hello flosstube we're the real housewives of cross stitch i'm priscilla and i'm chelsea this is ronnie killer piper people keep putting that as their to get in the group i'm going to start telling you many people like screenshotted and sent it to us they had to rewind it hi we're here to talk to you about our stitching this week first up we will talk about the tiered tray so this again is the tiered tray from fat quarter shop it is up on a pedestal so it's not really it went and stole the cat's pedestal so it's not this high it's the two layers okay and we had questions last week about where the mickey pumpkin came from and that was from marshall's home goods yeah they're hard to come by she like won the lottery and they got us each the cookie jar you haven't gotten the salt and peppers yeah i've not gotten the salt and pepper shakers i have not seen them i saw on instagram today actually a little you know those like little ladders that have the boards across it was a little two-tier one and she had all three of them with stuff it was cute um anyways salt and peppers yeah but she had all three sets of them um okay so this week we released first was boo jar out of the tear tray tidbits we've moved on to halloween and then the that was last week's yes this is also a tiered tidbit that was last week's yes halloween night i couldn't remember this is a little book from michael's yeah we'll go through that okay so um she's got stuffed in here like little witch's legs on the opposite side candy corns a little redone bowl with a pumpkin tons of questions about the beads so there's different sets of beads all throughout here right so i think one of these came from fat quarter shop and i'm not sure i think the other one i might have got on etsy but i went yesterday and put a bunch of them in our amazon shop so you can look there and i ordered myself a bunch more too because i love them so we'll show those when they come in i had haul today and i forgot at home also people have posted that they've seen them at dollar general i don't know the quality of them but they've seen them there you can make them but sometimes you can find them at walmart and um hobby lobby but there's only like one set at hobby lobby right now and it's fall and it's kind of greenish and virtually okay so i'm going to put this down oh this was the pumpkin she did not make this this was purchased but i have made a lot of sweater pumpkins this was a pick from michael's last year but i think they still have them be careful of that witch's cup i wanted to show you guys this cucumber so i planted these for the first time this year they're called silver slicers and they're like whitish yellow they're really good there's not as many cucumbers on it as my other plants but i really like them i'd say they just wanted to show if you are going to plant those i would make sure you label where you plant these because this kit this color looks almost like one that's over ripe right you like a regular one so you want to make sure that you know where you plant them but they're super good cute okay go get pikachu in there love you thank you we are playing pokemon go just to keep things entertaining um i'm like six years late to the party sorry uh last night if you didn't see it we did the live two nights ago oh sorry two nights ago uh the garden question and answer uh in the front yard as opposed to the backyard it's a good thing we did that too because that neighbor was on our lawn and they were out there on their trampoline so they wouldn't have been able to hear us oh yeah only the guy with a little weenie leaf blower that's what she said in the middle of it if you didn't miss that that's okay he's got a little weenie slower [Laughter] um what else did we do this week did we go to dinner anywhere uh we had soccer practice kesh started soccer for the first time this is his first like he doesn't go to daycare or anything like that so this is his first time doing something organized by something other than somebody else besides his mom he did good i mean he had a little trouble listening at the end but he did good um what else did we go to dinner we didn't go to dinner anywhere this week we had pizza oh yeah we had lou malnati's pizza and wings and their caesar salad uh two nights ago um i went to home goods trying to find some good stuff this weekend there was nothing nothing hunter did get us some cups but we haven't gotten them from him yet oh even though we've seen him we went to the shanty my boyfriend and i went to the shane oh hi i'm divorced i have a boyfriend now if you're new to the party okay wait you are right um i feel bad like i did announce this concern [Laughter] um are you trying to kill me no went to the shanty love that place you can't see her so when she goes to bite you nobody's gonna be able to see yeah great i don't want her nearby um mom had a face time with kimberly and other people when she did just mow the lawn [Laughter] she probably did like she facetimes me in cash where the phone is just up at the ceiling he's always like i can't see you grandma i can't see you she's like okay i think that's it uneventful week uh shipped out some more charts to shops again your shops should be well they should have already received them they should be receiving them their second helping yeah their second helping uh this week so if you haven't already silent night shoot i found that box for this somebody should post it and i don't know i forgot to bring it up