Fishing My Way To Diamond Gear In Better Minecraft

hello everyone and welcome back to some more better Minecraft last episode we built this Vineyard just out the front of our Castle Alo that we can make some delicious wine and also to go with that we also made a lovely wine Sellar which as you can see is pretty stocked up with wine but there is actually one thing that I learned between episodes if we keep this wine in the Aging Barrel it will actually turn into a stronger potion so I got a lot of these barrels just stocked up right now we're going to have to keep revisiting those just to check on them I'm not really too sure how long that's meant to take but with that little recap done it's time start moving on to today's project which is actually going to be trying to sort out our gear as you can see I'm rocking some iron armor here and I'm also rocking some stone tools as well and if we want to make some progress in this world we definitely have to upgrade to some diamond tools and probably get them Enchanted as well but of course to get some enchanted diamond tools we're going to need some diamonds and we're also going to need some XP and I think that's what I want to tackle first this episode and I mean we could go looking for dungeons maybe try find some spawners make an XP farm or I could try some fishing that's a good source of XP right all right maybe not fishing at night fishing in the day though that's a great source of XP okay time [Music] lapse well a little bit later I finally made it to level 30 which uh yep that's pretty slow getting that XP but I've also got some fishing loot here thanks to this fishing rod that we have it's actually cooking our fish for us so we got some free food but we've also got some modded fish here as well honestly I didn't know there's a fish mod in in this pack and now I kind of want to explore it and as you can see here it's the Go Fish Mod which has a bunch of different fish and also a whole bunch of different fishing rods as well oh it's also got crates too hello oh I see you actually get these from fishing oh this is very interesting so I'm guessing these are like loot crates or something right well I didn't get any in that little short fishing session maybe we need to get a better fishing rod I'm assuming luck of the sea would be helpful right now I could enchant a fishing rods try and get luck of the sea but well we don't actually have an enchanting table yet cuz for that of course we're going to need diamonds we going need bookshelves and stuff so why don't we take another trip out oh okay not here okay here should be good so if we take a trip through the ocean I think we could probably find another fishing rod cuz that's where we found this deep fry one I mean perhaps it would have been helpful if I brought a boat with me just give me one second hang on a minute did I actually explore this thing oh oh wait there's bookshelves here oh that's actually going to be really useful for later on this episode right remember this we'll come back to that later soz I'd really like to try and find a better fishing rod and I think our best bet is trying to find one of those villager boat things that we found last episode I think it was last episode anyway but I guess while we're exploring we might see some other structures too so yeah let's head out on a little adventure oh there's actually a village over there that could be worth checking out I'm not really sure this is really much of an ocean hey but who knows we could find some other useful stuff here well like more bookshelves for one thank you oh candles glass bottles mushrooms you know what I'll take the candles they'll be pretty cool in the cast right oh another wart man I guess we could use that for potions but we're actually using wine and stuff now so I probably just leave that oh hi Nadine H it's not really great trades you got anything else cool here oh is that a blacksmith wait this isn't a blacksmith copper Golem hello how do I how do we push the button oh oh wait can I craft you how do I can we like pick you up oh no oh that's so cool I mean they'd be pretty cool to have around the base right copper Golem spawn egg I mean can you craft these no I don't think so hm well I guess we'll just look into that another time meant to be looking for good fishing rods which evidently I'm probably not going to find in a village oh oceanog graa I mean this is kind of sea stuff H you know what there's a way Stone here so let's activate this and call it fishing man Ville okay we can probably come back here may we got some emeralds I've only got two in my backpack that's definitely not going to be enough I think for now let's just Venture on try and find ourselves an ocean because I think that's our best bet at a decent fishing rod all right bring you back when I find something H that's a different structure not sure I've seen one of these before I mean does it have a fishing rod that would be nice um hello is what the heck is this yep I'm definitely not jumping in there let's just uh let's just dig down for now I mean is this dangerous oh oh it's withering me yep I think we're going to leave that well alone hop back in the boat and just keep moving cuz I definitely don't fancy dying on this adventure just want to find myself a nice ocean oh this is looking quite promising though just need to L for one of those