Flea market! Found some nice jewelry and stopped to pickup some books!

well there's a lot of people set up today on uh saturday morning hopefully uh we find something good it's definitely better than last week so all right let's see what we get our first stop thank you i'm gonna take that i got the sailboats for 10 bucks looks like san francisco 1960 morning jim david how's life going where's your camera what do you got on these two yeah three bucks all right i'll get those for three bucks about this one is it an apron no it's just a his and hers thing here he goes i didn't make it what do you get on the buttons do you have a bunch of them or yeah these would be uh three dollars for these there might be more if you hunt around or you can wait and see if any more come in stickers but these are all nice glass buttons got about six more bugs there's more art pencils here here let me demonstrate it's five dollars by the way it oh it's got two you have a watch not done yet no couldn't that beautiful artwork that's pretty cool all right so that's five and what's the other one this one is these are more usable i think maybe i'm not one's a doll all right question could you do uh on this set my buttons in the 10 10 bucks sorry and i'll take that other one for a dollar so right right so yeah all right we're good yep thank you and you're gonna need some kind of carry-all aren't you no i'm parked right there gabby makes bracelets with these here watch how you save dollar bill of the roman x uh-huh so it used to be called a what saw pun did you ever saw a piece of wood yeah they used to use that's what they caused it's like uh yeah a buck saw right well that's the buck saw and then the saw bug would be the thing that you set the log in which looked like x's so before the civil war that's what they would do and that's why they called it dixie because they used x's for a ten dollar bill uh what's a uh and a five is a fin i don't know the story today i didn't know why they called it all right who's ready for another box oh everybody i'll have to come back and see what else jim has there might be how much is that number six bill actually has a really good ring to it yeah i think i have a couple don't tell me to go around and get them don't make your special trip let's hold it back well glad i had the bags thank you all right i don't see anything else truly need i can see easter eggs on it now the cup's too big what do you get on uh these pedals find all of them brand new i got a bicycle in here i didn't put it out because i'm too lazy on this will you do five on this i do eight but not five you know that that's fancy you do seven eight seven bucks i'm cheap enough there you go got a deal that's a real good deal yeah it's a very good thing but it made me nervous because children start showing up later and i can't keep an eye on everything thanks a lot all right i'm going to get this and what do you want on the plug all right thank you now what are you doing but i just was too too shy to ask if he'd sell them to me well no i love that kind of stuff because people you obviously love that you do not want to get rid of it no that's my lucky wallet good for you anyway thank you very much thank you sure nine dollars question what do you what do you get on the little mother of pearl things like the butterfly um uh this i gotta get three three bucks yeah and this whole if you can move actually i'm supposed to move them up but i don't know if she's gonna scream because i'm taking another favor but what do you get on the buttons in here and there's buttons there's a box here when you finish there you can come around and look more it depends but what do you get on this card okay like this would be 10 i could do away right but the the big card at the bottom they have to be sold together so whichever it is just ask me and i'll tell you how much is the cards not the whole thing okay what do you get on the squares and okay these are going to be four piece okay and i'm going very happy 50 and this will be and i have that little box there's three mother of pearl things let me just see what they have over there there's a pen right here all right that's fair i'll take that you really want one i'll work with you and then my jewelry box it's going to have steel cut buttons and you know really better highest quality i'll show you these are nice three dollars what do you get on this set just wondering uh because you find that two bucks all right i'll take that set and did you say anything about this no no i do like that one see if there was any other carved celluloid kind of went with it you only had would you know if you only have one of those i wouldn't know because everything is here i understand that i know yeah and you know what it's still the same spot but she had all this stuff hey no you can see on the end it the stainless is coming through all right i guess that one's actually fun or anything no it's not for me thank you though somebody probably would make something with it it's good for crafting a lot the broken fans they're all uh the bone carved all right i guess that's it let's see what getting the mother of pearl and all the uh i guess it was celluloid buttons for uh 40 bucks um all right we'll see if we can find anything else show you what the market kind of looks like there's a bunch of people that way we got that whole side and the back row uh i think has the most people so hopefully we find uh one more good little treasure [Music] i always like the amber knobs what do you get on the amber uh 20 bucks on the center on this yep good color nice nice dark one yeah that one had the sun a bunch of pins good moony butterfly he said it's a gold wow yeah there's like the birds is there anything else maybe the flamingo all right will all right brother these four uh oh i gotta hit you in the head bro you get a good one which one was the good one no well this one's they're all good yeah the spider's fun ten bucks sounds like a plan just those two yeah they're really interesting all right thanks will yeah they're really i'll take it so i was pretty happy with everything uh picked up at the flea market got a couple cool shell butterflies these uh are huge mother of pearl carved pins this one with the little cross in the center uh good uh cut glass got some age of the ruby glass necklace some uh more buttons pretty sure these are celluloid and i know these are the nice two carved ones uh a few pins did like this picture with the sailboats for 10 bucks um i'll have to try to figure out what his signature says but it is a is a good little scene we've got jesus for five it's all hand carved don't know maybe made in italy or something but it's pretty cool and the cowbell i got for trading them for the bags uh fun colored pencils and the bike pedals either probably anything new and bike stuff probably 25 30 bucks sometimes there could be like a hundred dollars so it's always good to look up the the pedals and stuff like that when you see them um i'm gonna put those in the garden probably everything uh going good i'm running over back to the house and we're gonna go pick up some books so hopefully you guys enjoyed this video um i think light switch you can see all the books through the house there's just a ton of them um we were upstairs yesterday so i don't know today we have probably 20 boxes of books to make and uh hopefully there's some this is the kitchen i think these are all cookbooks what is it too cold it smells like silver but maybe it's just silver polish insect spray that's what i'm smelling it's kind of cool a little cat head dar wants to go check out the pond i guess there's too much left a bunch of cute little vases okay talk glasses all right go work on the books the one nice thing is they did have a ton of wine they were saying that bears fun they said they sold the wine in this uh house for over 200 000 it was 190 000 so it was almost 200 000 pretty uh just crazy most of these uh coffee table books do sell fairly well at the flea market just have to paintings of the louvre it's basically the whole cattle i wonder how much this cost printed in japan must be on the front cover nope no price i should get a book scanner i'm gonna have uh taco stacks and renee hopefully come and take a look at books and some of the other oddball things that we got here so hopefully uh hopefully they find some stuff to make some money on big van gogh book these books are really nice of course they're too big for my cigar box or my cigar box my wine box all right i'm gonna go see how i can turn this light on ended up getting box one done um definitely gonna be heavy i've hopefully uh hopefully can get 40 to 50 of these boxes done and put them on the truck i know at the at the flea market um i would say this is close to 100 worth of books plus online it's way more but definitely uh there's definitely a lot of them in the garage they had a whole spot where they had the wine bottles kept but this is a all cedar line wine chest it's mostly war i think we're gonna finish those art books first so i finished seven boxes of uh good uh coffee table books so far so my guess is that's easy 700 at the flea market um the best thing is whatever doesn't sell i'll still be able to sell as like an auction lot or something so i think i'm going to grab the cassettes and the records upstairs and that should uh fill up the truck we're losing sunlight right now but uh definitely have a lot more books to go through these boxes are working out pretty well
