Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I tend to smile when being accused of lying. Always seems to be everyones gotcha moment when I do it.
The thing with the flowers was such a clever catch. We here in Eastern Europe do tend to carry flowers downwards like this, because since we were kids we were used to holding this long flowers (carnations with long stems, peonies, roses) at ceremonies like Victory Day and First School Day and if you carry them upwards they tend to fall down on the side, specially when you are a kid and don't have a strong enough grip.
So, shout-outs to scientists and sceptics and psychology experts... well, isn't all this just bullshit? Pseudo-scientific garbage?
If it is not, when will we have machine-learning agents that can tell with 99% certainty that a person is lying?
His books "What every body is saying" and "Read'em and reap" are 2 of the best books on body language vulgarization in my opinion.
It seems as if there's no set guide for interpreting body language. And it's extremely variable. I think each individual has to be analyzed within their own realm of body language. Because of that, it makes instruction or even exposition about body language in a video as such very difficult to adeptly do. It's why the video seems all over the place, why he doesn't make educated inferences about what the body language dictates rather than spending the majority of the time describing the physical articulations.
"You need to understand that everything you do at the poker table conveys information"
Most poker players should get that reference haha
After watching this I am going to be the FBI agent in my family.
What a crock of shit.
This has potential to be a series!