villager boats nope just a piece of grass all right turns out this isn't really much of an ocean but there's another cherry tree there so I think it' be pretty silly to not take this couple more cherry saplings are definitely welcome oh we got four out of that one yo okay I guess this Trip's been pretty worth it so far but still no good fishing rod on we go oh look at that biome oh it's like a massive wheat biome or something oh this is cool I mean you can't really see when you're walking through it but oh this is awesome there's a villager are you a fishing rod villager oh there's two oh we got a butcher and another butcher well ooh bones I'll take gold horse armor I'll take oh a sharpness one enchanted book a bit of iron golden apple oh cabbage seeds oh we'll take that as well right let's dump off some rubbish here oh that's actually really cool thank you butches not sure what you're doing with all of that but that is pretty awesome all right just get back in the boat as beautiful as this biome is it's not very fun to walk through tell you what though let's take a little fly up and look at what this biome looks like from the air oh yeah this biome is so good definitely think have to come back here and do some building oh look at these trees right next to here as well these are nice is that like apples in the trees yeah this is a nice biome too right not down the coordinates so we can come back here at some point I think this will be a nice place to build in the future right oh I'm thinking about it if anyone has any ideas for stuff to build in this area well you know what to do leave it in the comments cuz I think this is such a nice spot right I mean look at that over there as well oh this is really nice too you know look at all these different tree types that's awesome okay this is slowly delving into just random exploration so I've looking for a fishing rod but I mean this is pretty fun right oh spawner oh witch spawner oh okay this area really is awesome imagine like a witch XP farm that could be pretty sweet you know what I could really do it finding a way Stone and putting around in this area right I wish I took that one from the other village now but it's fine I got the coordinates looks like we potentially found another ocean here so another chance at a boat well there's smoke over there oh yo look at that house that's so cute oh this might be my favorite structure we found so far look at that that's a lovely build yo look at this it's like a fully done up base wait I hear someone in there hello I heard come on rustling are they upstairs in the Attic no oh efficiency for book oh yes look at that I mean ignore Bane of Arthropods but uh hey we'll take an efficiency fall book oh wait rabbit hide we need that more books some leather oh more rabbit hide if you remember last episode we need that to make our last bit of the vinery clothing thing I hear a villager somewhere like where are they maybe around the back oh Vagabond hello sir ooh oh you got some weird trades 48 blocks of copper for some gold boot yeah not too sure about that one buddy I think we'll leave your trades alone but I love your house this is so awesome oh wait white grap BST do we have those I'm not sure but I'm going to take the seeds though well this Trip's been so worth it even though we've not got what we came for inventory is getting a little bit full now though so I think I'm going to start heading back towards base maybe just cut my losses on the whole fishing rod thing but I guess I can loop back around maybe try find something cool and if I do I'll bring you back and if I don't well I'll see you back at the castle oh I stumbled across another Village here apparently we have a coconut tree yo that's cool can we get a sapling from this guy oh oh coconut seed yep we're definitely taking that and also I've spotted oh look at this tomato Vine oh but the inventory is just so full right now oh but there we are tomato seed this might come in handy at some point I think there's lots of different food we can cook in this mob pack so it be cool to explore some of that stuff oh Way Stone oh yes oh this is so good let's call this jungle Village cuz this is actually really close to that cool wheat biome that I wanted to build in so we got a quick way back over here and also we got a quick way home as well but before we go I do want to explore this Village a little bit we got one of these Bounty boards here they rewards for this aren't exactly great yep not too interested in that and honestly not really too interested in this Village either not really that much of Interest here organic compost I mean to be fair I don't even know what this is can you do anything cool with it um honestly I'm not really too sure what rich soil I guess we'll take it and you know what I never say no to book TRS come with me oh look at that 59 books from this adventure okay this was defin worth it but before I spend this entire episode just exploring probably a good idea if we just head back home now which is nice and easy thanks to the way Stone and just like that we've made it back home now I need to spend a little bit of time sorting out my inventory here as Al my backpack is completely full and I think honestly the best way to get a good fishing rod is probably to enchant or just spend some more time fishing and try and get a decent fishing rod that