heidi's over here taking pictures of everybody larry's running around luke's ear tuning the whole gang is here and i'm super stoked they got me a little burrito a second ago so i'm getting nourished up and i'm loving it it is a beautiful day we have a little overcast we had a little rain yesterday but we got both qualifiers in we have one more qualifier coming up this morning and then we go to eliminations elimination once you're out you're out we have an all-run field so every car that comes is it the qualifying is just to get you in your car order and we'll determine where you end up getting placed we got javi here mr mr drifter what's this what you got we measure the suspension yes uh we don't have anything or make the traction bar on the shop yeah so i didn't adjust that i checked today an inch forward that tire oh so i installed a direction so you install the track bar so you got a traction bar on it we made it yesterday on the shop you ran back to the shop last night made it up now you're here it's hobby for the win always it's my guy the island civic and uh can't wait till it's back out man that's cool let's go all righty there she is good morning stephen matthew import cloud these guys are lined up locked and loaded it is a beautiful day a little overcast even turbo weather so we're getting behind that a little bit loose there [Music] so the pro class is coming up the psca this is our third round qualifier these guys are pumped up these are grassroots racers these guys build these at home they do their best they work real hard they're all on a budget no sponsors here and everybody's out here trying to get it done and it's just badass racing glad you guys have tuned in and ready to jam with us because it's about to go down so let's go psta we got kevin in the far lane chris and the close lane kevin's been all working all night trying to get his boost control wrapped up and figured out was not cooperating chris phillips driving his daughter's car and out here qualifier right now they're coming in in the lanes pre-staged up they're coming in kevin put it back to what you just had it at that was your best friend when it was a tense hit when i grabbed second i don't know it felt like it fell on its face i feel like i need a turkey oh yeah that is so embarrassing hey get back there look at the logs and try to figure that out kyle white in the far lane just switched to fuel tech that car is yeah there we go how white is flying nice what's gonna go 947 158 car is flying the fuel tank is working great tiger's had some axle problems got new transmission a little more power and uh he's working on it he'll get her fixed up and we'll see him back in the rounds i'm sure all right we got morgan archer and that little eg that color on that car i'm telling you the camera does not do it justice it is deep deep deep i feel like it sucked me right in it's sweet beautiful hot rod morgan with the number one qualifier 869 and he's been just flying cars are ripping 872 at 10 33 168 miles an hour nice job morgan you'll remain number one qualifier you get here [Music] all right we got map of true the far lane you got that axle in there bobby brought it out we got derrick martin and his little eg brand new set up she just got off the dyno broken axle has no passes in it for four years he's out here trying to mix it up get qualified right now strip the teeth off the axle yesterday trying to get down [Music] that's gone derek has a cooling problem here and they'll try to get that back up and figured out dang kind of looks like it blew the coolant cap off again [Applause] all right that'll conclude the third round of qualifying with the psta pro import class we've got the street guys coming up there's a lot of cars and no we'll bring you the best action of the bunch batman and far lane then we got dan willoughby coming up in that badass civic dan just learning the car again first time out ran a 10-9 yesterday [Music] here we racing and he's taking a second off each hit gotta love it we've got jay lopez in the far lane against brad this this is still so goofy tuned yesterday on the side road seven hundred dollars in that dull soul and it is flat out going jay's gonna go 1082 134 he's gonna be stoked about that to a 1275 at 114. my man jay with his first 10. busting it out dude what do you think about that feels pretty good [Applause] 1082 134 you look great dude a little smoke on decel the turbo's a little beat up but it's flying bro it's awesome man those you don't know jay started a shot with me in the driveway um teen years ago long time 20 one two three years ago and uh it's awesome you're back out here racing with us yeah it's good to have you that's for sure we got travis in the far lane and ishmael this here putting their all in and ripping hard send you some video of you and your son or your son racing that was all he just leads dude for his first time at the track he does great he does good the car leaves every time i'm happy for him i'm happy for your your mile an hour yesterday dude rufus was ripping it was uh my fuel filter was just plugged in it was bad bad remember my fuel filter on the dyno same thing with this oh and then i was also having oil making i couldn't figure it out but it was coming out of my oil filter so i went and got another one and put it in this morning and we here we go well good luck yeah buddy there's a lot of cars in the street there is a ton get this place swept up [Music] street glass is huge 50 cars deep like yeah i was like i was like i'm gonna bring you guys the best because i don't know if i can fit all that in one video all right because i have to do qualifying in three videos yeah they're like i'm over this all right we're working on derricks right now when we found that the threads in the block have come out with a stud that is a problem so we're going to go ahead and swap this engine and get it ripping again yep right there where that that hole was this is the hole that stripped all the three is good uh yeah this corner right here is like the hole is just stripped yeah that's where it leak finally right here the pressure into the coolant chamber yeah cap can't hold and it was crazy because it checked out on all the little tests but that sucker was going so all right so we need to get that pan dropped the oil drained and then he's bogged in the pass before he lost an axle he's got one of hobbies in it now these guys are team working it making this all work so can matthew get down the track today i'm praying man let's see getting that em-16 figured out mr anderson i believe in this lane he's made some fast passes this weekend they've had some bogging issues but he's trying to figure it out he's got it this time here we minutes so they got it done they had a little injector leak so they didn't want to run it but they're gonna go back fix the injector leak and be back for the next here comes the round guys let's go [Music] all right we got borah [Music] [Music] 11 18 103 103. all right we got dan will be in the far lane he's on his race week civic gets his wicked white eg this one on this last buy run ran a 10-3 so it [Music] i got an axle i think oh dan's still in yeah he's still in look at the lights he readily oh we totally missed that we didn't even pay attention but we got to fix it and we got to fix it quick so he probably doesn't know that he won so run back up there and let him know he's