FIRST TIME USING VELOCITY MODE IN THE HERMES MCLAREN SPEEDTAIL! || Manny Khoshbin

hi guys welcome back to my channel oh you taking out the four gt today no actually i'm taking my speed tail to put gas in it for the first time ever so i got to move the ford gt and i don't know where to move it to i'm running out of room i can't wait to move to the new monkey man this is painful hey where's your mess sure on oh it's getting serviced and it's getting dropped off very shortly which ah you bring a good point where am i gonna put the shoe on problems problem problems okay let's put one thing at a time one part at a time we let it run a little bit it's not going to turn the car on and off immediately you got to let it warm up get the temperature of oil water up there otherwise uh you'll have a lot of built-in and cause major problems online all right these are the most unsophisticated booty mechanism just works with a rubber band and a spring go figure by works one of the nice things that this car has is a wireless charger so i don't need to unplug there's a little grip here oh my god almost pull the muscle this car should come with a 10-minute yoga like instruction before you get in all right let's fire it up [Music] wow it says zero miles range i'm gonna have to drive this thing in electric mode does it have electric mode oh like so never mind that's a p19 [Music] all right guys you know the drill it's time to warm up those tires all right we have 73 miles on the car and i don't know does this car need to be broken into like the ford gt i doubt it i think mclaren already runs their engines before they you know deliver the car i'm hoping otherwise i would have told you right so after we put gas and the tires are warm we may be able to you know push it a little bit and see what the car can do this car is the fastest car i have in my fleet zero to 200 miles an hour and that's a little over 11 seconds that takes the car go from zero to 200 miles an hour that's mind-boggling but it does it all that faster than a bugatti chiron and he's so quiet while doing that it's crazy to think this car can do zero to 250 miles an hour with three passengers and i love the lift system on this one is so much easier than the p1 it's just one click p1 you got to go through the menu click on the left and then put the lever up i don't know i adore this car so much it almost makes me too nervous to drive it all right let's turn off the engine and now i've got to find out the gas cap i think i should stay in here so i don't scratch yeah yeah yeah please don't move yeah yeah nate hold up don't go on over well i can't open the gas tank there's no buttons calling my mclaren sales person hey nick how you doing i'm at the gas station trying to put gas in my speed tail but the gas cap doesn't open and i don't see any buttons what's the secret well they should put a little pointer somewhere but it's all good now all right all right let me feed the bees thanks nick all right bye all right we're good what happened well you gotta press it all the way on the corner away from the driver and i didn't wear the hinges you know it's hard so i was pressing all over the place but all in the wrong places all right let's feed the piece all right i gotta take to warming those tires feels so weird to be in the center of the car you haven't tried a velocity mode have you no didn't we try no not yet come on let's go neutral pull the brakes now [Music] there it to velocity mode yeah velocity mode's on really yes it's right there next to the p top left uh yeah i see it there we go yeah right there on both sides so wow okay that wasn't fun all right back to warming those tires whoa all right i'm feeling it tire pressure is good gas tanks feeling great velocity mode is in and the tires are warming up guys whoa easy tiger did you feel that man the car went airborne you know what i got my glasses i can't see okay that's not good wow this car is interesting i couldn't come up with a better word that's weird it's just weird right yeah it's where it doesn't it doesn't show the rpm no i can't really tell who's next to me it takes a while getting used to well i'm gonna grow a long neck driving this car yes all right you guys ready wow oh that was quick right that was cool but there's got to be a different button you can push to go quicker no i want to go quick here there's always something else it doesn't seem that quick i think you're shifting too early because yeah well that plus the car is so quiet yeah you're doing amazing acceleration hey what's up thank you right well it doesn't show the rpm [Music] it is fast but [Music] see the brakes very nice i don't know what to think about this car i'm very confused every time i drive this car it's got a lot of power but it's so smooth which is usually doesn't go together right and then you're sitting in the middle of the car and you can't really feel comfortable with your view let me open my eyes they should also have a little tv here to show direct view of your back yeah there's no rear view mirror no i can't even see who's behind me right now you know what i mean yeah makes me nervous you know i bet you one of these could be that i looked it up you can only see the back if you put it in reverse yeah it's a fun car but in a weird way and it's too smooth i don't know i mean if i'm taking a car out the only thing i have to admit is a show stopper almost with the doors open i mean 17 feet of beauty yeah it's like a gorgeous woman wearing a long gown it's just dressed so well that will take the cake but if that's the only reason you want to take cars out to take pictures well the speed tail definitely is a car but i like to go for a little thrill you see how smooth it is yeah it's too perfect more great everything works great on it except the charger wow this thing's a cheetah the forget is a goat is a cheetah mclaren p1 i would say is a groundhog i don't know greyhound [Music] oh yeah this thing corners amazing wow that actually does right yeah it feels so light now have we done it launch controlling this no is there launch control here of course it is the fastest mclaren ever doesn't have a launch control hello hey one more question does this car have launch control no what i don't believe so the fastest my clear car they therefore the launch control what's the finding that so do i just i guess floor it in velocity mode to see the fastest zero to 60 i'm uh i'm looking at the owner's manual right now and there's no list of the launch controller yeah it's okay i'll just i'll just drive it regularly and i'm just getting the fluids going [Music] oh my god did you guys hear that oh man oh man i hope you got that on camera oh whoops my shoe runs here two rms cars out in one day it's a good day this car has cruise control but doesn't have a launch control what's going on this car is an absolute beast it is too smooth but hey that by itself is unique too for a super car that's faster than a bugatti zero to 200 miles an hour and you got to be patient with it 36 percent 37 percent we're taking it out of velocity mode because the left doesn't work in velocity mode so we can get into this driveway put my shirana messy in there and i put this sweet tail lemons in there and then go for lunch [Music] the doors are gorgeous i love all that entry look at this blue so gorgeous i wonder if my other mclaren blue is the same color we should put him side by side that's it after this video i'm taking a vacation here we go 75 percent great success and just like that half of your day is gone i got one last car to bring in and then i'm going to