way but I got 30 levels so enchan is probably the way to go for this and I think rather than going caving I'm probably just going to be doing a little bit of strip mining soz we come back over this way I got a pretty cool idea for what we can do for a mine entrance I think somewhere on this hill here I want to try and build some sort of dungeon entrance maybe make some prisons under the castle and have that sort of act as our mine entrance right you know what I think I'm just going to free cam here try to find a good spot for this to go you know what over this way seems pretty good over by a sheep pen and a sort of temperary messy area but yeah we've all seen strip Min number before we know how it goes so with that the next time you see me I'm going to have a completely clean inventory and hopefully I would have found a diamond so I think for an ining table we're going to need at least five cuz of course we're going to need a diamond pickaxe to mine some obsidian as well but without further Ado let's get all that [Music] done oh I'm just digging the tunnel down and look at this first diamonds definitely had to bring you guys back to mine these yo let's go oh it's three as well oh that is so good still not near the bottom of the world yet but I am slowly making my way down and I got to say with a VIN Miner mod this is just so much easier now anyway see you want to get more diamonds and just like that oh yeah we got our next diamonds and thank you oh six diamonds in total now oh so good oh okay that could have been dangerous oh wait is this a Cave opening I suppose we could take a little look definitely fill in this lava though oh here we are first Redstone oh it's the loot Goblin the cave Goblin take my gold oh I need a luck of the C3 book for luck of the C5 oh well the OD of this guy being a fishing rod dude well I should probably go get my raw iron I left that back over this way I've only got two brilliant still we can double our iron with this guy don't if you remember him from the first episode where are you buddy even more Rion oh please come back there he is yes free Iron thank you oh such a shame about the fishing rods but you can't win them all and quite frankly this cave is just terrible does this even lead anywhere to a zombie yep not really what I'm looking for me like a dungeon or a spawner would be cool though right or a dead end well okay not the caving experience I wanted but we did find our Goblin Trader so you know what I'm not going to complain but all right while I'm down here I might do a little bit more strip mining so I got all these pickaxes to get through and I got a place to store all my stuff so once I got through all these we can head back up to the castle and make our enchanting setup all right see you soon and just like that I've gone through all my stone pickaxes well and even better news than that we got some diamonds there we got some diamonds down there we got some diamonds here and some more down there as well now we've already got six diamonds here so I think we're going to make ourselves our first diamond pickaxe there we go and with that we're going to need to get some obsidian now thankfully in my backpack I do have a bucket of water so this should be pretty easy I think please no please no come on let me out well this is going well oh wait it says I got a gravestone does that mean I don't lose my items oh please be real please don't let me lose my items got my backpack and everything all right make a pickaxe just in case oh what an absolute nightmare I really hope this gravestone thing works didn't I just say getting obsidian should be nice and easy yeah oh there's the gravestone what do I do um well hang on a minute let's maybe just try block off the lava right this would be the smart thing to do do I just break it no right click it oh oh I've got all my items back okay everything's fine let's maybe be a little bit more careful this time just place down our water and we should be able to vein mine this right I think please should save me quite a bit time yes oh 30 obsidian and one okay right yeah just reconfirming that I love ban Miner right let's get out of here and make an enchanting table just going have to grab myself a little bit of wood and grab our books I think we got some more in here as well and now yes we can make the enchanting table let's go right I also want to make a whole ton of bookshelves too oh all right well now we have all these Walnut Palisades we'll just dump these in here and pretend it never happened but here we go a whole bunch of bookshelves I mean 25 I'm pretty sure that's more than enough now I just need to find a spot to put the enchantment thing itself I mean here seems like a good spot we also have space in here as well um yeah you know what I think we're just going to go here so let's get a r of bookshelves around maybe something like this and just a few more for some decoration why not that should get us to level 30 I think yes oh oh my XP oh did I lose XP when I died oh I mean that would make sense I didn't get to keep all my items um BR no oh I guess this means only one thing oh I'm going to have to do do some more fishing well we know what I should do though is maybe repair this fishing rod I'm breaking three in deep fry I'm sure this will cost me a few levels but oh I need two I actually got this the last time I fished all