here uh mrs claus bakery and i can put it over to the side and i don't know um and november calendar crates do you have november calendar crates over here somebody wanted a close-up of it um december's don't pick it up december's is on the board she finished december's this is the soonest we've gotten a calendar crate to the printer i don't know if they drop dead when they got that email she's very nice all right i'll start with questions uh rebecca wanted to know how did you figure out how much is a serving for the dog food when you make it um i i did it by like how much i give them of their canned food ronnie gets i would say like an ice cream scoop of food on top of her dry food and i also put um parsley in there i forgot to tell you guys that chopped up parsley what's in it again because i just bought the chicken i picked him up this morning i did a 7 a.m grocery shopping i'm gonna i think i'm gonna you know we have that nesco cooker i would love to try to do like three of them and do a bunch of it at once but um so the bones are in it i have to get the bones out it's not a big deal but isn't bone broth what's supposed to be really good for you so wouldn't it be good for them stop licking the cucumber all right so maybe there okay so you put a whole chicken you put carrots and you put what else why is every other month here is it on a road trip no okay it's fine we'll we'll show it next week i'll show it next week unless i think of when it's already november uh sonia are oh you wanted to know what now with the dog food what's in it a chicken a carrot i put one whole chicken with the bones covered it with water two two big carrots and i cooked it for like an hour and 20 minutes that's probably too long but i just want to make sure 20 minutes before it was over with i put one trommencino that was probably about that long in there cut in three pieces you didn't do celery or anything i saw your bad for them i don't know i think it would make them smell funky i was telling her that like sometimes after they would eat their dog food that they would stink they would get gassy and they don't stink anymore so sonya aren't you doing the hometown holidays chelsea what color are you stitching it on yes i am i i did a lot of those actually i did a lot of them and i have not finished mine uh she's coming out with a new one but um i'm doing it on 28 count coffee tea dyed monaco me too and mine was double dunk so the whites because there's a lot of white with the snow and with the outlines and stuff i did uh a double dunk linda could you show a close-up of the back side of your cross please the only way we would do that like is if we were drunk i don't have any whips here because mine were finished this week so i will show mine because i'm i'm not a perfect stitcher i'm not like kimberly kimberly has very uh like you have to turn it over to see which one's the front of the back right are those do we show those already we showed those um what are you looking for the back of cross stitch oh well i have a couple whips so okay we'll show moms sure you're back um betsy i'm new to your channel and i love it where do i get the display for the calendar crates that's from hobby lobby the one you see currently that we've been showing is the same one you can get a hobby lobby but we've chalk painted it with a dry brush white um somebody did say they chalk painted it and then wiped it with a cloth you can do that as well like an old t-shirt i've used where you just kind of wipe off the that's what i would use on furniture yeah okay um oh i just saw something okay cute um jess i know you guys prefer the monaco fabric but it looks like it only comes in three colors oh my gosh that is awesome do you guys dye that black for your chalkboard charts no so we have a stash a stash and stash and stuff we used to make it in black and black monaco right but the closest thing is either 27 count linda yep which i know you can get a fat quarter shop and 28 count lugana those would be even weaves right and a stiffer fabric the two blacks that you can get you know we've tried a mom's tried a couple times to dye fabric with the gray black but you know your fabric shrinks over time and with trying to get it that that dark it would shrink the hole so if that's something that would affect your stitching i would recommend maybe switching to a 27 or the lugana all right and i know you can get the uh linda fabric f at quarter shop we used to get that from them and it feels the closest to monaco that you can get yeah in our opinion crystal uh do you have any suggestions for adding decorations to the top four can you get the top off of that one i wanted to change them seasonally but i also want them to stay up there do you think the glue dots from fat quarter shop will work or maybe magnets the top of that are you talking about the canisters yeah okay so what i would do is if i wanted it to to be interchangeable so i only had to buy one flower canister i would either have a a really thin piece of wood cut to fit the top well you'd have to have every season that you do yeah but there's a knob on there so you'd have to go around the knob unless you took the knob off and just made a flat piece of wood that's set on the top and then you could attach that with like washers and magnets or even velcro i would say make a little wreath so you could make a little wreath out of your greenery to go around and then you could glue the stuff to the wreath and the wreath would lay