today on Commander class we're playing decks submitted by you the viewers what's everyone running today I'm seven I'm playing a hidden commander deck by Dave Graff that's looking to cast fractured identity is many times as possible hi I'm Richard and I'm playing Azusa last but seeking a monogreen lands combo deck by Sirius 964 it's looking to play cultivator Colossus and play basically my entire deck draw all the cards make all the Mana and play all the cards in one turn yo what's up it's Crim your favorite salt Miner this week we're playing Turbo wolves by kofif we're just gonna try to Turbo out a bunch of wolves and kind of play girl Prosper hey it's Homer and I'm playing a pillow fort deck looking to donate my hidden Commander drown new over to my opponents and then using this is one of those commanders that didn't come to moto for a long time so I don't think I've ever actually yeah before uh I just I remember we did uh Baldur's Gate over at uh Star City Games right right Daniel Holtz crushed me with it oh with the pre-cons yes so I I called Shenanigans yeah didn't that happen to us too so that sounds like we played that that pre-con combat and Jeremy had this deck and then Jeremy won I remember we got rolled by yeah one of them it probably was this deck I think you're right [Music] I love it I mean if it's my deck then we're gonna be oh it's dealing with a lot of business Walkers very very far from yeah what was Azusa what is Richard up to I'm playing a mono green lands combo deck it is very convoluted and the the primer was like I'm sure you'll figure it out and I'm like dude please I love that you're not doing anything for the first two turns uh I looked really hard for the wincon I'm like wait a minute is it really this I have no idea I was gonna ask me Eric but nieto's busy doing spoilers yeah it'll be fine uh uh yeah my primer was very well written out so it even helped me understand it my primary reason I should categorize they had like oh this is your ramp this is the thing that wins you the game this is a hey neighbor don't worry about it what Roar of resistance preacher tokens have face whenever one more attack you can pay two if you do attacking if you do creatures attacking opponents or Planeswalkers they control get plus two plus zero oh that's kind of cool yeah this is a new card right It's gotta be I've never seen this place where you can actually enable it for other attacks as well right whenever one more creature's attacking I'm APS so if Seth hits me he can pay two minutes Grim can pay to pump my creatures yeah because I'm I'm a like look I'm the people's champ you know we're just gonna do this right that got a rotted yeah or is it still a fox wait a fox is not but this is online It's gotta be it's Gotta Be oh yeah you're right you're right oh yeah you're talking about alchemy yeah yeah yeah it's been alchemized to be a dog that's like a mini salad you don't get the ramp but still like it's actually like this what it's not good wait one seconds one of those cards that was falling off like people forgot about it right it's still really good but it's people 2013 or whatever last time I played Azusa deck they just pooped a ton of eldrazis and played feel of the dead so I'm curious what your deck does what does ramanatu actually do draw a card put a card from your hand on top of your library blink's coveted Jewel yeah yeah we can also blink I wish I had one there's someone steal stuff from you you can blink it back I don't have stuff though uh how do we do this uh play I'm a not too and one two hopefully no one attacks it I'm a little worried about how much Mana Richard's making over there like he's oh yeah he's going up slightly um don't pop it off all right now you're good we're just gonna we're just gonna do this we're gonna play the mirror segment uh-huh really I'm ramping this week I'm really I'm debating probably yeah I'm just gonna run it out I think technically it survives no it goes up to four so it's not October can hit it and Crimson pops with you oh if cream wants to spend his turn pumping to kill my aminati I'm I will accept that look look I'm just saying that tip Crim is stuck in two lands that's all he's gonna do come on I've dealt with spooky ghost girl before all right I I I I know that that card is sick yeah I respect that Commander it's not a miracle deck I'm a I'm a hidden commander deck built around oh okay okay okay okay yeah but I can't find my hidden Commander card that's the the issue I need to find fractured identity that's that's the whole point since we're playing commanders and then pass oh I guess because creatures on Haze if he makes tokens oh yeah only I wonder if I cast stuff from Exile though I'm curious so you can pay what three mana and just give everything haste do you think even in a token deck like Israel resistance better than fervor or is it just like more flavorful because it refers to your theme I mean it's better because you can pump stuff right like they the pumping I guess is an upside in the late game but it's only tokens that's the thing right like it's our Visionary you're playing all the cards I play in Yara this is this is good blockers chump blockers if you will I feel this hard to make Mana yeah three Mana two two just so much value Cycles yeah hey no I