FIRST DAY IN THE NEW HOUSE! Ellie and Jared Move In!

before we get into the official house tour we've got to show you our lunch because that's more important um that is either julie or ruby's they're the exact same speaking of we've got ruby and julie here guys they came to help us and it has helped so much it really really has i think we'll be done today like unpacking that's amazing can you believe that smash crackle pop [Music] i am so glad that i'm the one that unboxed this box and no one else did i just got the best love note who's ready to see this bonnie is so hot and juicy oh i'm glad you didn't miss that oh heart i'm gonna actually cut this out and put it on my fridge this was the last box of our house that was packed can you tell dog food a random cup slippers a ball a kid's blanket markers what else is in here oh dog poop bags anyone three days later it's been four days since we have moved in and we are just finishing unpacking so all of this will stay right here and we will save this for the other house um our couch is in a few beds and this is all of our boxes which is great we can reuse it again and everything is already labeled so that'll be really nice so this morning i have to tell you guys about what happened this sweet man probably at least 75 probably 80. yeah he was definitely closer to 80 but the coolest thing he had a 2012 boston marathon so this guy's fit as fun he was dressed like as if he was getting ready to go run a marathon today he looked awesome his body was like toned and he looked just like my grandpa griffith like as soon as he walked up i was like oh he's so cute his name is lol my grandpa griffith's name is lowell and he walked up and he goes hey he must have heard us talking to copper earlier because we were yelling his name to come back and he he goes hey go get up your leash and let me take copper on a walk with my 14 year old 14 year old little poodle that he had and i was just like okay and he's like i promise i'll bring him back and he's like we'll go on two miles and i'll be back and i'm like oh my gosh i just thought what a welcoming thing for the sweet neighbor to come and like offer to take the dog on a walk and it was just like so sweet to me we are pooped mr tommy is ready for us just to play too like i think he's done with us packing but we're about there like we're gonna leave this section right here we can pull our expedition in and then we're just finishing clearing that area so we can pull the other car in and then we'll have just some stuff on the earth i have to say what's up i am so happy to announce that i have successfully fully charged my tesla after four days after four days on a regular 110 outlet it took four days because we kept using it but i mean i charged it with a 110 outlet that's amazing i thought this walkway is so cute to the front door these are my lanterns with our sanibel seashells in there the boys have been riding their bikes non-stop and i love having this table out here they will eat lunch out here and it's shaded just kind of a really cute front porch area i think i'm going to put some like coloring stuff in there so that they can have a little area out here these are like fake candles and they melted it is hot here and i thought okay i think i'm gonna throw those away they they're goners i love the plants here too it's gonna be so fun to pick my own plants four yard oh i'm loving it and getting so many good ideas tommy you are wait wait wait do you want to go down you want to get down okay you are the third two year old i've had and you're the hardest two-year-old charity i've had to chase him so many times he just dang near opened the neighbor's door i got to him right in time and i was like i'm so sorry he escaped she's like that's great i'm like i'm not even dressed i'm wearing jared's underwear this would be a fashion statement you're trying to make because it's so comfy um i was like i'll talk to you later when i'm dressed i'm sorry oh my gosh he is the hardest toddler i've had yet he's the easiest baby yep huh it's gotta have that balance right yeah you're a good boy hi hi you're a good boy you're just busy b thumbs up [Laughter] you just like to be busy that's okay it just makes for tired mom and dad [Music] yep he's pooped he's asleep how are you two miles huh he is so poo okay this man lol is 77 i couldn't have felt more welcomed i have to show you copper once again i mean he just is exhausted i mean we have been lazy or we have been nice we did we went on a walk last night with the pups but he's really tired it was a good thing to play with another dog his size and go on a long walk so sweet of him now we just need to take penny on a walk away for it to cool off a little bit later but we're getting there guys this is this is real i can't wait to pull the cars in so jared is just in his office right now he's on hold but i have to show you guys something lol came back over i just put tommy down for now well our neighbor you know like my best friend he just came over and he said hey i have something for you these are the best brand i mean if you had an affiliate link i would totally buy from him um he's like don't use your those poop bags you need the poop gloves and then he demonstrated to me how you use them and i was so happy um this is what he gave me there's a hundred of them and i was like you are so great he has a fanny pack on with dog treats and gloves to pick up their poop so thank you lol for bringing these over i'm going to put that in my dog bag and then we just had a cleaning company come over and i have to tell you this so i bought our sectional from restoration hardware four years ago and then i bought our couches that were in our old house in the living room from allison lane four years ago both of the colors are very similar to this they have held up so well both are so comfy and it's almost like the stores scared me to clean the couch after i got it because they're like well this has the scotch guard be careful with what cleaner you use it they they almost scared me that i shouldn't clean them and i really haven't had to clean my couches because they have held up pretty well and usually when my kids feet are like really black i'll be like hey go wipe your feet up before you like jump all over the furniture i've been sound so nauseous since we moved yeah so i called allison lane and i said hey i bought couches four years ago and they really need to be cleaned do you does your people come out and can they clean them and she goes we just used stanley steamer and i was like i almost felt like why didn't you tell me that when i bought them anyway so i called stanley steemer when i came into town and they came and cleaned i was like okay well i'll probably move in the next maybe like nine months so when i move i'll have you come out and clean my other couch and you know a few other things that i have and then maybe i'll have you clean this or maybe it won't need to be cleaned because it will only have been nine months and he said usually it's a it's best to clean the couches every nine months to a year or six months to a year and i'm sure nobody does it that often but that's what they recommend and i and i told him i said oh i was always under the impression like maybe you don't clean them as much and he's like you want to clean them before they're that dirty because if you would have cleaned this couch a year sooner some of your stains wouldn't have been so stained because the scotchgard only lasts for so long and i didn't know that so i wanted a blog and tell you all about that but i think the couch looks really good we'll not touch it for another day or so but i just kind of have loved our morning of just kind of settling in and and meeting the neighbors okay i have one rule for today okay okay we can't go in the living room so we can go outside or in our room because it's wet they cleaned the clutch they cleaned the carpets and they cleaned the couch okay because it was dirty and all right because we need to wipe our feet up good morning a ball did you wake up he's sleeping in a big boy bed now time good morning should we eat some food okay i'm kind of feeling really a lot more subtle today and really happy and lots of emotions and i can't wait to do a house tour for you but yeah i've got a pickup we ordered some food i can't wait to cook dinner it's been a hot minute since i've cooked dinner because we are packing and now we're unpacking and i just don't want to cook but we ordered some food and so there's that should we get some food i think that's so funny he came barging out i see some cute toes hello mama uh so jackson i told the kids i wanted them to play with some toys right now since we're just not gonna watch tv for the rest of the day i just we might as well just play with what we have while the couch dries my friend chelsea gave me this awesome tip she's like when your kids are painting she takes she takes a spray bottle and instead of having like an empty cup or a cup that you have water in it and you mix the brushes with you take this and you spray and it just works so much better to grab the color you want and to paint happy birthday my two-year-old i woke up this morning and made a cake and guess what my friend lol he came over to walk the dog again happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday
