Fishing In NEW SMYRNA After HURRICANE IAN

the water's still murky from the hurricane that we just had but it's hard to see the mullet but I was just kind of blindcasting him the bucket oh there goes one foreign what's up everybody Welcome Back the plan is just to hit some docks I got some live shrimp I had to stop for some mullet because you always got to have that just in case um probably got about a dozen mullet so we'll hit these dogs and see what we can hook up into I'm gonna start with a live mullet right now throw right here by the by the mangroves see if there's a snook or something hiding [Applause] foreign hooking them up under the anal fin so he swims away from us all right let's try that foreign away from us try to get him in the mangroves he freaked out but I don't know if that's a fish or he's just feeling the hook I think so all right let's try this shrimp out now the live mother hanging out the back just trolling it while I move down the canal see if something will eat it maybe a tarpon jacks we just throw this shrimp can't go wrong with fishing shrimps anything you're going to eat that so even this is even if it's small mangroves little Jacks anything as long as we get on some fish today I knew the fishing was probably going to be tough but I didn't think it was going to be this bad I haven't even got no pin fisherman there we go first little fish finally broke the eyes oh wow it's a little Snook tiny little Snook a micro a nice little Snook one day is gonna be 40 plus inches there we go it's a nicer fish go ahead it's a big old pinfish I think it's probably the biggest Tempest I've ever seen in my life the size of my hand imagine this thing offshore there he goes there would be two huge manatees right here I don't know if you guys can see them in the camera just hanging out all right move from the docks try to catch in some little mangroves by the by the mangroves see if we can find anything here the dog bite was wasn't that great it's got you a lot of little pin fish nothing too good oh there's a bed already [Music] I already ate it oh there it is there you go little Jack [Music] as well that thing Computing the shrimp getting it right behind the tail all right by the tail you just throw it out there smallest fish out weight 25 pound leader right there by the mangroves and it goes already I don't think I was messing with it [Music] so I already took it all right School of Jax but if I catch one more if it bites like that I'm gonna make a little move I'm trying to waste my shrimp on them that's not good either when you have dolphins swimming right by you you're trying to catch fish [Music] there we go see what it is trying to get them in before this trip thank you got them in before the Dolphins got him a tiny little Mangrove though not a keeper but I'll probably still move because he's just gonna be trying to eat them all the time let's get out of here get away from the dolphin [Music] hello Jack what's up Big Jack nice little Jack a little live mode nice little Jack really good kind of dirty little Jack sorry damn he hammered it I was never expecting that I almost lost my rod it's always fun catching a fish on artificial I'm more of a light bait kind of person but I'm trying to switch it up a little bit look at that he wanted that thing so it's always good well it always makes me feel good whenever I catch something on artificial too big but it's fun to catch a little snug on a swim bait no way foreign they're everywhere today but we can't find the big ones but this is nice to find some small ones you know that they're having babies out here all right that's the end of that yesterday was a pretty slow day I blame it on all the fresh water in here from the hurricane so hope you guys enjoyed it a few of the catches I had today nothing crazy in the morning it was nice but small small stuff and then I hooked up to these bigger Jacks that was fun to catch so like comment subscribe see you on the next one