don't have Mana no I don't have Mana no I still don't have Mana how many lands does Richard have this turn we have a decent amount what's the worst that could happen the problem with the Zeus is you need lands in hand like it's yes I'm out of lands after island and in pass unfortunately with all this Mana up so uh who know you might get authorized if you attack me just saying or settle the wreckage I got all the all the four Mana things that can ruin your day potentially yeah yes I want to play Ambush Viper I feel Ambush vipers underrated what's what's the best sniper is that actually ambushing it might actually you know what the best Ambush Viper is sorts of plow shirts probably always playing guadal if you play snow but look I could Flash in Ambush Viper and then attack amanatu so as flashers can't do that okay it's true I can trigger toski uh I'm gonna see if this resolves Seth okay blue player check oh God okay excellent time is a blue player all right but you get two Treasures that's like almost that's almost Jessica's will maybe it wasn't even no yeah yeah it's so worth it yup he has his Commander so it's like in the beginning no right you have to possess the result right yeah all right got some Treasures [Music] yeah Jessica's Will's a scary colored oh papa said you scared it's pretty well it's also really good with foul Thorne because like any spouse yeah it's uh pretty good oh yeah that's weird oh no oh it's the face breaker you're gonna do this oh that's really good does this resolve this is uh uh yeah that results sure well one or more creatures you control deal combat damage to a player create a treasure and then you can sack the treasures to impulse draw busted busted oh familiar um yeah obviously uh no blocks this Visionary can tap for Mana all right actually if you think that card's probably underrated honestly which one uh or Atlanta where Visionary yeah yeah oh pretty much uh all right let's just play this and then I just set holding him who knows what I could be holding look at all these blue players passing yeah my deck is really built around fractured identity many of my cards don't make sense unless what exactly is a combo with fracture like you can spend it don't say Nine Lives please there's no nine lives up that player May draw oh wait that player May draw a card if a player other than oh so I get to draw well I don't have any way to make people lose life but in theory I hit someone else during your turn yes not Tomer right yeah you get to draw a card then you get to correct card okay okay you can still hit I mean you could you could also just lose life otherwise but like you can still hit me but as long as you somebody else other than me is losing life on your turn then uh so it can be you with anything but gives them protection wait does this also work with like my if I crack a fetchland and lose a life I can be the player that lost their life it's just anyone except okay yeah yeah oh my god it works for everybody oh wait oh on your turn you can crack a Fetch and draw a card and draw a card off your own yeah so if I'm I'm not even hitting Emma not to I'm just no thank you oh okay okay yeah but I'm using the the secret uh aspect of land and War Visionary to do something else the Mana dork mode the very secret mode I'm gonna activate my trap card okay is it a giant growth I don't understand you'll see crash we'll see it's gonna deal two damage all right I mean Lord of the Rings boom those lands look pretty good actually Pilgrim's eye oh my God it's fine this is a Richard deck this is very much original this is all the creatures this like would play yes kill my creatures probably gonna blink them or something but I'll just play them straight no Well I obviously have synergies but I'm not uh it's not a blank is pilgrims I underrated probably not that might be properly rated Skyscanner is better correctly I think anything that has ETV any any sort of value is O is is highly rated in a boardway focus stack which kind of was our meta for a while so does replace itself and fix your Mana yeah yeah it fixes your Manner and it blocks he's basically edric at home right like eaters but you only ever draw a card right yes and also your opponents don't necessarily have to hit each other with creatures they could just play Greedy Mana bases okay we're gonna play tempt ah who wants to join me I might actually know if everybody else says he has the same field of Ruin on the battlefield yeah oh Seth's countering it that's countering it actually I might not copying it we might have to tempt each other into Oblivion here Identity On The Stack what do you got here I'm just I'm just casting in city as well copy Target instrument sorceries battle you can choose new targets for the copy okay so I will also give you away what are we doing are we just going to do not help the field of the Dead player yeah I mean he's also uh so I don't know if this was good so it's not it's not it's not yeah it's not the Legacy combo it's not that's do not do have anything better it's a really cool combo I would I wouldn't play some dirty Lance combo it wasn't like absolutely insane so I'll show it to you I think I understand the main combo but I don't understand how I win with it I'm gonna take the new better strip mine it does trigger ETB for