Fire Emblem Warriors - FULL TIER LIST

often seen as the spiritual sequel to Hyrule warriors fire and L'Amour's was the next collaboration between a Nintendo franchise and Co a tech most warrior series and although it is beloved by its fanbase both the franchise characters chosen or left out as well as the inclusion of clones and its roster has made this game much more controversial than its predecessor out of a cast of 32 there are 19 unique move sets to go around and to the most misinformed casual observer that fact alone is enough to condemn the game as if the mere inclusion of clones disregards the quality of what's on offer here while also completely forgetting about the many other systems at work in this specific entry which make each character unique in their own ways when it comes to organizing this cast into a tier list there's simply a lot more to consider here other than just how your chosen warrior swings their blade very fitting to a Fire Emblem collaboration there is a near dizzying array of extra factors to bring into consideration here including whether the character is mounted or not what weaknesses their race or mount may give them what extra abilities are included on their unique weapons how their stat spread plays into how they attack how well their stats are able to benefit from the mini skills possible in the game as well as how their entire play styles can benefit from certain weapon skills and much much more due to how the support system allows you to avoid grinding in order to get certain materials which is something that allows for easy planning and assigning of the perfect skill build for your characters as well as how all of your hundreds and hundreds of weapons fall into five categories which gives you so much more freedom and how you transfer skills in order to amalgamate the perfect weapon together I really feel that nothing should be off the table for this to your list hopefully by now you can see why ranking these characters into a tier list is actually a lot more complicated than you might think for example some of these cloned characters who share their movesets by nature of their stats or other aspects of their overall build may end up on entirely different tier brackets naturally that isn't really the norm here but I can assure you that we are going to see that several times before the end of this list just like my previous to your list I'm going to arrange my tears from s to e with the following designations each ear characters are terrible picks unable to do what is basically required out of them in any typical battle dt r characters are below average who can get by but generally struggle unnecessarily see tear characters are just okay they're about evenly balanced between good and bad bTW R characters are above average they're truly good picks who have very few negatives to speak of and a tier is only for the excellent containing the best of the best of the game the only tier above that is the S tier something which I specifically reserved just for any characters who are nearly or outright broken often containing bizarre cases of balancing gone wrong resulting in overpowered messes which outclassed the others in some kind of ridiculous way well it's about time to get started with these rankings but before we begin I do have a few disclaimers first of all I am going to be doing my best to go in the ranked order here lowest to highest but I'm also going to be organizing this by talking about characters that share play styles all at the same time this may mean that before we get out of one tier some characters who are talked about at the same time as their lower tier counterparts are going to go ahead and be inserted into whatever higher tier they belong to and to avoid repeating myself I'm not going to go over them again when I reach whatever their placement is so if you see me in trowing one of your bays that you know is going to be higher just calm down and hear me out my second disclaimer here is that I'm going to be talking about things like each character's attacks skills weapon attributes and more as if you already know what I mean if you find yourself confused about in the attacks that I mentioned I do have character guides up on this channel that you can reference for yourself but as for things like the skills and weapon attributes there's nothing that a trip to the wiki or a simple Google search wouldn't be able to illuminate for you the last disclaimer is I'm going to be referring to Corrin as a girl and Robin as a boy I'm just gonna go ahead and stick to this game's Canon genders to keep things simple alright that's enough out of me for now let's get to this tier list thankfully we don't have to trudge through any entries in the e or D tier as I really feel that there are no characters in this game that are so bad as to qualify for either of these that's right today we're actually starting things out at the C tier so let's go ahead and get to the bottom spot [Music] Oh Frederic for a character with one of the most satisfying play styles in the whole game seriously there's nothing like sliding the horse first into your foes and then chucking them off the blades of your ax when you're done with them but Frederic is surprisingly underwhelming when put up against the rest of the cast while he can of course manage at both crowd clearing and fighting single targets one of his most critical flaws is his awful stat spread he certainly does have very good strengths and the best defense in the game but the rest of his stats counterbalance that by being mediocre too awful since we're on the first entry here we might as well establish where the true upper echelons of power come from in this game and you may or may not be surprised to hear that they don't come from a character's strength or magic stat rather they more come from these three through high luck skill speed or any combination of the three you are able to massively enhance your characters capabilities through skills such as Luna or lethality which both increase your damage in various ways through your luck stat or through other things like gale force and quick wit which work towards getting you into awakening mode more frequently which is just going to lead to more damage Frederic is not really set up to use any of these very effectively resulting in him getting more and more left behind as stats and levels increase which is why he's going to remain here at the very bottom [Music] [Applause] while Frederic is in the lowest tier available here due to a decent moveset that is held back by a terrible stat build Corrin is just the opposite of all the play styles in the game Corrin may have the least effective one containing a