Found Rare Gem While Digging at Diamond Hill Mine! (Unbelievable Find)

oh my gosh dude look at that pretty one oh that's like perfect what's up guys jake here today i traveled all the way up to south carolina to a place called the diamond hill mine i've never been here before but today we're hunting for crystals we just put a drone up in there to show you guys an aerial view of what this place looks like from above but we're sitting in this like giant looking crater honestly like this looks like something out of the world man it looks like you're on the surface of mars in a way as you look around you can see a few people but i guarantee you when the weather's a little bit better there's a lot more people here digging if you guys want to see more crystal hunting videos like this in the future drop a thumbs up on this video if there's support i'll travel to another mine and see if i can find some more crystals but honestly you can find some very rare stuff and i'm excited to see if i can get lucky and find something super expensive so let's get out before we start digging chris and i are actually on a surface sun so it rained a whole bunch yesterday and that's going to reveal some of these crystals on top of the surface we're going to look around see if we can find some oh wait is this one you know what oh boy i think i got one what's that us some maybe smoky quartz look at that cool look at that a little one all right that's cool found our first crystal of the day little baby one there's actually a lot of different crystals to be found here i guess this side right here is a lot of amethyst and over there what do they call them chris there's smokey skeletal quartz way over there is aquamarine so there's all types of different crystals to find today and this is seriously a really cool mine but uh we're over here at the uh the amethyst and in hopes of finding like a really cool amethyst crystal but uh i mean you can really find anything here man i'll find another crystal of some sort like a white one nothing super valuable but i'm gonna hold on to it it's a numbers game i gotta beat chris today chris just found this giant rock and he said inside the pockets right here are crystals check this out i'll spray this one off right here look at that hey will you help me load this in my truck i'm gonna need you to carry it back for me oh chris look at this one dude i think i got an amethyst oh dang that's a pretty one oh yeah wow so the darker the purple the more rare and there's some purple inside but it's not like a super super pretty one it's chipped on the top a little bit but this could be hundreds of millions of years old that's crazy i can be the first person who's touched it ever since it's been formed at the other mine we went to one of the guys who worked there he said that if you can find a crystal on top of the surface just like surface hunting it's like a gift from the mine itself and you could do the hard work you can get it but sometimes the mine will like gift you these crystals and that was a good gift right there that was awesome oh i got one come here look at this one dude oh my gosh dude look at that pretty one oh that's like perfect not super dark purple but the shape of it is pretty perfect that's awesome you found two of these already and i found them so we just got done searching the area found a handful of crystals this is the one i'm going to end on for surface hunting now we're going to go grab the shovels and see if we can find some more stuff but that was a pretty one man that's awesome so we're ready to start digging i have the shovel what we're going to do is actually start clearing out this mound of dirt first i believe this is like a good section to start digging here [Applause] oh i got it you don't know you have a good rock or anything until you wash it off like you'll know if you have a good amethyst crystal because it's like deep dark purple but some of these rocks are hidden by the clay and then when you move the clay away it exposes the crystals [Applause] some of them yeah right there here's another one a couple little crystals out there [Music] so i just dug this rock out and flipped it over i went down and scrubbed it off with the brush that's skeletal quartz you can see that the crystals are made up of smaller quartz crystals that's a cool piece i got something i think oh yeah little crystal right there oh look at that dude that is so pretty a bunch of orange crystals i'm not too sure what that's called but i bet when i clean this off a little bit more there's gonna be more crystals right here so i just walked up over this hill for a minute and i came back and uh jake did all that did you say you drink an energy drink or something man no no he's got more energy than i do right now it's almost 5 30 right now chris is over there trying to hammer open a rock we just heard that there's a creek over here so i'm gonna get over there in a creek cool off but we might even find something cool over there in a creek i just want to get out of the sun for a little while man his hard work all right chris and i are headed to the creek right now we have done some work man all this fresh dirt i see go down is uh all the stuff that we have done today on this side of the mountain you can find all types of stuff in this mine and anywhere you look you can find something amazing i've been told the stories of people just walking and finding like really rare pieces so just gotta be careful just keep your eyes out hold up chris wait for jacob alright guys so we're headed down to the creek right now super excited i have no idea what it looks like i hope it's clear i hope it's kind of chilly so i can cool off rinse off my feet and my shorts have a lot of dirt and clay all over me yeah it's pretty dark back here i'll let chris go first we made it to the creek it is so beautiful down here