well three lands oh my God this is yeah we spared amanatu for some reason I drew a card well Richard you you kill them the only way to solve this is to you all kept with me so I could get some food I think he's been tempted enough I I think you're good I think you'll be okay oh did you all get Seth I got then I get wolves oh you turn on fuel to the dead anyway you guys might as well have just taken lands it was turning on anyway I said no like you're response already yeah we I don't know if that helps and then we would be behind so you rewards that's for his foreign people feel like not to know it's really not doing much it's just I mean if you guys gave me the lands I'd have enough blockers and I more oh he also has like the little like value town like you can crack a clue to try their own land okay which lets me play lands off the top and if I have how are we how are we doing this I can do moment I have farewell is it more beneficial for me to try to farewell now or wait until after Tomer cleans up one of the fields of the Dead in farewell next turn I would wait is it better to wait a minute Richard has an entire turn of that he gets a turn of Azusa in track say more zombies into a farewell unless I mean like the the only the only thing that happens if you farewell or something if you fare well we just fall behind to so you think farewellings worse I mean yeah because what what do we do like all that's gonna happen is rich is going to play land he rebuilds and we have nothing to pressure Richard with that's true so way to turn then as well at least draw 10 cards and pass and get away with it but I mean what I'm just gonna draw some cards the threat that I can see is you synergy for his most important stuff is a combo right I have so much haste hey I mean it might just be a value card really yeah [Music] oh man can he pop off in one shot us no no Commander you have to like Exile your whole hand and play it or something he just did oh shift and kill us no wait will that works because every time I land etv's he gets a he goes oh no comes from from exile this again whenever you cast a spell from Exile or a land enters the battlefield no from Exile from Exile wait whenever a land enters the battlefield under control oh okay yeah yeah okay oh my god oh no he's getting just because it will again booty Target though oh I have to I have to resolve first I have to resolve first restoration has a counter spell I have it I mean we well he doesn't want the Jessica's World counter but I don't have blue Mana so it doesn't matter like I mean he doesn't want his future spells the figures I I'm just trying to get enough of a board to like be a threat to Richard yeah but like so so you need lands right let me tempt you with lands don't give Richard land no you can't give Richard land I can't give Richard land but you can't okay I'll make this easy for don't even know what I'm doing that's all you get eldrazy you don't need to do math if you attack you win have you heard the take that there's no more combat in Commander that people only attack when they win so like the only attacks are like a crater hoof attack or something so like there's no actual like blocking and combat math and any of that it's just like your infinite combo ends in a combat and like that's the combat in commander and I would believe that in cbh I don't know about casual Commander every set they just keep printing more and more combat incentives so I think it's the opposite is true there's more combat than ever before I remember when we played like predates and stuff like that combat was more of a rarity just because there wasn't really as much incentive to attack right like but now like if I'm attacking you with like Ludovic draws me cars and there's like edric and there's like all these Discovery like there's this like yeah monarchy like every every new set comes with more reasons to be attacking more more than ever before there's too many Tossy effects to be not attacking yeah and God forces people to attack so I mean I think all that's good though right I feel like Commander so what happens when you cast two Jessica as well Restorations oh what if he what if he like that's like you would or something how sick would that be am I right as well do it again what did you actually get well I guess you guys aren't getting a farewell anytime soon is looking very interesting here oh it turns out I feel the dead I think I'm it turns into a commander game ends that way I mean I mean you got to see kind of my deck I don't know if I would really call it a blink deck so there are a couple of blink pieces like Deadeye Navigator you saw the fossa there's no like Mass blink your board stuff to do that but really it's playing every creature that can get an instanter's horsey back from your graveyard it's playing Every Creature like Echo Mage that can copy an instant or sorcery and really you're just trying to like do what I did for the early game which is like oh that guy has a new again like let's hit the oog and give everyone a new again see what happens and then the one actual finisher in the deck is there's no Nine Lives no I don't see another way unless I'm missing something probably the second funniest thing I could copy from my deck is Abyssal persecutor which doesn't win the game