selection of attacks which take an overly long time to accomplish simple jobs such as her area clearing C 1 and C 6 or her jumpy and frenetic c4 which is good for single targets but again takes a bit too long again remember that we're starting in CTR here and in no way do I think that corns moveset is bad she can still completely kick-ass and clear rooms like the proper warrior that she is it's just that when compared to others the range focus and speed of many of her moves is just not there when it comes to her stats Corrin does have some bright spots with a very high luck and decent skill stat but she still remains slightly below average and many of her other skills really unfortunately to her credit alongside Liana and Celica Horn is one of the only three sword wielding healers but with the worst a magic stat of these three she also gets the least benefit from this it's really disappointing but lower C tier is truly the best place for Corrin [Music] [Applause] [Music] here we have the first case of a move set containing entries and multiple tiers because in my opinion the archers have one of the best attack styles in the whole game especially when it comes to destroying opponents defense using the armor break skill and they're super cheesy charged c1 attack combining this with their c5 which absolutely shreds basic or critical stun gauges the archers are an essential movement to learn from the start of the game until the end but the reason why we are already talking about one of the better play styles in the game here is because not every bow will der is actually all that ready to take advantage of their incredible potential let's start at the bottom shall we Niles and Sakura it really breaks my heart to list my personal most used Archer down here but the truth is that both of these two just aren't rockin the stats to get them any higher than CTR Nile stats are okay with at least having fantastic speed but with average strength skill and truly awful luck he actually places the lowest of the four with socrata only slightly above him due to her heightened luck and even higher resistance next up we have Takumi who is definitely going to place far higher than his sister and Niles not only is the pineapple rocking the highest skill stat in the game he has fantastic strength speed and luck to boot about the only thing that holds him back are his terrible defense and resistance stats which make him one of the purest cases of a glass cannon around even better than taka me however is Anna who can become even stronger than the pineapple without putting herself at risk through the multiple skills which she can utilize through her ridiculous luck stat of which she has the second best in the entire game so to wrap these four up the final placements for the archers is going to look like this Niles in Sakura NC tier Takamiya and B and Anna na [Music] if you haven't guessed it already the Pegasus Knights sit in much the same situation as the archers with each of these three placing in two different tiers negating stats I would definitely say that the archer moveset is definitely superior but this is where fun things in this game like the movement speed system come in and shake up the normal way of ranking things the simple fact that Pegasus Knights can get all around the battlefield four times faster than in the archer giving them both the ability to move themselves in to just the right spot if they're needed there or to simply give that same capability to anyone that they're partnered with definitely makes them some of the most valuable units to have in your army and to be honest and nearly essential on any team so where do we place each of these ladies well let's start with the reason why we're talking about them so soon in this video Anoka again far from bad hidaka unfortunately is a bit too overly balanced for her own good with only her resistance and speed stat really standing out alongside a decent luck stat she can make use of the usuals like luna and lethality but then again so can Cordelia who's going to sit above her due to her interesting strength and magic spread characters like Cordelia who always have exactly the same level and these two stats are built to take advantage of the skill resonating power which gives a free damage boost based on how close one's strength and magic stats are even though Cordelia has worse luck than Honoka she still ends up on a different level thanks to this power boost still noting that these two have compared anywhere close to Seeta stat wise she's pretty golden with incredible resistance speed and left boot unique to only her however is her winged spear which is the only weapon in this entire game which can attach three slayer type skills something which goes along perfectly with the Pegasus Knights ability to rush out and assassinate any target you like decimating them and leaving before you really have to dig into any kind of longer fight which again is probably not the Pegasus Knight strong suit with all this in mind Honoka is going to place here and see while Cordelia and Seto will go in to B and a respectively at the very top of sea tier our Marth and Celica I pick which I am sure that many people will definitely agree with right again Marth and silica are definitely not bad this is a relatively high ranking all things considered but I have to say that they might be the most underwhelming sword users for a number of reasons for one though their c6 is a great area clearer everything else that they can do while getting there is just a little bit too focused towards dueling for my tastes with some of their other combos being a bit too wild especially their c5 which I find constantly has them sailing out of control due to unintentional aerial heavy attacks that might just be me enough that being said they are undoubtedly effective on the battlefield and with their c1 charge they have a great gap closer making fights where you dominate the enemy feel more like you're a cat toying with a mouse naturally Marth is going to be a very balanced character but at the same time he does have the skills speed and luck stats to get a lot of benefit from the right skills Celica meanwhile is a totally different case from anyone else in the game with absolutely even strength / magic defense / resistance and skill / speed like Cordelia and a few others these first two stats mean that she is another great candidate for resonating power making her in some way Marth's true equal or maybe even slightly superior it's a bit hard to say which one of these two is actually better as there are a few other nuances such as Celicas ability to wield healing staffs with her actually being the best sword based healer in the game