right fishing Montage two of the day let's [Music] go all right I've had to bring you back in look what's just happened ultimate fishing reward fish up a diamond crate fish up a diamond crate the ultimate reward for any kind of Fisher I'm not just any kind of Fisher I'm the best and look at this diamond crate shift click to open I've also got a wooden supply Crate I think that is an iron one an Asal crate and then of course this diamond one now on nowhere near 30 levels yet but you know what I cannot wait any longer to open these crates so let's actually just come to the vineyard and dump off some of this fish stuff cuz I'm pretty sure this is going to give us some items and here we go we're going to start with the wood one oh it's giv us some beetroot some wheat and some carrots okay the iron one okay seaweed we got some gold Some Coal I mean that's not great either right the astral crate Galaxy starfish Starry salmon what is this some iron as well oh you can use this stuff to make some different food oh I guess that's like really good food or something all right and the diamond one oh bottles of XP that's actually pretty good I think it gave us some iron and some gold as well huh well guess that is actually pretty cool we'll just dump all of this in here for now and I'll continue fishing up to level 30 oh this is going to take a [Music] while and um yeah I fished so long it's winter now I actually completely forgot there were seasons in this mod pack and look at this all fishing spot it's all frozen over I've actually been having to walk out here into the ice and just fish in this last little remaining spot of water which has proved to be quite interesting but also you see here I've got a whole bunch more crates and I also managed to upgrade my fishing rods we've got mending and lure on this thing too that's been a big help getting some XP and with you look at that I've also got 34 levels now originally I did want levels to actually enchant a fishing rod but I mean this thing's already pretty good we just need luck of the sea and I kind of think the best way to do that is to actually just keep fishing we're eventually going to get that on a fishing rod some but obviously now at this point we're going to need to find a new way to do some fishing cuz uh well this is going to be completely frozen over pretty soon but don't you worry I have a little idea for that which I think we're going to get to in a little bit because first of all I actually want to open all these crates and you know what we're just going to Quick fire this are we ready oh stuff flying everywhere um oh we got stuff got some iron some iron some iron Some Coal what's this on the floor here some emeralds okay this is pretty cool I suppose Golden Apple that stuff can just despawn well saying that iron sword that's actually better than what I have probably take that oh but these crates are pretty cool was kind of hoping for some more diamonds but uh yeah that's okay but I think at this point I'm ready to start enchanting let's just dump this stuff in here for now I'll tidy this up later probably probably not oh wait I'm going to need my lapis which I'm pretty sure I've left down in the mines all right give me one second thank you all right here we go ready to enchant our first pickaxe we'll get that in there with our lapis and we're going to get efficiency 4 but what are we going to get with it here we go we got the enchanter achievement Unbreaking and efficiency H is it worth disenchanting this and giving it another go we us to have 31 levels do I have a grindstone in here uh I don't think so let's quickly make one of these and I guess we'll just slap this down in here by the enchanting table well that is a good work pick but I would really like Fortune so we're going to give it another go all right efficiency 4 again and fortune 3 okay it's worse than what I had that probably serves me right oh but look at that the lapis floats around in the table that's pretty nice oh I guess I'll just keep that there right that of leaves me needing some more XP now and not really a good way to fish so I'm thinking we could make a little AFK fish farm cuz we have that building over there at the vineyard so that probably be a pretty good spot to build it oh yeah we got plenty of room in here and I don't think water should freeze cuz this is covered right yeah I think we're going to be good right so AFK fish farm and then some AFK fishing all right see you soon [Music] and after a little bit longer than I care to admit well we're up to 37 levels now and we got a whole bunch of loot too including some more crates yo look at this yep we're definitely opening these we also got some enchanted books as well an efficiency four book that's good fire protection that could come in handy for some armor oh and a look at the C3 book oh that can go on our fishing rods right we'll definitely take this with us that's definitely going on there but with our 37 levels I do want to take another shot at Fortune three once I get that on the pickaxe I can go back down to the mine oh what um our Castle's been invaded what the heck get out of here oh get out my castle please leave thank you get out oh I'm slow okay don't die don't die don't die close the door eat some fish what the heck are those things well they may be like all icy and slow oh how about this one oh right