flat well that's what i did with this one to make everything stay on there is i put the wreath on first because you wouldn't be able to get this to stand up by itself and for like um any other see i mean you could wrap the the thing of the the little the pick of like cotton branches or leaf garland i mean it's a good idea not just like a wreath you know not a greenery wreath but whatever you're using for that season spring i mean they have those pretty greenery just adds so much to the like this what is this a boxwood around it it's great yeah so whatever you can just wrap it around it and then try to attach the things to them i don't know about the garland though because that would be floppy the wreath has the wire in it so i think you'd be better off with the wreath okay so that's our but if you have somebody handy or if you're handy and you could cut a piece of plywood to go around you could do that and glue the pieces to that and just plop that right over the handle um okay tori uh can you show a close-up of the detail in the new november calendar crate sorry we will find it maybe when i went down the basement to do that i took it off down there and i left it down there stephanie uh which one of you has the next disney trip planned and when i do we're going with my boyfriend's family in december and we got tickets to the party i'm so excited the at i'm sorry it's not a party it's after the party it's after hours mom always corrects me but i don't know i correct you everybody else corrects everybody i just want it to snow i want to see the fireworks so this week so september 29th is the last um night for the happily ever after fireworks and i really wanted to book a trip just for one night to go see the fireworks can't can't make it happen whatever so we're gonna put on our disney ears this coming week and sit down and watch a live show of the fireworks so that's the closest i can get um all right debbie i have a question too how do you just how do you secure your garlands to the top of your hutches push pins either push pins or some of them i've added two little tiny finishing nails to the corners and then i just you know make sure that it's woven around it yep little finishing nails i mean there are brad nails they're tiny tiny um janelle where will the retreat information be posted so we will always talk about it and then whoever is posting three for next year already whoever's hosting the retreat will have more information and we'll list them in the description box below once we announce it yada yada and you'll be able to so far i can tell you the months so far it's april july and october we're excited lynn are you watching big brother this year if so who do you want to win oh gosh so i started out watching it and i was watching it pretty loyally and i i don't know why but i feel such a disconnect with the people that are in it that i haven't continued to watch it and i tried to watch it again the other night and i was like [Music] i don't know why i don't like it this year that's okay maybe i'm over it oh like i'm getting over the bachelor yeah just want to remember that too it's all fake uh elizabeth yeah the bachelor impaired i'm watching bachelor in paradise just for the drama and the people there for the clout um elizabeth what is the stitch count of the fabric you prefer 28 count monaco that's what we stitch all of our stuff on but you saw her stitch on that check fabric that's lugana so she 32 and the 32 but it's not something that she prefers she prefers 28 count we stitch over two so it's the same size as a 14 count but if if you don't want to stitch on 28 and you want to stitch on 14 there's no cross stitch police gonna tell you that you're doing it wrong so right stitch what you want suzanne what has been your best selling pattern so far and is there any patterns that didn't do as well as you thought it would oh i couldn't even so i don't look at those numbers as far as best selling we only have no clue yeah i just know that when something's low i can order more that's all i do um we know that a lot of our christmas and halloween things are really popular yes yep yep but yes um a lot of people have absolutely loved the backing up the truck series lately i've seen so many of those stitched and that is what i mean we like to judge our our success on i guess is seeing all these people oh my gosh your belly hurts did you go potty yeah okay okay well you almost saw a naked kid he said his belly hurts he said that yesterday too i think he hears me say that or papa say that and he just copies so um ooh and oh did i say that that's what we like to judge our success on is seeing people stitching our designs and that android goodnight has been super um popular lately all the sunflower designs we we're just blessed we appreciate everybody stitching our designs um and how long is your growing season for the garden so um usually it's from mother's day weekend until we get our first frost which is usually like the middle to end of september i think so so now we're almost the middle of september and i've just planted cucumbers that aren't even up yet so we'll see if i get any charlotte do you have any shops in the denver area that you ship your charts to no not yet not yet prickly chestnut about a year ago priscilla made a christmas quilt tablecloth could you show us that again i think she used a walmart jelly roll gosh where is it it's with the november calendar crate i think it's upstairs i'm going to show you next