hello everyone welcome to jsn r installation channel today we will learn about hypothetical flat indentation scenario simulation using arcmap and arcsin hope uh this tutorial is going to be a very interesting one uh then let's begin so first open arcmap and then go to customize and then extensions and you have to check 3d analyze tools and also you have to activate 3d analyzed tools and then navigate where you have saved your data so i'm dragged this damn data and drop here so here is my uh dem data now uh we have to create a share file for auto level so for that go to uh here and then name it as auto level and select polygon as a phasor type and then you can see over here the coordinate system is unknown so we have to select current system gcs wgs 984 is my current coordinate system so then go to create features so i have to activate start editing and then create a rectangle so i'm going to create a shape file according to my name data i mean according to them area the shuffle is for auto level and then go to attribute table i am going to add a field so first i have to stop editing and then go to here and then add field and i'm going to name it as order level click ok and i'm again start editing an auto level so the lowest order level uh i mean i'm my lower lowest elevation minus six so i have just uh written here minus six about mean sea level and then uh go to search box and write polygon to raster actually i'm going to convert this shapefile as raster then polygon to raster and uh add uh water level uh shuffle as input features here and value field i am going to uh select order level as value field and output raster select a path where you want to save your file and then rename it so i'm going to name it as water level and then click save our autumn level uh raster has been generated and then go to uh arxin so navigate uh your folder where you have your file so i'm drag this file and drop here and the water level click on the dim file and go to properties and then base heights and check floating on a custom surface and then click ok so after that it looks like that and then go to scene properties and then vertical execution calculate from extent and then apply and okay so now i'm going to change the color ram then click ok the next step i'm going to do is so here is my uh water level you can see here then go to properties and then uh symbology and i'm going to give the unique value change the color [Music] then okay [Music] [Music] so click here and then animation then go to animation manager and here select a layer and then go to create and create animation keyframe here source object as order level and then click new and here keyframe layer keyframe uh so you can create a keyframe as many as you would like to have and here you have to uh give some values like specify uh how fast water level layer is going to rise up [Music] so i'm going to uh right here 10 20 30 uh 40 35 50 60 65 70 [Music] 75 18 90 100 105 and 110 this 110 actually means to the highest level that your water level can rise up then close and then [Music] click on animation controls here by duration play options so 20 seconds [Music] and then play moved i'm going to select loop forward and reverse and then play animation so you can see here your area will be inundated so the inundation scenario will be look like that [Music] so this is a very hypothetic hypothetical uh flood inundation scenario model so this is not an engineering technique all right uh in this process uh you will get an idea about flood inundation scenario based on digital elevation data for doing better flood inundation map you can use some other software like uh mike hakras and many others well i hope you have enjoyed today's video you can keep in touch by subscribing the channel and get one or two video on weekly basis stay safe and happy and have a good day [Music] you
