all right today in a chemistry class we're going to be learning about covalent bonds and can I can I help you with something I don't like school I'm gonna be a youtuber well hello everyone it's me Christine again and Minji it's back-to-school season everybody except your if anyone is mean to you at school you're just let me know and where do we all look to for advice on going back to school YouTube of course thank God for all those youtubers going back to school and uploading videos about it what would we do without them now there are many different channels who put out really high quality very educational content on back to school but my personal favorite is Truman true you know who else loves true toom videos it's been Oh bad would you like to play with me we're gonna use our brains today oh yeah yeah it's very challenging stuff come join me class is in session Benji pay attention in class you want to watch some back-to-school videos cuz you're 30 years old I'm going back to school hashtag I'm so relatable here at the school of tone true we see a prime example of educational content look at their very wide curriculum unit after unit of material here at root room university you'll get a diverse education in edible school supplies weird back-to-school supplies school pranks weird ways to sneak food into class the truth room has so much back-to-school related content that they are basically teachers should run an experiment where like you take a group of kids and half of them go to school and get an education and half of them maybe testing only yes and the other half only watch streaming videos let's look at their educational and workforce outcomes pre and post it could be an ethical experiment not to the term term group the treachery that be completely on ethical to damage them that way so if you weren't aware we have a bit of a history with trim trim because we once tried their 20 banana life hacks yeah and ever since we've made that video I've noticed other channels take note of how ridiculous the content at trim trim is is troomph room okay we're not alone other people realize how crazy this is there was an article in the New Statesman where she just wrote an article about just how absurd trim trim it's in one video a woman cuts a lemon in half of glue as a zipper onto it zips up the lemon and the places that in her handbag wow what a life so among the whole roster of high-quality rich educational back to school content on YouTube there is one particular unit that has been emerging lately and that's students pranking their teachers I love that unit it kind of sounds like grounds for expulsion to me but so today I thought it would be fun to put some of these pranks to the dist Ben I'm the student you're the teacher oh yeah that teachers gonna go on a coffee break you do some silent work at your desk steady independent study I don't want to see you on your cell phone back in the classroom it's been a few years I'm ready to learn oh yeah I'm ready ironically I've just snuck truned room into class we need to prank the teacher how about this [Music] watch our new funny video with a new compilation of funny school pranks very hilarious we don't recommend repeating in class what we are going to arrange a real circus in class we sneak in a bright Garland to the teachers purse you can't do that Miss Smith reaches to take a hankerchief out of her bag and takes out heaps of them that's trespassing on the personal property of your teacher when the girls stop moving Miss Smith ties all the stuff on the desk using fishing line that's the teacher with students that's also illegal she ties up the girls to what they barely managed to get out of the treacherous teacher's net wait student pranks on teacher and Confused strands from whose team are you on this test is not for the faint of heart try me try to untangle earphones cut the earbuds off of the broken earphones and attach the broken plugs to the joining of the working earbuds boy and the plug no actually in school thank you stop it well I guess I've been exposed all right come on trim trim give me some good [ __ ] fill a marker cap with flour put the cap on redhead opens the markets it gets covered with flour the marker doesn't for redhead takes her backpack to get some wipes but she takes out some hay instead why stuff the backpack with hey what is going on what is going on look like it's been at an agricultural exhibition okay I'm doing that one we're gonna need some highlighters and some flour that I've brought to school [Music] the teacher-student my teachers didn't always get me team but I really like this one if I have to be dressed like a teacher isn't it only fair that you wear your schoolgirl uniform no you sexist piece of [ __ ] hey no cats in the class who brought their cat into the classroom professor Ben I brought you a highlighter oh thank you I'm gonna mark your test nothing's wrong with it I'm gonna mark your tats now oh oh you you got me that's okay I have something to clean it up in my backpack here open it oh my god what's the hay for that's it we need to clean it up men'she left are you doing coke what is the expectation that like students do this to teachers and they don't do anything when she grows impatient and declares a war crossbow is her weapon Wow hide everyone this looks like a very good idea we will need four pencils of the same length tie two pairs of pencils with rubber bands fasten the tied pencils crosswise take an empty pen barrel without the tips and tie it on top attach a binder clip behind the barrel insert a refill inside the barrel miss Smith is on the warpath there