week yes next week we'll show that in the november calendar craig okay that's i might go get the november i should have gone and got while she was that's all the questions i have today all right so then whips my whips were this week i finished these small for the december calendar crate i did the uh blue jar and we didn't show you yet oh that's what we have to show them hold up we gotta show you our releases this week so the first one we did show you which was the blue jar and that was a book that she found ghost stories at uh michaels the item number is on the chart where did you get that little pumpkin oh i i'm not sure i think it came from hobby lobby last year it was in a a set of like unfinished wood pieces and then i spray painted it with chalkboard paint and then she used chelsea's chest and then i put a piece of sticky board behind it so because it the face didn't show up if i just put that straight on the ribbon cute and then uh on friday yesterday we released trick or treat and this is part of the dapper do dad series i found the witch's cauldron with the legs at michael's and i added two bows to the bottom of her legs i used the chelsea's checks again in the orange and black and then the witch she's got a buffalo plaid in purple dress and her cat is stuffed in a pumpkin so those were the two releases this week okay then those were my whips and we are gonna show them that one or not how about we show them just part of it you put your hand over part of it i'll show you part of the small for the sure okay that's you'll see that we're just super early with that so you'll see that um in a couple weeks all right and then your whips or previous finishes okay so all right we'll show them this first this popped up in the etsy shop this week so this is fall sunflowers this was originally in the punch needle primitive stitcher magazine last year so they have a year exclusivity and then we get to release it as a pdf in our etsy shop at and at fat quartershop.com so fall sunflowers uh summer daisies what was the spring one spring tulips um and then it'll be winter berries uh will be the next one okay this was my first punch needle and this is a little house needleworks chart i don't remember the name of it though but i put it on a piece of barn wood and i love it punch needle is harder than it looks though we are missing out on farm girl this is the fall sampler months i'm trying to it's not fall september sorry that's also from little house nato works this was before she started stitching with me i had one more too this is just in a crate that has the garland on top of cotton branches i don't i don't think that was because well that fabric is super light yeah but i always took the lighter stuff and you took all the darker stuff i just let you have it i just love it i had one more previous finish but i don't know what i did with it that huh oh no that's we can show that now i don't know it's fine all right so then you have some i finished new finishes this is the prairie schooler santa with the bunnies that she's one stitch off on that top bunny [Laughter] why do you have to remind them you can show them the back of that and they'll just all pass off kimberly avert your eyes really it is what it is so in my bag i have now four finished ones because she needs to fully finish so josh which one should i pick now do i really only have three left which one do they want to see you stitch well i'm gonna have to start it before next week so they can't do that oh but these are my three that i have left and i think i'm going to start this one okay here's this i mean you want to show it it's fully finished i thought that i had four or five left we did two so you probably lost one in there would you finish those first right your finishes first um yeah i will i just wanted to show them a little part of this did you show them a little part of that other thing yes okay you were texting how about that are we telling what it is no for next uh months releases you'll see it this month though you'll see it at the end of this month it'll be ready for next month for my preschoolers what did i do with that other finish is the canister not in there okay so i think i finished some last week right i finished the bonus chart that comes with the sweet jar which is jars of christmas cheer right and i finished it on one of those blocks from michael's because now i got a lot and then i also finished pumpkins by season which was the bonus chart with pumpkin patch and i had found this pumpkin at um menards when we went for the thermostat that night but i've also bought this pumpkin at walmart last year so i don't know if they have them this year and i also saw it at hobby lobby so there's a couple different places that you can get that if you like the pumpkin and then all i did the rope came on it all i did was add the little black check bow and then add it to the fabric and stick it on there we left the tag on there so we got the item number i leave the tag on everything so that when you guys ask we can go back and find it oh my gosh oh we can show this right yep so the punch needle primitive stitcher magazine has started shipping i believe uh so this is the fall i saw somebody attacked buffalo plaid fall and here's the other two the spring and the summer it's all on magnets and washers so that i can switch it out if you reached out to tomorrow's heirlooms in glen ellen they also have buffalo plaid fourth of july so you could mix that one in there as