one final guy one final push get out of here and okay we have bad Omen I do have some milk in my backpack so this should take care of that there we go and it's like nothing ever happened just got to take the enchantments off of this one and fortune 3 please efficiency three and just efficiency three yay all right efficiency 4 and Fortune 2 I mean I guess I'll take it h you know what it's better than nothing I think we can to use this to mine our diamonds right all right so we got a patch right here which gave us four we got another patch here or this look like a bigger one or up to 16 and here we go again up to 22 and our final patch is right down the end here and this will bring us to a total of 31 okay right I'm pretty sure that's enough for a full set of diamond armor which I do really want to try and get today in the future I do want to explore some structures and some of them are pretty dangerous so we got helmet chest plate we got leggings and we can make boots oh and seven diamonds left too all right let's cover ourselves in diamonds and I guess we can enchant one of these pieces we do have 32 levels so let's actually take all these off and see what we can get on this fire protection on the boots protection 3 on the helmet protection 3 on the chest plate and I guess it's the same for the leggings too all fire protection 3 um you know what I'm going to go with the boots hopefully we get some feather falling that would be nice okay just fire protection three that's actually pretty bad now I can easily get XP now from the fish farm so I think I'm probably going to do that but before I do I think I'm open up these crates first so let me just do that all right we're already overflowing with just absolute junk but now we have our gold crates oh golden carrots that's actually pretty good yeah we'll keep those on us for sure then we got two Diamond crates oh some more XP another Golden Apple Gold lapis yeah that's all good stuff you know I'm really going to have to sort these chests out between episodes oh wait XP bottles I should just do this they got another shot enchanting the armor and I think I'm going to go with a chest plate fire protection four is pretty decent let just fire protection 4 again what is this enchanting luck all right some of this might end up getting re-enchanted I'm not too sure all right one last thing before I get some more XP let's check luck of the sea on our fishing rod that way we should get some better Loot and yeah I'll see you when I got some more levels and a little bit later 34 levels a whole bunch of more loot which I think I'm just going to deal with a little bit later maybe we'll open those crates at the end of the episode because right now I just want to get this armor Enchanted and finally crack on with some building so let's enchant our helmet with protection three oh and Agra finish that's pretty good and then on our leggings we got protection four and Unbreaking three okay those two honestly not too bad now I have planned on building a little fishing dock down here which might prove a little bit difficult and a little bit pointless considering this is all Frozen now but winter should end at some point soon I think so I'm going to go ahead and get that all built just once again I got to collect a little bit more wood first thank you right this should be enough I think plus with what I already have over at the storage room I think it's finally time to I think it's finally time to start doing some building let's do [Music] it oh yeah I can't really fish cuz of all the ice well I mean this fishing dog is a little bit pointless for now but I mean hey look at this this is pretty cute right we got a nice little house here to store all our fishing Goods which um yeah I'll get the inside of this done between me an episodes or something classic me not done the interior but for now we got a bunch of chest and details here on the dock so this will be used to storing all our fishy items we got a nice little seat on the end here just so we can be nice and comfortable while we fish and soon as I made all those ballast rades by accident earlier this episode I used some of them here to make sort of a retaining wall I think overall this gives a nice little effect I've also got it round over on this side here as well hey but overall I think this is pretty cool sweet rhyme and I know obviously we just built the AFK fish farm thing over there but I don't really want to use that all the time I mean it's good to use while it's winter and we can't fish in the lake so I think I'm going to make a rule we can only use that in winter time cuz let's be honest it's a little bit overpowered isn't it oh there's also something else that I noticed over here Winter's giv us weeds in our crop field now oh it actually does give us weeds wait is this a winter thing says it grows in Spring honestly I'm not too sure we do have weed spreading in our crop field now I'm not sure if I meant to like maintain this or something but I mean for now sprinkled in it does actually look pretty cool so we'll just uh sprinkle some of these around I suppose now one more thing I need to do between episodes just connect up The Path here so remember to do that because well I'm running out of time for this episode and there's still one more project that we have to do today and that's come over here and build out the