How To Fix Scum Fatal Error Crash - SCUM Crash Fixed

if you clicked on this video you're probably having troubles getting scum to open i know some people have troubles if they can open it for a certain period of time and then the game will crash me personally it'll load up you'll see the scom wings of fury version 0.7 and then this comes up you e4 scum head game has crashed fatal error click ok everything closes down don't know what to do i'm going to show you guys how to fix it so that you guys can enjoy the game i know i'm coming back after a while trying to play it again and then this happens so all we do is we come down here to the bottom left so you do percent app data percent all right and then you just click open and that will bring you here you can go back to app data i don't know if there's a different way to get there that's just do it this way click on local and then you're gonna scroll all the way down find scum and on this folder go ahead open it open save and then come down here to save files you can either right click delete just delete it with your keyboard make it go away i got to do there um another thing you guys can do is also go down open up your graphics card and or your drivers for your graphics card and go ahead and update those that's always just a good thing to do and the next thing we're going to do is we're going to go ahead open up steam you can go to library home it'll open up all the games you own have owned come all the way down to scum click on it and then it'll bring up this we go over into the settings or settings properties and then after you have the properties tab opened up you're going to click on local files and then verify integrity of game files go ahead and click yes little pop-up should show up it's going to go ahead and do this little percentage uptick thing then after that finish it should say all however many files successfully validated it can take a few minutes mine took like three minutes i'm sure can take a lot longer just depending on your pc but after that you should be able to close out of it open up scum whatever way you want since you already have this open you can click on it this will pop up just click play scum and then something might pop up you just have to accept it press yes and then let the game load up yeah if you guys remember that little screen you saw for half a second that's where mine is typically crashing but now i'm in the game you can hear everything i can join again join a server and start my own solo server everything's working i hope this really helped you out i know it's aggravating especially having to do something like this but we're not even version 1.0 yet so there will be some different errors i know the big thing with this isn't actually on scum side a lot of it is on uh unreal engine side from what i've heard but i don't completely 100 percent know i still hope this helped you guys out go ahead check out my channel see the videos i do i want to do a scum server series either with me or a friend find something to do if i keep enjoying the game but have a good day and i'll see you in the next video
