Ford 8N Plowing Snow in Blizzard

hello everyone so we are getting kind of a winter storm today we're supposed to get i think it's somewhere between six and eight inches or something so we've already got about two or three inches here on the ground it's probably that's probably closer to two inches um so i'm going to try to use the ford and plow this the first time just so it doesn't build up too much and yeah that's pretty much what we're gonna be doing today so hopefully this tractor will start the last storm we had it was 14 degrees out and it actually wouldn't start the battery was dead so i have the battery on a trickle charger and it also has a heater inline heater on it that i have hooked up but i don't think it works because it's not getting warm at all i've never actually tried to use it before so i might put a new one on there because it could be kind of handy when it gets really cold out but let's see if it starts [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] get all unplugged and then we can start plowing so what i like to do is get the tractor started let get warming up and then i scoop the snow away from the garage door here and off the front deck get away from the house and then it's easier with the tractor so last year i found out or figured out a better way to plow the driveway instead of trying to plow up the hill here i plow it all down to here and then pull it that way tractor tends to get way better grip on it when you're going downhill it's easier to pull the snow especially when it's icy but right now it's actually not icy underneath so it's going to be fairly easy to do so let's get going [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] i should do it for up by the house here now i'm gonna do the road a plow does come through here but i don't know when they're gonna come through here so i'm just gonna do the road real quick too [Music] well as you can see i got done but there's already a good amount of snow back on the ground so i'll probably come back out in a couple hours and do this again and again and again until it's done snowing but i don't want it to get built up too much because then the tractor will probably have problems luckily it's a pretty dry snow it's really fluffy so it's easy to move at the tractor and we don't have any ice underneath it so that's good too so yeah that's it and hope you enjoyed we'll see you next time [Music] you