well okay and then what else now oh hall boo it's super cute yes and then chelsea got me a rug what do you think piper trying to figure out these rugs so they had several sayings on them so i had to like lay them all out so i could facetime her and show pictures cash is like trying to walk all over them lay on the ground roll over i'm like oh my goodness just pick one no i like the trick or treat the best all right so then we did get some gifts i have haul again i said but it is at home i have homecoming i got a big old box of it um what is this their nails oh i've never used them they sent us some color street to try some mickey halloween socks i've never tried these i've heard about them though thank you i don't know oh she gave us some to give away oh so we'll put this in the giveaways for today yeah i think they're all the the same color these and then yeah let's see and then she sent this little kit too so we'll give i might be keeping one yes no she said for a giveaway or for keeping all right then these are the shirts there's a lizzy kate and another cake and the watch i don't think i have it so oh i mean i could use these grocery bags these are black these are the blocks do you know who these are from uh lisa lisa sent us better than diamonds thank you so much thank you thank you thank you i'm gonna wear these for my disney night i can't wait we'll send you all right then so we got four redone cups and one of them came and it was broken but i'm gonna glue it back together and i'm gonna use it for display because it's really cute and she also sent us a quilt pattern oh this is cute this is from chris with our charm squares she thinks that we could do it oh i love this cup look at the color love it she did it she said use them to start seedlings i did that with one of my moms oh my goodness living on love is that that that one's for piper this one was mine definitely chelsea's boss i was like who'd she send that one for and she's like it says you i said you need to put your reading glasses back on and reread it oh okay this one it's so pretty wow wow it says home and it is a gorgeous blue color but it is cracked just where she can glue it together like it's not multiple oh it'll be fine yep i can use super glue and it can go on the shelf so pretty did you show the dreamer one yes okay yeah that's my favorite you owe me that one because bonnie got you worse you were supposed to bring it home and you didn't wakey wakey in blue okay well you should have reminded me i'm sorry i was busy reviving giving your plants cpr well you shouldn't have skipped all right then there's some new stuff at back quarter shop uh the so happy quilt and stitch long that starts on september 22nd so we can get you ready for that so happy is one of the newer charts from lori holt so they've got the dmc thread pack thread pack for it they've got the chart so happy the this is the cross stitch she also has a quilting pattern for it uh and this i love the packaging of this vintage cloth this is called shadow it is a um 19 by 27 inch piece 25 count okay so these are gonna be giveaways today all right how many of these are we doing so you get all three you get the chart the fabric and the floss so you're ready to go six of them six yeah we're gonna do six but we'll talk about that in a minute all right and then was this oh my god i think she just broke the table uh so she made a really okay let me do it she made a really cute card she sent us some charts she sent us some beautiful stamps i don't know that we're we can't use these we keep these we're gonna use them they're stamps right but we send out a lot of stuff i know but they're beautiful um okay and then oh that's cute for harlow the boss he is the boss and then she sent us a million and one blocks so we have tiered tray tidbits uh for days the whole box is full of blocks yes thank you thank you thank you and then some charts to use yes as giveaways as giveaways you did a good job stick and he's in here thank you thank you thank you thank you lisa we appreciate this heart this is for harlow are you sure it's not for her when i picked it up off the porch i thought this has got to be blocks our mailman doesn't even come up to the front door anymore they just like dumped the stuff on the sidewalk ups i got a box two boxes from uline yesterday and they just dumped it in the middle of my driveway that's the face that i gave them uh okay so we had giveaway okay so this is the november calendar crate it wasn't in the basement it was underneath the december calendar right farm fresh camp cranberries i remember how i said i had another previous finish well we showed both of them but i apparently was asleep half the time and then the box for the stars so this is the clear container that she was talking about this is what they come in for these stars on silent night yep but show them the number um and also the number on the chart for the witch's legs people said that there's a one zero in front of yours or there's not a one zero and you have to put okay uh five five five seven two six nine i think you have to put a one zero in front of the number that's on the chart but the number that she had put on the chart is right except for there's a one zero in front of it apparently when you go to search for it yeah and it's not on the sticker so maybe that's just a trick from michael's or search halloween decor or something okay so we had giveaways last week we had the tidbits online sorry we had giveaways