what's the water feel like i didn't touch it it kind of smells to be honest yeah that's kind of why i didn't touch it it smells really bad down here oh wow let's go this way it smells so bad if the creek fell like that i think it's getting stronger no i think it something's dead over here dude we should look in all these rocks just to make sure we don't see anything good i see quartz right that's what that is sports lots of forks oh look at this shiny rock right here what's that you think that's all micah it looks like micah michael yeah is that valuable nah no it's uh and they're actually just like it's probably a very soft rock yeah and those are little flakes yeah of mica in it so it's not gold no well i'm still going to save it you never know there's a spider on me oh my gosh i flicked it off but you have to walk by it the mine's been open for a long time thousands of people go here but they probably don't go to the creek they probably don't so we could potentially find something good in here let's keep looking found some more mica right here i like that one dude can you find gold like look at this this looks now it's not gold i have no idea can you find gold out here i have no idea oh look i found some more mica this is a big piece [Applause] looks like a chip of gold oh look at that one yeah dang finding all of them dude oh yeah i see if you look close there's like little sparkles of them everywhere yeah are you finding though found some more mica right here i guess mike is not super valuable jake got something over here let's check it out what's that uh quartz forks yeah nice courts this this creek is just awesome looking it's nice and cool down here the water is nice this looks like gold definitely not but yeah little mica flakes i think oh yeah like that see you can see them shine at you look at that and it's all micah look at this thing it's like a perfect sitting tree yeah dude i gotta do it there we go retreat retreat abort mission i was gonna go all the way up but it's super slippery there's awesome quartz rocks everywhere so different that what i have back at home in florida more mica look at that look at that that's cool oh jake's leaving me [Music] [Applause] we've walked like a mile back on this creek we haven't found anything super crazy but we did find some cool little mineral rocks and stuff but chris and i are now headed back to the main spot and we have one more spot to dig one more spot one more spot and hopefully we get lucky there all right so this might be a bad idea but we found a side creek and i think this is a short cut back to our spot pretty maybe you know what they call us trailblazers they're making our own path that's right i do think our site's right above these trees so i think we're gonna be okay venture out there in the real world tell me if we're at our location this is not the spot there's another spot i think we're lost this is definitely not our spot chris we're lost that's a big ol ant hill we think the spot is actually above this hill now so we're gonna go through the woods back down another creek and then up it and i think we actually did the shortcut correctly our shortcut panned out for us man we found some crystals in this rock right here check that out dude we're on a spot this is a secret spot no one knows about oh dude that's crazy that is beautiful look at all these crystals wow let's carry that back all right you go first we'll put it on your back chris i'll be a turtle we just hiked up this entire hill i thought this would be a shortcut chris but a little bit more work than i thought i think we made it though let's get out of here chris if i slide catch me oh my gosh oh my god dude i think we made it or we're at another mine hi justin now that the creek adventure is done chris and i here we're gonna go way over there to that little bin and dig behind that because i was told like that's the fresh dirt so let's get our stuff man let's do it it's gonna be fun i just found this quartz crystal just surface hunting i was just walking around it's all a little bit of it sticking out jake look at jacob here taking his brains out i am wore out we've been digging for two days straight okay no more so we've been digging for a little bit and i just found this nice crystal it's not what we're searching for but i could end on this one man that was a pretty one i'll wash it off so you guys can see later at the end of the video but that's pretty cool found my last crystal we just got done for the day but i'm gonna show you guys all the crystals we found but first let me clean everything off so i can get most of the clay and sand off of this and then i'll show you guys that's a nice one so the left chair over here is my chair this is chris's chair this is my second time ever going crystal hunting and i have to say man it was a ton of fun found some great stuff i'll be honest with you guys i'm a noob i'm not entirely sure exactly what i found but i was really excited to find more of these here the amethyst crystals found a little baby one i also found this medium-sized one that's really pretty and then i found i think this is called a smoky quartz which is pretty rare here too i guess my favorite piece of the day definitely has to be this middle amethyst crystal here and this one right here this little yellow crystal and this little cluster here but chris over here got super lucky he was cracking open the rocks found two giant crystals here and he also found this beautiful white crystal here you know for all i know chris this could be like all the scraps everyone left but yeah we like them that's fine i was saying it's just mind blowing to me that this was just woods when we got here you know and we dug this hole that we're standing in right here this entire hole all right guys i hope you enjoyed the video if you guys did make sure you guys leave this video a