but I've ultimately decided to give the higher place to Marth due to the built-in Dragon Slayer skill of his falchion which I would definitely place higher in importance with these two done we have now finished the relatively brief seats here and even though we have a few archers and Pegasus Knights already poking through in the future list I'm happy to say that things from here on are going to be much more clear without any more splits like this to speak of even though be dear to me we'll start with Cordelia it's time to go ahead and move on to the rest of the above-average warriors in this level [Music] while they are definitely not among my favorites the playas Crom and Lucena definitely have an effective play style with some of the fastest attacks around as well as extremely similar stat builds that are both great for skills and base damage alike these two are a great pair but I'm sort of almost at a loss for thinking what to say about them they're only held back by their less than stellar c1 attack and to me they form the solid base of what defines a b2 your entry definitely a fantastic move set without getting into some of this game's more outrageous play styles or stat builds while they are extremely similar in most stats about the only notable differences between the two here are crumbs higher defense to lucina's higher lock of which luck is definitely the more valuable stat meaning that Lucena is just going to outshine her father all in all they're just great choices no matter the map a borough is yet another case of a fantastic move set that is held back only by under optimized stats when it comes to her move said a Boros c1 is really notable being both a great area clearer and a single target focused set up with all of her other combos being great follow-ups to this well not the best at racking up Kos a borough is still no slouch at it and again if this list were only based on moveset she would undoubtedly be even higher than this touching higher be if not a tier unfortunately for her a ball a cthe the strength and the luck to get so far due to her very good skill and speed she can benefit from some of the best awakening or critical attack targeting skills but just not to the degree which would push her any further in this list as such she's just here and low to mid B Azura in many ways is just kind of a better abour oh and with both of these ladies being the sorely needed ground-based spear users who were released on the exact same day in the same DLC pack please excuse me if I'm going to compare them pretty directly while I think that a burro definitely has the better play style Asura is definitely no slouch with some really great attacks such as her c5 and c6 both being able to clean house really quickly while her other combos being great for one-on-ones her c1 is a bit hard to evaluate and a tearless like this as it is primarily a support skill but in the same way that the Pegasus Knights providing a service increased their overall value I'm willing to say that Azure is singing should do the same for her what really distinguishes Asura from a burrow is her stat spread which is way more optimized for high-level fighting at clearly seen in her high skill speed and luck even with this I still found it to be a bit of a tough call deciding on which spear user should go higher but the thing that eventually settled the whole dispute was the fact that Asura's unique weapon has an automatic be Slayer skill on it elevating her to a rank just higher than her similar well dressed counterpart lissa is definitely a very interesting character one who's mediocre too bad stats outside of her resistance and luck don't really matter that much given how long-lasting her personal buff is combined with her overall fantastic moveset when one thinks of Lissa there are likely two things that come to mind one is of a bashfully frustrated Lissa telling someone that she isn't delicate before acts cartwheeling a bunch of soldiers to death naturally I am going to talk about this move because not only is it a heavily damaging combo with a huge range one which also keeps her very safe from counter-attacks it's also capable of locking in and crushing stun gauges when we add in the extra utility of her high magic stat something which can be used to make her a great healer or could also be swapped with her strength using the topsy-turvy weapon attribute Lissa definitely has a lot of flexibility in the kind of build that you want to give her she's just a great character all around and if one thing is for sure it's that she definitely 100% in no way is delicate I'm not joking she will kill you oh look who it is everyone's favorite Lord with his passable sister seriously even though the twins here are not the most beloved characters by far there is little to doubt when it comes to their viability in this game similar to Marth both of these characters are pretty evenly built with a Rowan distinguishing himself with a slightly better strength and Lyanna doing the same with her slightly higher magic which is going to let her heal a bit more both of them do have the stats to benefit from a variety of skills something which is backed up by their extremely easy to use move set one which contains a lot of variability for both single target and group damage with nearly all of their combos having a very clearly defined usage of the to do to his higher strength and luck Rowan unfortunately takes a spot just above his sister but seriously you can't go wrong with either one provided that you can well you know stand them if you've heard me talk about Leo and Elise before you might be surprised to find them so high on this list for all the issues that I have with their moveset mainly from the speed range and vulnerability of some of their attacks there simply no denying the incredible value that these two siblings can wield on the battlefield first things first the charging see one of the magic users something which allows for utter freedom of revealing stun gauges a regardless of matchup is always an invaluable tool something which really comes to play in skill builds which utilize critical attacks only the archers come close to this kind of freedom a matchup but Leo and Elise may do this job even better given their high movement speed with their mounts letting them charge around the battlefield three times faster than any grounded Archer when it comes to their stat spread while they both have incredibly high magic and resistance naturally Elise then goes a step further to add on the ability to heal making her the most mobile effective healer in the game but she then tops this off even further by adding on fantastic luck and speed stats which altogether just