Fix Steam Launcher Fatal Error Failed To Connect With Local Steam Client Process

in today's video i'll be showing you how to fix the fatal error message when trying to launch a game in steam as you can see i currently have the error message on my screen at the moment when trying to launch counter strike global offensive so the first thing you need to do as the message said is just ensure steam is up to date and to do this all you need to do is select steam in the top left hand corner and then click on check for steam client updates if your steam client is already up to date like mine is you now need to press close and you then need to completely close down steam also ensure that is closed down in your system tray you have completely closed down steam you now need to restart your computer and once you have restarted your computer go ahead and launch steam as normal and see if that resolves the issue if that didn't work then the next thing you need to do is open up the start menu and you now need to type in steam you then need to click on open file location and you now need to right click on steam and go open file location again and you then need to right click on the steam.exe and go to properties you now need to select compatibility and you then need to tick run this program as an administrator and press apply and ok once you've done that you now need to go ahead and open up steam and you will then get a window saying that there's a steam error this is because we've told steam to now run as an administrator you can go ahead and press continue so once steam's open go ahead and see if that resolved the issue you're having if it didn't then the next thing you need to do is go to your library and then go to the game that you're having the issue with so for example i was having it with counter strike you now need to right click on the game and then click onto properties select local files and you then need to click on verify integrity of game files and once it's finished go ahead and launch the game and see if that resolves the issues you're facing if that didn't fix the problem then the next thing i'd advise is to uninstall steam and then install it again so that now brings me to the end of this video i hope this video helped you out and you enjoyed it if you did like the video click the like button below and if you want to see more computer sluggish videos then hit that subscribe button if you do subscribe then i will see you in the next video
