Fix Slow Performance Issue After Update On Windows 11/10 (2024) NEW*

welcome back everyone so in this video I will be explaining that how to fix the slow performance issue after update on Windows 11 or windows 10. so many people have the problem like after updating their Windows they face a lot of slow problems lot of lagging issues on their Windows operating system so let's get started I will be sharing few simple steps that you need to apply and after that once you restart the computer you will find that the lagging and the slow performance issue has been resolved once you need to click on your windows search type CMD right click on the command prompt choose run as administrator then click on yes the black window will be up now here you have to run two different command of dism and the sfc so the First Command will be dism space forward slash online space or slash cleanup Dash image space forward slash restore hell now this command will be in the description so you can simply copy and paste so once you paste it hit the enter key and the scanning will be started now this will take some time so what we can do we can minimize it and proceed with the next step so again click on your windows search type file from the suggestion click on file explorer once it comes up click on this PC from the left and menu option then click on local disk C then look for the windows folder double click on it and now here you have to look for a folder by the name software distribution so you can come to the S section keep scrolling down and you will find somewhere by the name software distribution here it is once you get it double click on it and delete all the file from here so press Ctrl a key from your keyboard everything will be selected then press the shift and the delete key from your keyboard to permanently delete all these files click on yes click on continue and once it's been deleted close it so click on your windows search again type settings click on settings from the suggestion then from the left hand menu option click on system and here you have to look for the storage option so click on storage now this will be loading all kind of your storage like what kind of space has been occupied by the temporary file the installed application now basically what happened that whenever you update your operating system there is a lot of space occupied by the old Windows installation folder so once you come up here you have to click on the temporary file now here you'll find the previous Windows installation file so you need to check this option and if you don't need the download option the item that has been downloaded check this option recycle bin if you don't need the recycle bin item like the deleted item then you can also check this option and check all the other option here then you have to click on remove file click on continue and it will take some time depending how much data has to be cleared out so what you can do you can minimize it next open the command prompt so we can still see that it's running so again we can minimize it and then click on your windows search type task from the suggestion click on task manager in the task manager you have to look for startup apps click on it added you'll find all kind of application enabled or disabled to come along with the computer now you need to find any kind of third-party application which has been enabled you will have to disable it so that it should not start with the computer so any third party application I mean like Microsoft Edge steam Discord describe OneDrive anything like that you have to disable it okay you don't have to touch any file related to audio Network or anti-virus a part of that any third-party application that you can manually open it you will have to disable it from here so it's very simple make a right click on it and then choose disable once you are done close it again click on your windows search type says DM dot CPL hit the enter key the system properties will be up now here from the top menu option click on advanced then under performance click on settings now here it will be selected to let Windows choose what best for my computer or adjust for best appearance you have to select the third option once selected check the box of show thumbnail instead of icons show Windows content while dragging and smooth edges of screen font then click on apply click on OK click on OK again again click on your windows search type settings click on setting icon and we can see it is still deleting so we have to wait and once it's been done from the left in menu option only click on personalization then click on colors and here you'll find an option of transparency effect so basically these options are for the visual effect that basically we don't need because we need the best performance so what you'll have to do you will have to disable this option once disabled from the left hand menu option only you have to click on privacy and security and here you have to disable all kind of unwanted permission so click on General disable all these four options go back click on a speech disable it again go back inking a typing personalization Diagnostic and feedback activity history you have to disable all these five top options once done you can also come to app permission and whichever you don't use you can go ahead and disable it like phone call call history messaging radios we mostly don't use this kind of services so you will have to disable them all right so once you are done with all these settings finally bring up the command prompt where we ran the command and it is still running and it may take some time but once this is completed you will have to type another command that will be sfc space forward slash scan now that command also you will be getting in the description and once that command is also completed 100 completed go ahead restart the computer and you will find that your problem has been resolved and the computer slow performance and the lagging issues has been fixed now now in case after applying all this solution still if nothing is working for you then finally you will have to uninstall the latest update that you installed on your computer so for that click on your windows search type settings click on setting app then from the left and menu option click on Windows update now here scroll down a bit and you will find an option of update history click on it then you will find uninstall update click on it again and uninstall the latest update by looking over the date here whichever you have downloaded you have to go ahead and uninstall it now this method you should only apply if none of the solution worked that I explained before so this is the final solution in case if nothing is working so that's all guys hopefully this
