I'm reluctant to be a 'killjoy' or 'spoilsport' ... but I seriously think this one very acutely raises the issue of the limit, imposed by considerations of the safety of the general citizenry, on the tenacity with which Law-Enforcement may pursue a fugitive.
Note the innocent by-driver shortly after 11'40 going right on the grass to get outo'the way!
In this country (Britain), gunshots certainly massively ramp-up the sentence - through having a gun atall ! ... but I would expect that over there it ramps it up pretty sharply also, even though the mere possession of the gun might not be illegal. But then it will be illegal anyway if he has any previous 'felony' conviction ... if I understand US law aright.
Florida Man again, and an inbred looking peripheral is. Feed him to the pythons and be done with it.
