now for years I designed ATP's check I designed paychecks check if that's your payroll provider I've designed many state government checks foreign countries checks for years people would say to me why don't you just design a check for small businesses and so I did it's now called the super check I make no money from it I have no financial interest in it I received no royalties for it as a matter of fact I didn't charge to design it I did set the guidelines for printing it and the standards for it but today's standard register more wallis safe checks many companies offer the super check in designing this check I just said to myself how do I eliminate all risk so first I started with a controlled check stock with a water marked paper that you cannot buy on the open market each check is destroyed at the press so when they run the press if they have an registration problem those sheets would go off to a micro shredder each back of the check has a number on the back so that each checks sheet is controlled since you're printing the checks on a laser printer you know that every sheet has a starting number ending number on the back of it not the check number you put on but the sheet itself the stub of the check on the back says non-negotiable so no one can ever take the white stub off the bottom and convert the stub on the security paper into a check it uses prismatic backgrounds eight colors of ink mixed together to defile the scanner so you can't scan the face of it it has a high resolution border the same border that would be on an engraved stock certificate to higher resolution for copiers and scanners the padlock at the left and right of the check is nothing more than an icon used around the world to tell how many security features are in a document the teller knows what that means but in this case when the teller touches that icon it will disappear and then reappear this is called thermochromic ink and this works on the human body's heat when you touch it the heat of your body makes the chemical disappear when you let go it returns instantly 1 million times over and over and over this is so we can authenticate a document at the casino page without the casino worrying about having a piece of machinery to do so or the grocery store or the check casher whoever once authenticated document at the point of transaction it is 86 chemical sensitive so we have taken the 21 chemicals and where they come from their family of chemicals and eliminated the possibility of that happening make a copy of the check and it will void out the signature panel rendering it worthless this is a void Penta graph and where Penta graphic dots are invisible to the human eye on the check but visible to copiers and scanners so when you make a copy of it what you end up with copies would void on it and voiding out the signature panel in this case using by Snapple drink company put it in a can poor chemical on it and any of the 86 or the family of those chemicals will destroy the check in seconds this is great because when a guy calls you says look you send me this refund check but I tried to chemically alter the whole check just dissolve they're not going to call you obviously they're going to throw it away and you keep the money and eliminates that problem this is a check dropped in some acetone or Cutex nail polish remover you can't remove the toner because at the manufacturing of the paper this is at the paper mill not where we print the check we inject into the mill process a chemical that stays dormant for 10 years when your check goes through a laser printer the intense heat of the printer turns the chemical on which locks the toner on the paper for the lifetime of the check so you couldn't take a razor blade and scrape it off you couldn't pick it off you couldn't tape it off it's permanent and of course I have asked I have asked the company that provided the brochure to give you a sample of the check because I'm believer that seeing is believing so when you go back put some chemical on ER you have a laser printer type test test test test try to get it all make a copy of it see what happens and of course these checks are sold in quantities as low as 503 to a page cut less variation they are probably cheaper than the checks you are currently using but there have no problem wearing about counterfeits alterations or someone fooling with your check they also make a personal check a little higher than the check you pay for the bank but has all the same security features in the personal checkbook and the information about those products are in that brochure

This is interesting, a compendium of state-of-the-art security tactics for a printed paper token used for a financial transfer. No doubt this will become popular, it's AWESOME! However, this is sort of like recommission of the battleship IOWA with new wires. Obsolete technology. Cryptocurrencies will (and already do) morph into secure transfers of: money, contracts, and assignments of physical entities to intangible entities of all kinds. We are looking at the beginnings of a massive paradigm shift to a digital age.

PS, I just discovered r/practicaltangent a few minutes ago, and just a brief glance indicates I'm going to like it here. I recently initiated a new sub, r/todayplusplus, which seems to be an ideological relative to this one. I hope it will turn out to be a mutual admiration society.
