FIRST DAY OF LAW SCHOOL 2L | LAW SCHOOL VLOG 39

[Applause] hey guys welcome to my first law school vlog of my second year of law school we've all been waiting for this moment basically since my last law school blog I guess because half of you disappeared this summer and didn't even watch my videos so you missed out on a lot if you're only watching my law school blogs but I'm glad you're back if you're back I have class at 9:30 but I want to leave like super early today just so I can try to get decent parking because the option the parking options at my school are not the best there's like a parking garage but that fills up like before 9 o'clock and then if you don't get a spot in the parking garage you have to park all the way down this huge hill which I don't want to do so today's class schedule is I have advanced appellate advocacy from 9:30 to 11:00 and then I have a break until 2 and then from 2 to 3 55 I have Criminal Procedure and then from 4 to 5:30 I have Professional Responsibility so it's a very very busy and loaded day today I have like a thousand books that I need to bring with me which sucks because they don't even all fit in my backpack so I'm gonna have to leave like my afternoon books in the car and then go back to my car to get them because for Professional Responsibility we have two books and then Triple A which is advanced appellate advocacy so whenever you hear me say Triple A that's what I'm referring to that's just what we call it at my school um in triple-a I have but I am ready to go I'm wearing an outfit I've worn a thousand times probably in my vlogs but it's just it's all that fits me I'm so bloated guys I talked about this my other blog that I'm a human garbage can today starts the day of my diet and I know a lot of people are offended by the word diet so if you're offended by the word diet you're gonna have to click out because that's what it is you know anybody to like eat healthy and stop being a trash can already so for the outfit necklace is from forever 21 shirt is from H&M these are like the best plain t-shirts whose they're like super stretchy and they're just the best and then my pants are from Primark they're just the ones that have like this brown and tan pattern and then I'm wearing my bow sandals that are from like a random store that I wear all the time and just my usual bracelet set up I always get so many questions that go do you have to dress up for class or you have to wear business casual clothes or anything like that you definitely don't have to and this is like this is just what I like to wear i stuff like this the pants I mean I wouldn't ever wear a blazer to class or anything like that but this is not really in my books considered business casual this is just kind of like an outfit I like but you don't have to wear business casual but I will say usually like the first week or so of law school or anything really people will dress up a little more and put more effort in but that's just because that's like what people do like in high school middle school that's just what you do and then eventually people go back to wearing leggings I would never ever wear sweat pants to school but that's just a personal thing I'm going to order some iced coffee on the Dunkin app and then I'm gonna be on my merry little way so I'll probably catch you in the car I did not get the parking I had to park all the way down the massive Hill that's not good but actually oh yeah say 25 minutes until class starts and it could take about ten minutes to walk there so I will talk to you guys later [Music] you hey guys I've been out of my first class for a little while I just okay so my first class was advanced palate advocacy as I said and basically it's just kind of like an intro to the class today we went kind of over oral arguments we have to do and assignments and stuff like that and like won all the due dates for a brief and whatever it's pretty you know general class sweating it is so hot I have to go to my car because I didn't take all of my books with me because I just have way too many to take with me at one time but I had to park down the hill of death which I think I showed you this is just the worst Hill because it's so steep and it's just so far away from everything so I'm going to see if I can find parking up back in the parking garage because a lot of people leave campus in between like morning and afternoon classes although a lot of people come to campus for like 12 o'clock class so hopefully I can find a spot up here so I don't have to walk down this hill at 5:30 so I just want to tell you all that I'm having a good day I guess huh so far I mean it's not like I'm anything oh the AC isn't on that's why I'm dying all right I have to find a parking spot so I will talk to all later [Music] into the am tired my contacts are so dry I need to take about really like this alright just went home I'm going to shovel dinner in time now which is pasta with Turkey so I mean it's like relatively healthy you know what it's like 10 times saltier than what I've been eating so gonna eat that welcome at your place wake up at my same question always I'm getting tired we could have breakfast kinda your friend all righty guys just finished eating I ate dinner in like half a second but I have to ship my Warby Parker box tomorrow so I wanted to I figured while filming show you the glasses and like last time you guys can tell me which ones you'd like to because that turned out really well and you guys picked out glasses that I would personally never pick out those round ones and it just went over really well let me move this you don't have to see my air conditioner like last time I'm gonna try them on and you're gonna have to tell me which ones you like the best I picked out some really different ones this time because I wear my glasses like an accessory which is kind of like what I use like I literally can't see without glasses I do use them as an accessory so I wanted to try some like new styles so this is the first one and these are called the Lucy I did pick like a clear frame so very different for me these are the hues in the large size there's a regular and a large I love these okay they might be kind of huge on some people or maybe on me too but I really love them so these are the hues large these are the Brady and they have like the two-toned I don't think I really like these I feel like they're too um low on my nose I would need them like up here because when they're down here like can't really see these are another clear one and these are the barns which are very similar to the Lucy I don't like these these feel like they give me evil old grandma vibes like from a movie so I'm not a fan of that it's never mind these are the Chamberlain oh so these are the ones I I wore today or I that I usually wear but I order these in like the two tone to see if I like the two-toned and I kind of do they're like a little different so let me know down below which one is your favorite I just like write the name or whatever but I I loved the