dungeon area now I think all I really want to do here is sort of build like a stone Entry Way obviously try and keep the same pallet as the castle with all the Limestone and then I want to come inside here and just sort of build some prison cells you know make it all Stone in here we can use iron fences for the cell doors yeah I think this is going to be pretty cool you know now all the stone and stuff I'm pretty sure I'm going to have I'm not too sure how much Limestone I have left though oh yeah we got quite a bit of this actually yeah is all going to be fine so let's just grab all of this I'm not too sure how much we're really going to need and just in case let's take the stone cutter as well oh and wait actually why didn't we craft some iron fences for the front as well this might end up looking cool now I think we're going to build up the entrance here together then I'll go away and get the cells figured out cuz I'm not really too sure how I actually want to do those yet but let's just start with like a stone thing around the entrance here so maybe get rid of this as well get some more Limestone back here and let's track in some stairs in the corner so we get a nice little Archway and then maybe here is where we could bring in some iron bar if we bring them down like here and then one more layer that's kind of going to look like a raised gate right just got to fill in these ugly gaps now what I think might be actually quite nice is to extend this out a couple of blocks on each side so let's come up like this maybe get a stair at the top there let's check our iron bars as like a little window and just repeat the same thing on the other side yes it's looking pretty good pretty good now I think rather than doing like a pointy roof on this soort like we have on these buildings here on the castle let's actually plunk our stone cutter down so we can grab a few of these slabs and let's maybe try and make some sort of turret type thing G so we got upside down stairs there we're going to get slabs on top of these just like this and then think we might need to get slabs in these gaps here as well oh yeah that's looking pretty cool yes I like it now all I really want to do from here is just sort of blend this into the terrain just fill in some of this section like that and just sprinking a little bit more Stone and annoyingly I just need one more slab to go oh actually I need two need one there and one there and I think that is the entrance way done NOP wait of course I'm missing one more slab there we go nice I'm really liking this I know it's pretty simple but I kind of feel like that's just all it needs I don't really want to go overboard with the builds in this world I mean as you can see from looking around we're trying to keep things pretty simple we well of course get like a path and stuff out here as well but this path here will connect up around here and try and Link it up to the farm and I haven't really done too much over here yet I'll probably get that done between episodes 2 I guess it'll make sense to come around by the sugarcane maybe dig out a little bit of this hill but yeah next up I just need to sort out the prison cells maybe try cover up this big hole and I think I'm probably going to be have to fit maybe like four prison cells in here I mean honestly they not going to be anything special it's just a prison cell but yeah give me a second to get that done and I'll see you soon and here we are the finished dungeon we got it all sorted and as you can see I've got my little prisoners in here that's right my plan all along was to make a dungeon for my animals hey I actually think this is a pretty cool idea we got iron doors here so we can get into breed our cows and of course we have the same for the Sheep as well and then down here is actually our mine yeah overall I mean this is pretty silly build but I don't know I like it that sheep Looking For Freedom nope you're staying in there forever but I also actually did go ahead and get the pass connected up you can see it just leads by the sugarcane here and then connects up to the vineyard and they also connected up The Path down to the fishing dock as well so overall our area starting to take shape a little bit now obviously still a whole ton of work to do but that's okay now there is a couple more things that we need to do this episode and the first of those things is to head down into the wine cellar and just check on our aging wine I mean this still just says instant health I think it's meant to change to instant Health 2 so I guess that's still maturing we'll check on that another episode and lastly we just need to head to the AFK fish farm cuz I think there's some crates to open in here oh yeah look at this we got six Diamond crates we've also got this sharpness four book and a fortune three book what the chances of that okay you know we'll save the books for next episode but what we'll do is open these Diamond crates cuz I mean honestly these are pretty much the only ones that are given us stuff that's pretty useful just going to dump all this junk first and here we go Diamond crates oh we got diamonds out of B yo some more XP protection sharpness three book that's pretty good oh an enchanted golden apple oh these crates are actually so op not too sure what it's doing giving us some fish but uh look at all this this is so good but