but it keeps anyone else from winning the game so if I get really desperate I can try to give everyone a abyssal persecutor but really that's the plan and the one thing I'll say about the deck it's really well built for what it's trying to do it's got to pull from eternities it's got like pretty much all the bases covered because I was a little worried at first when you're like Exile in the graveyard getting rid of my like hidden Commander but it seems like uh it seems like uh Dave Gaff who built the deck graph who built the deck actually like thought through all of those possibilities to try to make the deck resilient so yeah I was ready all right I need to walk you guys through my combo too yeah I want to know what this is trying to do it's a cultivator Colossus deck it's a seven drop it's power drop that's equal to Lancy control and when it etvs you put a land from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and then if you do draw a card and repeat this process so you combo it with uh storms collagen five Mana artifact whenever a land is tapped or man or return it to owner's hand so I can tap all my lands float Mana return them all to my hand play cultivator Colossus jump them all back on the battlefield and then on the battlefield you have a Lotus Cobra type effect or amuleta Vigor so the lands come down and make more mana and then you bounce the cultivator Colossus with Team or Sabertooth and that will go through your entire deck and the only finisher in the entire deck is one finale of Devastation that I could figure out so you just go through your whole deck and then finale to like swing through with like The Avengers endicar or or the thing but uh you get to basically just play okay all the lands in your deck and then also field of the Dead I guess would work too right you gotta feel the dead make tokens then finale them finale gives haste and pumps them uh but I think if he just drew finale though you would have just kill this Avenger or zombie I I was digging for a finale at that point right but uh I knew you guys all the counter spells I couldn't really fight through them all so I was just trying to do like value plays to like bait out counter spells until you guys tap low which like I literally played that Avenger for value and that ugin for Value do you try to bait out spells but I also did not draw The Cauldron which is kind of crucial to going infinite um with the Colossus so it's a pretty cool deck like you get to play lots of lands but then I don't know maybe just play eldrazi I don't know something maybe it would have been a lot better how many lands how many lands are lands okay so not like an absurd number but yeah yeah oh and the orborg is to give my lands the ability to tap for Mana there's actually no there's no combo with it right now yeah well my deck was basically doing the same thing as Seth but like worse because because I was doing drama stuff you saw it at the end I was gonna try to give you John new and then uh kill with um star of Extinction but it doesn't kill you and it's only one person so I also had Brash chaunter in my hand and Seth was at 21. so I was figuring that maybe he'd get to like 20 and then I could kill Richard by just destroying all his permanence and then I kill Seth by um doing Brash taunter damage to the face so that's a really cool idea yeah yeah yeah so that that was the whole gimmick there and then the rest of the deck was just like cards that don't really matter it was like Pilgrim's eye and it was like wood elves and just like stuff to just like be like very richardy about it you know like just not a threat have some blockers just relax you know so it was it was it was very effective like I was not the threat for the entirety of the game I was just kind of hanging out waiting for people to do their thing and then uh having a little bit of answers in the back pocket you were like I thought that was really good and you were like super close at the end too like it was coming out of that last turn cycle where someone was gonna like Richard or you or me what about you Grim were you close to like winning at the end there you almost won early when you had that huge double Jessica's will turn but like how close were you at the end to actually like winning I couldn't find food chain in time uh because the combo is food chain and squee right and then make a ton of wolves and then just kill everybody like but otherwise it was just all about just casting as much from Exile as I could and on top of that since we have soul ring on the ban list I took that out and added pretty much soul ring sort of body in mind because it made wolves so uh yeah other than that I mean yeah like that was that was the only thing that I did to change it up from co thief's uh uh list otherwise yeah it's growl prosper and it was it was pretty cool I think once the sweep happened that was it I don't think I ever came back from that one because well actually it wasn't just that one sweeper because it was also I never played my commander again because I knew there were a bunch of other sweepers in Seth's hand yeah any other counter magic yeah I refuse I knew you both had counter magic so I just like there's like yeah I'm not playing in it yeah I think it's Hollywood if somebody would have had to eat a
