Fixing my clogged basement stairs exterior drain

foreign [Music] foreign [Music] thanks for helping here is so here's the whole hole that I've done so far I wanted to show what this drain consists of you're seeing this for the first time with me it's my uh drain plugged up with dirt you might say to yourself well you know it's not a very functional drain and you'd be right if you're talking about functional for uh you know storing water but it is functional for passing code I guess they can they can get a drain in here and it will drain water for about a year and four months and then it plugs up and from then on you can't use it [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] Barrel [Music] s [Applause] I put in these rebar bars into the cement on the side and of course the reason there being that you know these things will be stuck in the cement here essentially if it's if the ground below it wants to settle over time these rebar pieces will hopefully keep it from being able to sink down it'll just stay up level with where it's supposed to be [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music]
