Foxit Automatically Creating a Table of Contents for a PDF Portfolio

Welcome to our learning series let's learn how to add a table of contents to our foxit PDF portfolio now before we begin let's create a first portfolio to do that we're going to come across our ribbons at the top here just give me a minute my mouse seems to have disappeared so we're going to navigate to the convert ribbon here or Tab and right here is our PDF portfolio we're going to create a new one now on my desktop or in my documents folder I have two documents this one here which is a Word document and this one here which is an Excel spreadsheet and I'm just going to say open to that so those two will be combined into our portfolio and let's create that portfolio opens we can see the two documents in their native format and we do see right here we have a portfolio tab open now across the top we have a cover page let's click click on that and you can see on the cover page this is all there is that's it if we go to the pages panel that's our cover page but let's change that up let's add a table of contents automatically let's close this portfolio and not save it and let's configure Fox if to add the table of contents to do that we're going to go to our file ribbon and down to preferences and from the left hand side we're going to create PDF and there's a little check box here create a table of contents in the cover sheet when creating the portfolio and we're going to say okay to that now let's create that portfolio again let's go across the top to convert portfolio from files we're going to do the same two files and we're going to create that it looks exactly the same except when we go into the portfolio Tab and the cover sheet and then open up Pages you can see we have one automatically and they are actually hyperlinks to those documents this one we can choose to delete we don't need to have that one any longer and then we just have our table of contents for our brand new portfolio if you've learned some things from this video make sure that you hit the like button down below and if you have a chance please subscribe