Chamberlain's that's what I always wear but I love the hughes large um but if you've never heard of Warby Parker which I'm sure you had I did a video with them last year like you know October like January yourself it's a glasses company that is online and they also have a few in store locations but they send you five different pairs that you choose and then you can try them on for free at your house figure out which ones you like and you send them back and then you pick out whichever ones you like and the great part is that they are only or they start at $95 which if you're a glasses wearer like me very cheap they're anti glare and anti scratch which is amazing because if you have ever purchased glasses that don't have the anti glare like little film on them it is so bad I did used to have it a pair of glasses that like didn't have the anti glare I couldn't see anything like I couldn't read my computer I couldn't see past lights because it was just like flashing back in my eyes so you definitely want the anti glare let me tell you another great part of worry Parker which I love companies like this when you buy a pair of glasses they get a pair of glasses to someone in need which is really great because if you think about it I'm actually learning about this in my health law class there are people in America like don't even you don't even have to think like so far away there's evil in America that can't see because they have new glasses but they don't have the money to get glasses or to see an optometrist to get glasses so they're just walking they're just walking around like not being able to see and I can't imagine the pain they're probably in it because when I don't have my glasses on or contacts in like it's such a headache so that is just so sad so it's great that they donate a pair of glasses for every person that buys a pair of glasses from them if you happen to have an iPhone 10 or iPhone X you can use their app which has a find your fit like program and you can just try glasses on like holding your phone in front of your face and it will measure your face for you so you don't kind of have to like guess what will look good it will literally measure your face they also have an app for non iPhone 10 people and iPhone 10 people can still use it too but you can download the app after you get your free free at home try on kit and you couldn't like quickly take pictures of each pair of glasses and it'll put them in a little video and then if you're not sure which ones you want you can send them to your friends your family whatever and they can help you choose because I know sometimes glasses it's like you think you look good and everyone else is like that's a lot or the times you think you look really bad but they actually look really good sometimes you just need a change if you're a glasses where I highly suggest just getting another pair if you can because it's kind of like an accessory and you know if you're like feeling like bored with your look maybe it's your glasses so if you guys want to try out Warby Parker it's seriously amazing and even if you don't end up purchasing glasses you can still try on five pairs and just see and they also have sunglasses too and prescription sunglasses you can just head to Warby Parker comm slash I'm going to vlog tomorrow because they only have one class so it's like I don't really know what I'm gonna do tomorrow you know guess who I'm sitting here I'll give you a recap of my day so I told you all about my morning and then after my little car situation I did some homework for Krim Pro on Wednesday and then I went to crimp row ok guys that was crazy um the professor like he's a really amazing professor like I think he's one of the top professors at my school he was really great and everything but he was just asking like the most in-depth questions like he wouldn't even say what case he was talking about you good well what is justice black think of the incorporation doctrine and I'm like what case are you even talking about cuz I the case we were reading was like justice Frankford frankfurter I'm like what so like I had to keep jumping through my whole book to like this justice and this just like what they were saying about each case and that's not how he briefed them like i briefed them like i briefed a regular case I didn't put like justice black ball bla justice whoever bought like what they think of every of everything I look like really greasy or something it was it was really hot today so that's probably why and then after that we got a class really early actually because the AC wasn't working for a little while and he said he was too hot and he couldn't go on any longer so he let us go early and then I had professional responsibilities which is a class all law students have to take we have to take it our 2l year I think it's probably like that at all law schools so it's just basically about the ethics of being a lawyer and the morality and like different things you have to do and you have to take the mpre before you take the bar which is kind of like the ethics portion so this class prepares you for that um and then I went home and now I'm here I hate dinner really fast and I'm just sitting at my desk right now I don't have any homework to do tonight because I did it during my break which he saw is at the library um there's some things I wanted to review for health law tomorrow it's called health and food law but I'm just gonna call it health law from now on so there are some things I wanted to review for that but really other than that I'm done so I'm probably gonna like wash my face shower and hang out for the rest of the night it's like 6:30 6:25 ish right now and yeah I am done talking because I've been talking so much today catching up with all my friends and whatever they haven't seen so you're just using four hundred dollars to hold down your mat your survey or whatever houseplants yeah sure $400 right there soak it up please so yeah that's what you have to look forward to if you're going to law school notice he Jesse's pile of garbage and all his other garbage that could I see insane garbage when he literally has a bucket already just ordered this mug on Amazon to the to-go cup how cute has a glitter in the wall all right I'm just gonna do some planning right now um one my new favorite youtubers her name is five foot one teacher and she's a teacher in Florida a high school teacher and I love her videos and she's just talking about planning so I'm gonna plan but if you're an OG watcher if you remember from last year I always use that TD Bank pen and it was like the only pen I would write with I've moved on and I found a new pen and it's from Kaplan bar review best pen I still love my TD Bank pen but I love this more my handwriting is just so nice with it and I'm really just waiting for my lives on candy crush to reload because I already spent two more dollars on it today so I'm just not going to allow myself to buy any more lives so I'm gonna plan instead and be productive [Music] so much