it is a weapon for class she releases the bowstring and the missile comes out air attack of the desk pray next truthful video how to build a pipe bomb so it's not even like a good weapon I just like throwing what else we get let's apply some glitter to our teacher we walk up to Miss Smith spray her and blow glitter into her face Wow that'll get you an a there you go now she is definitely a star miss pussycat she is such a nice lady anyway anyway we are tossing an effervescent tablet into the teachers cup oh there's going to be a volcano eruption right now I'm into it let's do it I like the grade you gave me I don't like school I'm gonna be a youtuber they don't pay teachers enough can beep like something dripping kids okay here's something to wash that down be careful you're dripping what did you think was going to happen [ __ ] idiot sex breaks down you wanna take care of that do I get extra credit I think I'm gonna have to call your parents where we need to talk after class not after class if anyone has ever actually followed at room from video please comment down below but tell us like how that happened or what how was that yeah how did that go I got expelled for following true true pranks in real life oh it's not click me sure this is a good point [Music] when you see a video like this whether it's from true true or any of the other DIY my girls think of like how this video gets made it's them and their team of people who are all adults thinking about what's relatable to kids kids don't like school right let's let's show them throwing glitter at their teacher yeah that'll be relatable it's alright for older people making content about school and like giving advice for back to school or even like cutesy [ __ ] about that yeah but the advice is completely useless and sometimes harmful advice and they're also packaging it in a way as if they can relate to this as if they are going back to school but maybe we're just under estimating kids watching these videos is anyone watching these videos and acting it seriously I don't know but at the end of the day these videos get you know millions and millions of views so are we just salty old people comment down below that's what you think I'm 30 years old and I've glitter all over me yes I think the core point though is just that the youtubers making these videos are looking to get views and they don't actually care about your experience of school I think that's probably fair to say yeah honestly that's the sad reality exposed the truth about the YouTube school prank community the back to school youtubers don't actually care about you in your future of Education do we really care about their education well yeah we do those of you who have been following me for a long time know I actually care about education like we both went to post-secondary school i-i've done my master's degree you know I have a lot of young people particularly young girls watching me and I know that they're also consuming a lot of content that's like school is stupid that's just really misguided I think yeah I mean it would be really easy for you just to you know follow the trend and just be relatable and say school sucks right like lots of youtubers do making diss tracks about teachers or making other wise content that said school sucks and even when it's like slightly more reasonable criticism from certain youtubers who are just saying like the school system is bad RHP things that are relevant and stuff I think a lot of that's just sort of missing the core point you're not learning things in school because you're gonna apply them in your daily life once you know you're out of high school but it's just going through that process of having to learn things and apply things is just sort of building the sort of skills that you just need to be successful in life for a lot of people there was a study not long ago right where they say like a majority of young children when they're pulled about what they want to be when they grow up say you took her now like on the one hand it is a lucrative business for the 1% make it to the top absolutely it is a viable career path for some but for the majority of people who deliberately set out to pursue YouTube as a career and they're only in primary source of income I don't think it all works out the way they thought it might like Jake Paul shows it has worked out for him there shouldn't be this sort of false idea out there that you need to drop out and all you need to do is make youtube videos right I wouldn't want to discourage creative people from like pursuing that passion you can do both and I feel like that's something a lot of youtubers don't say because they've just chosen the YouTube path they left behind whatever their previous job was if they had a previous job they were young when they got famous but for myself in the minority of youtubers I've chosen to do both I do YouTube but then I also have a life completely outside of YouTube where I'm a crime statistics data analyst right and I feel like that's a message it's not getting out to people enough is you can do both you can have fun on YouTube make creative videos maybe make money off it if you do if you do that's awesome if you don't you were doing it because you loved it right but then you also have you know a career where you thought or you went into it knowing that this is going to be a career that can support your future financial stability for yourself and your family get a girl the [Music] ladies and the ten percent of boys out there watch me you can do both and that's why in my support of higher education for my subscribers we're
