[Music] we are back with Barbara Motorsports Park in Leeds Alabama I love this place especially today because it's not raining yeah much better conditions are wildly different we had a lot of things go wrong off camera that you guys didn't see uh the car overheated immediately during a test drive we had to burp the cooling system and get all the air out of it we had to make a fan shroud for our electric fan the clutch didn't want to work we had a problem with the slave cylinder it wouldn't move the arm enough to disengage the clutch so you could put the trans in gear so we spent a few hours lengthening the push rod and bleeding that I think it's all fixed [Music] well the hood is off the engine is cool it's time to go do the autocross where we need to make up 3.6 seconds which I feel good about because we made 1.7 up on a shorter version of this track so give me more distance give me more opportunity to screw this up and I feel like we can come close we've adjusted tire pressures front and rear we've removed the hood hopefully it runs a little cooler but let's see if any of that helps right here let's do it bye there you go oh yeah there you go oh this car is fine if you got this hit it there you go okay control it all right Mike all right Mike this feels pretty good dude 37.6 good good it feels good that is so fun that is real fun controller controller control right here we got key there you go go 36.7 awesome yeah oh I see smoke no dude that is so good so good so we got a little smoke it's something going okay we got a little smoke all right that hasn't been faster dude all day every day that was 36.5 car smoking I think yeah but I think what we got going on is so much oils like everywhere it's locked around like we got to watch that on the hood is oh we're on fire we're on fire okay uh get on fire I'm Gonna Get Us close to somebody there's a fire go grab my phone grab my phone it's right there oh yeah you got it yep I got it get away from the car hey it's on fire we have a fire extinguisher right here go right down the top dude are we out holy cow you scared to feel okay what are we doing let's get out I was trying to get us closer to like a fire extinguisher I should have stopped holy cow I saw the smoke way out early earlier that we smoked a little bit when we got out here it was like a sub uh what's our time you shaved like two and a half seconds off all right we went faster while on fire I was trying to radio you but like hey there's smoking they're smoking and smoking y'all came to here then I saw it under the car the fire yeah well we we certainly smelt it right here like there's smoke yeah and we never smoked but I wanted to finish the lap this episode is Fuego man hell of a day man I feel safe all right man you got kids right Mike yeah and I like them good that'll help uh dudes can you get the door out you don't want this extra weight [Applause] feel that it sounds like it runs pretty good God stop spitting got a motor this corner is tighter than loads without the hospitality Village I feel like I should break now yeah I would I would have worked a long time ago hey it runs gonna turn it's not bad it's not bad think at this look at this look at this oh we broke two minutes I'm genuinely glad that's over that's me too so the good news is it rips the bad news is we lowered it so much the axle tubes are hitting the frame rail because there's no bump stops right I expected that that's not gonna stop me right now this thing's badass let's go so what happens when the axle hits the frame rail it just bangs off the road Sun loss attraction yeah yeah because all of a sudden you have an infinite spring rate yeah what you said it's bad are the tires rubbing in the front no not so much because it's banging so hard in the back that we're good I know it will fix all of that nitrous nitrous so we'll go n a on this one if I don't die we'll go again with The Gap juice did you shoot Shimmy Shimmy in the corner of course got this let's do this yeah kind of launch good launch oh why was that horrible noise that was the rear end hitting the axle [Music] wow that's good it's really good come on girl go girl go this is a completely different truck s oh did he hit something what'd he hit I think it was that axle again it gets a little loose [Music] there you go there you go Mr dragons doesn't want to shift oh he never got those brake lights going uh are we supposed to the back of the truck just steps out and once it steps up it's kind of hard to recover [Music] come on come on come on come on what do we got we knocked off two seconds two seconds so here's where we're at we have the racetrack for about 20 more minutes we're only two seconds faster which is not good given all the work we put into this thing and it handles really poorly because we lowered it way too much and the axle is hitting the frame so what are we gonna do turn on the nitrous because I'm sure that's gonna help it I don't even know if we're gonna go faster again right now but at the end of the day this truck is awesome and I love driving it even if it's trying to kill me so it's all good let's spray it right now three two one come on girl come on all right here we go all right the nitrous oh man come on girl oh there's that bump that makes me crash there you go faster that's a lot faster go go all right oh that's a late break oh we're scrubbing man oh uh motor shut off okay motor's running but the throttle is not working oh something bad happened and it's dead okay first of all there's rules of this so when I like this and it goes off that's when he's supposed to start oh my God here we go [Music] [Applause] will he swerve that's the question respect [Applause] sorry you guys shooting down he ain't fair you beat your time by a full second nice dude I'm not gonna tell him that though you did awesome my back's killing me bruh there we go final obstacle wheel the wheel rodent track racing on skid plates this is really dumb and fun maybe don't do this at home but all the other things definitely do that do that at home hey cotton yes sir Mr Finn again what do you think your odds are defined it doesn't might find it's hard to believe but uh you guys aren't enough weight all right so we just tried it again and uh there's just not enough weight back there Kyle and I got back there and there's still some like barbell weights back there but it's just not enough we need a little bit more so we're gonna put some of this concrete back in there so here's the problem we had Newburgh and I were sitting in the back of this thing and we actually felt something hit hard and then they told us they didn't do nothing and we're like you're crazy well we started looking back at the footage and we realized that this angle on our wheelie bar that's what hit which hit the bumper the only solution is now cut the wheelie bar off then hopefully yeah got it we're gonna give this one last shot I think it's gonna work a lot I'm kind of scared bro ready fellas that stuff the vacuum is dead oh my butt now we're getting somewhere do it again do it again Dan all right oh we need a little more weight back there fellas hey here's the thing I know we made some promises to you guys bold ones we said we do wheelies front to back on this drag strip next to the little red fire truck and we did but that's life man life is about setting goals and if you don't achieve those goals and you still want to be a happy human when you wake up every day you set goals that are much lower and hit those goals let's I'm almost it might actually been a good thing that it didn't really very far it did Wheely though yeah we did get it to wheelie that was aggressive it stayed together better than I thought it did yeah I agree with that I thought it was going to just fold out this has been educational you know I'm gonna claim success on the last wheelie small success you know way down here but I learned so much I learned that if you're gonna do this if you want to do wheelies in a motorhome then you better have Mike mantel motor Mike mantel Moola Mike mantel brain power because uh yeah that ain't easy no it's not well we still we lead we did and it was fun that's what I'm saying is we learned so much like you said man I'm in a good mood and what's going to make me feel even better is fireballs Sparks out the back door by the little red fire truck all right well clearly you are better at this than we are friend well I've been doing it a lot longer than you guys and it shows it really does it's not an easy gig and I think you guys gave it a great try and I hope hope you give it another shot well we certainly have learned a lot and uh she's technically not broken so maybe down the road we can give it another go yeah but in the meantime can we see one more yeah all right awesome with the fire yeah can you like do that like right now so we can warm up a little bit I'm out of here [Music] oh