still in and to fix it real quick my kiddo steve and matthew right there he's he's just stoked you in the round so here he is working on it see if he can go another one all right stephen and blake this could be a good race right here these young guys learning and having a good time that's what it's about honestly that was your only problem yeah but he did run one of his personal bests i think yeah that was as fast yeah so pretty good look at that almost identical oh yeah yeah you get there bro yeah so john's running at no time class so this will not give us the time who gets to destroy first simulating a street race and the stuff is limited you have to change the exhaust so the exhaust did not come out the hood anymore so it comes out the side of the fender and now it is ready to race you can see that small tire they got in the back john's been working on it and the car is just making it quicker and quicker get the nicest car in the car lane you see him purges yeah i'm trying to get that hot nitrous right there [Music] making sure there's nowhere in there getting in people's heads intimidating a little bit [Music] there they come might be out of bottle pressure by the [Music] time all right we're in the quarterfinals of the pro import class guys are coming up and ready to rip i'm so stoked for this [Music] next we've got kyle white it's a beautiful em-1 of zach [Music] hi 33 you're 9.95 versus [Applause] [Music] we got morgan orchard coming up doesn't look like derrick martin got her done it'll be just morgan on a single all right we're all right we're into the next round of the street class we had so many cars that uh we've gotta skip the pros one lap here and uh get these guys down the track so we get them paired up get closer to the finals it has been a day [Music] here we go [Music] jd all right zach lewis in the far lane this little red hot rod has got a d16 i believe it makes 400 horsepower and he's been just ripping all day [Music] zach flying out the back he's gonna go 11-0 131 do a 12-2 that's his personal best great job all right we got rufus and that hot rod integra in the far lane power and tigers down radial [Music] rufus is out of here folks let's go 10 51 and 141. there's a sleeper in the miss stephen boy with a bye run gonna lay it up and in the burnout box we got bora torque and we got nick massey that little v6 car has been flying borah is always right there integra is so beautiful just a deep purple blue gorgeous car nick coming up from new mexico stopped at bfi speed had a little rip ripper session with us now he's out here ran his personal best he's having a great day and having fun with it you feel in the air this is gonna be a race let's go thanks coming 11 12 and 1102 gets them on the tree i feel your pain brother we've all been there all right kyle white's getting that car figured out he's putting ft600 in it and it's moving he's got a couple 930s all right i'm gonna go for kyle on this somebody's gotta take morgan out margaret's my boy here we go this is gonna be a drag race [Music] two [Music] that's the it's a mile an hour there we are reading these guys down i don't know if they got enough for morgan he's he's flying josh scott's gonna figure it out this lap i got my man john jacobs coming up in the final and he is just that new exhaust system sounds incredible john jacobs over oh man i'm just trying to find a good spot here john's coming up see if we can't get 60 foot out and see how this thing said not zach first race of the year you're in the final bro yeah what do you think about that dude nervous but i'm happy super happy and you see who you're racing right yep brian phillips brian in rufus crazy he just did a crazy upset win against stephen boyd the number one qualifier that just shows you drag racing anything can happen yeah so now goldilocks is up and this is one of my favorite cars the the new front end is [Applause] it's awesome yeah i love it it looks so good and this is why i love the psa the number one qualifier cooling down rufus took a loss but here he is helping trying to get it through to the next round what a pass mr phillips yeah another pb for me so and i'm done i'm not trying to be mean but i got in his head i'm telling him all day long i'm gonna beat you i'm gonna beat you and i beat him with his personal best yeah huh yes this is love it's so awesome man i'm excited man stephen what a race man i was catching him too oh he was trying but okay what are you gonna do dude you that's why hey that's why you were side by side so you had me two tenths out of the hole but i was 60 foot at two tenths faster yeah you were literally side by side yeah i was watching you the whole way out my window like oh no no i'm going i'm going here you go good job oh yeah great job for you guys i'm excited what a great race now we just need to uh cool it down all right here we go they're coming up getting ready got zach lewis in the far lane got rufus brian phillips the near lane and they have made it to the finals this is gonna be a race brian just wearing his personal best zach lewis has gone his personal best and his first psta race so here we are this is a drag race um wow [Music] both out here just loving it we had a quick turnaround so they killed cool it down all the way down they got it so that was too rad that was awesome congrats to brian phillips for taking the first street class win of the psta season hey man morgan orchard held it down this whole event man it was so great great bro hey morgan this is a habit they got morgan parking right here [Laughter] john taking a trophy that's it great work it's the exhaust i'm sure go to pfi win a race you're the best brother awesome man well we're packing up and loading up and uh getting out of here but this event was super rad i appreciate everyone that came out and supported appreciate all you guys for watching and being part of our channel and helping us grow these events uh we've got another one coming up on the on may 30th so in just a couple weeks and it looks to be huge so pretty special to me that my son could be here my family could be here my friends and just all of you supporting and being part of all of this and what we're building it's pretty awesome these guys work their butts off getting these cars together all winter long and just want to go out and rip and have a good time and the story is awesome the competitions are awesome the guys just putting their all into it is awesome and i can't i can't i'm just stoked i'm super super stoked and humbled by it all and very grateful we were able to do this the country's going through some wild stuff and i'm i'm very grateful that the banomiers and all our racing family always come together super grateful i'm able to share my passion with everybody and in turn you know light a fire inside them and watch everything even grow even more and really rad how we're able to do that in this life how you know something that excites us can excite someone else and we can grow something we can move technology further we can i can't wait to see where we take all this you know i we're still pretty new to it and we're pushing and we're trying hard and we're trying things and i'm super excited about that steve's getting out of here now with the toader the guy is just awesome papa steve he helps us so much can't thank him enough so thank you steve for all you do it uh really means a lot to us street
