I bought Nvidia 30 series and got the issue in Unreal Engine the crash issue I tried a lot of things switching project to DirectX 11 or Vulcan fixes this issue but nanite works only with DirectX 12 so this is not a solution I tried from simple to complex nothing helped finally I have found the solution GPU undervolting without lowering the frequency and recent NVIDIA drivers studio is recommended you will have no crash and lower noise from your graphic card first let's download and install recent Nvidia Studio drivers you can find the link in the video description choose your card choose the DCH driver type and studio version download it and open installer I recommend to install only drivers without other software choose custom Advanced installation option and check perform a clean installation check box recent NVIDIA drivers installed nice now download and install the MSI afterburner software for further GPU undervaulting you can find the link in the video description uncheck Riva tuner statistics server you don't need it you don't need show read me too after the first install you can't see your current GPU voltage you see Zero let's fix this via settings check start with Windows and all voltage checkboxes click OK click on yes to restart the MSI afterburner now you can see the current GPU voltage nice let's do the GPU undervolting without lowering the frequency you need to open the curve editor expand the editor window by vertical for easy setup click on the last point to see your highest GPU frequency at the highest voltage mine is 1965 megahertz use the slider to load down the whole GPU voltage frequency chart to lower frequency that you are planning to pick I decided to pick 1950 megahertz so I am lowering the chart to about 1900 megahertz let's start with voltage equal to 950 millivolts go up by line and click on point move it up to 1950. apply the settings by clicking on the proper button click again on the last point to check if everything is okay with frequency number 1950 megahertz nice so now you can save this profile click on save button and click on profile number don't forget to turn on apply it Windows startup option so your settings will be automatically applied each Windows startup testing in Unreal Engine and wow there is no crash this is the victory you can go further and find the lowest voltage for your picked frequency to do it you need to reset all settings and do all like before but with other voltage I have tried 900 875 and 850. the stable one for me is 875 millivolts so I decided to stay with GP voltage equal 875 millivolts and frequency equal 1950 megahertz after each try you need to test the new GPU settings in Unreal Engine you can check start minimized options so the MSI afterburner will not bother you each window startup that's all hope it will help you to save your health and body
