here we have our sunroof which is very easy to open and lockable locks it in place and also it's very easy to get in and out of the stand through let me do it i haven't done it yet let's see what the view looks like up here all right there you see easy as that you can see how comfortable it is you can jump up you got your your bench seat whether you're just going to hang out up here or drive the boat you got some rod holders if you're going to pitch some baits from here and we got a 12-inch simrad up here as well all right so check out the electronics package we went with we decided to go with simrad throughout we have dual 16-inch mfds which work perfectly on this acrylic we put the switch panel integrated into this absolutely crazy jail audio sound system that we'll walk through here in a minute your vessel view and everything is laid up here comfortably and easy to access the visibility on it is obviously perfect right in front of you got your jack plate controls right here trim tabs throttles for the mercuries bhf off to the left and just absolutely perfect layout in the helm so we went with haze gray gel coat kind of like that gray as you've seen from other boats this is the jail audio 12 inch subwoofer which i'm just gonna stand next to it for for a reference the absolute loudest sub in our opinion at least when it comes to 12-inch we have eight speakers two 12-inch subs absolutely incredible sound system mvi amps and it's been tuned by ray from jail audio himself so we can't wait to get out of here and actually put this thing to the test and really see what it's capable of but they did tune it to maximize this thing to its full potential so i mean we wanted to create actually there's more there's more over here pop in here in here we have this compartment that allows you to store all the covers for your gps's so you don't have to dig around the console if you're just throwing them in there it has a specific drawer that you could put your covers for the gps's and all your other displays another nice feature that we have in our boats is that we have all our battery switches and our keys right here at arm's reach you don't have to dig into the console and get to the battery switches if you need to turn them on and off everything's right here we also house our starting batteries in this compartment here so there's a little switch you get in in order to get into this compartment uh we also put a lot of thought into our newer console where we recessed our electronics keeps them a little bit more protected from the elements and in our glove box up in here there's plenty of room here to put cell phones and there is included a usb charger here if you if you want to charge your phones while you're on their way we designed this console to be efficient and also designed around functionality so even while you're sitting up here we included that the the foot rest is at an appropriate height that makes it comfortable for most people at their height so your feet are at a comfortable position regardless in what position you're sitting in whether you're sitting on top of the bolster here or if you're sitting down here it makes for a nice comfortable ride decided to go a little bit brighter with this blue it was basically meant to match the bahama blue from the sea deck material which we might integrate into that decking after the boat show but you can see this lamborghini style lebron absolutely crazy arm rests on both sides you know when you're running this boat you can sit here comfortably whether you're driving or a passenger and you feel like you're locked in you're safe at all at all times and this back rest actually you know holds you in completely so went with the black stitching to complement all the black accents throughout the boat decided to do a little different with the polish they normally have the linex which is also very nice but we went with the black underside of the hard top with the gel coat integrated gel audio speakers we have a simrad autopilot right here led lights our spreaders all around and just gives it like a sports car look and feel if you kind of get that from this whole helm area so let's work our way to the back so jovan can continue yeah so all of our boats come standard with fresh and salt water wash down it comes with 14 gallons of fresh water that's in a tank that's tucked in in this uh fish locker here both of these fish lockers are also insulated so if you needed to keep additional fish in there that or you could use it for storage back here we have our tackle station that has this pull out drawer that's lockable it gives you a little bit of a platform here so that you can rig some baits and it also if you want to keep your yellowtail hooks or everything that you use more often regularly that you have it here also you have tackle box storage here and you have two additional drawers for all your odds and ends and pliers and tools and i keep my extra lines and cleaning supplies in these drawers as well back here we have our bilge access from the front of the bait wells that also has built-in bucket holders into the liner so it has three five-gallon bucket holders so you don't have your buckets rolling around while you're offshore you have full accessibility to your fuel filters and and pumps and valves and everything from here so you don't have to be a contortionist to get to all your serviceable parts back here you can see how much space with the 10-foot beam that's on this boat that you have to fish i mean we could easily fish three four guys back here and even being back here at no point will you get water coming behind the boat with all that weight back here these cushions fold up and slide out and then these backrests come up and fold up and then you could stow them and have the boat in what we call fishing mode or you can put it back into sandbar mode you have two 40 gallon bait wells that have their individual seat chests so they're pressurized and it keeps your baits from getting sloshed around also the seat chase the seat chest allows to have water available for the pumps while you're running being that it's a stepped hole if not it would catch a lot of aerated water with the with the standard uh bait well pumps moving back here you have access to the bilges behind the bait well as well so this will give you access to the through hall fittings in the event that you want to shut them down for any reason then back here we have the view of our seastar electric jack plates and the optimus steering and if you wanted to mount power poles we also have a bracket that we can mount dual power poles whether you want eight foot or ten footers let's go ahead and do a quick demonstration on the jail audio sound system he picked his favorite song on earth to play for us [Music] everything's definitely well thought out as you can see on this boat one of the main reasons besides it being absolutely gorgeous uh the performance the group that's behind it everything about costa is phenomenal and why we we chose to go with them everything's been such a pleasurable experience that we we look forward