makes her much more effective than the tomato don't get me wrong I do think it's totally up for debate which mage is best but with the reveal of these two in this slot it should be clear to most how this is all going to shake out for my list technically not being full clones thanks to thar jizz c6 and her nose brought to health healing through her special attacks still as far as I'm concerned these two are the same and to me Robin and arja have the best magical move set in the game outshining the others with their widespread and very effective standard attack and combos it seems like everything that they throw out is just going to hit a ton of targets whether it's their very wide standard attacks the long line Thor on magic of their c4 or the massive effects of either of their C sixes it's easy to say that these two can clear rooms just as easily as they can see one critical attack generals it is incredibly hard to say which of the two is really superior while they both have terrible luck Robin has the higher skill stat for stronger critical attacks while larger has the better speed stat for longer awakening mode rampages I suppose I'm just going to give it a thorough job due to her having the better defenses of the two without the need for the stat flip attribute on her weapon well well well wouldn't you know it all the maid just got placed right next to each other this is a total coincidence by the way but even though I said I think that Robin and Darja have the best move set it shouldn't be any surprise that Lind is still going to take the top spot for magic users so what is it that puts her higher than the others well it's simple Lind has what it takes in two stats that anyone in her role would value above all else magic and luck with the attack boosting luck based skills on her as well as a good Tommen hand Linds damage is ridiculous and although her skill stat is just average the damage boost that she's given from things like Luna is more than enough to melt anything as is fitting of the glass cannon archetype it should come as no surprise that Lind has the absolute worst defense in the game meaning that the risk and reward of fielding her really comes down to the player themselves as far as I'm concerned in this game the best offense and the best defense is just a good offense and for that reason despite her frailty Linda is going to take the magical cake [Music] Xander is a testament to the value of good fundamentals in this game as well as how a simple tweak can make all the difference while his stat readout is generally average other than his fantastic luck at a glance you wouldn't quite get the value of Xander until you factor in two extremely important details Xander one has one of the better sword based play styles around and two has a horse with skills like Luna on him Xander is able to turn into a character who is just as powerful as his grounded sword counterparts but moves at three times the speed with a balanced moveset which is good for both clearing space as well as taking on generals Xander is a character who I feel gets slept on a bit despite his huge potential and as a result he very much deserves his place here in upper beat here before I get started can I just say how glad I am the tikis somehow managed to be a truly fantastic character the true successor to Hyrule warriors transforming young link but did so in a way that didn't immediately clearly launch her above everybody else without a doubt Tiki is very powerful but in the sort of reasonable way that I can respect with generally lackluster stats Tiki will start like a sea tier character or worse but as her speed increases to allow her to stay longer and longer in her dragon form as well as improving her through additions like lucina's awakening skill which specifically powers up characters and their awakening mode it quickly becomes clear that Tiki has a very high power ceiling but without ever becoming ridiculous ultimately I think it's safe to at least say that she definitely deserves to stay here at the very very top of beat here with the majority of the cast placed into C and B already we will next be moving on to the best of the best in a tier starting right after the already placed Sita [Music] here we have absolutely the best duelists in the game Rihanna and Elaine have both got the movesets and the stats of where it counts with their block breaking c1 as well as an array of extremely fast and focused combos which are perfect for humiliating any enemy it may at first seem like they are only good at one at once I believe that myself until I was shown just how easily their c4 can be used to pick up plenty of chaos when repeated again and again given the speed at which it goes out along with the range of its projectile when it comes to stats Rio mahad's an absolutely ridiculous strength skill speed and luck stat but don't be totally deceived by his high stats on-screen here as he was generally higher level than the rest of my mostly level 100 crew when I grabbed these numbers but still at any level he is going to excel in these very important stats even though his resistance isn't the best it also isn't totally awful either when it comes to a Wayne he is a little bit more tricky than Rio ma given that he is built around utilizing his own skill resonating power due to his perfectly even strength and magic stats the damage boost given to him here may help to make him even more powerful than Rio ma despite his worst luck but since I highly recommend using these master duelists with a support character who could ferry them around the stat change that a partner would give to a Wayne actually lessens the benefit he gets from his skill something which makes Rio ma definitely edged him out due to his higher flexibility still it's easy to say that both of these characters are amazing it is a shame about Wayne though because well you know you know right yeah you know [Music] it really is a beautiful thing that one of the best characters in this game also happened to be the last one added though she is mainly an area clearer given the great range of a lot of her attacks olivia is definitely no slouch when it comes to one-on-one fights as a matter of fact she really excels at them for one reason there is perhaps a no character in this game which better benefits from a proper skill build at than Olivia you might be sick by now of hearing me talk about how a luck stat can add so much damage to a character but it is absolutely true and no one has a better luck stat than Olivia adding on to this she has extremely high speed and skill in fact just by looking at her stat sheet it should become very clear just how much of these three stats dwarf her others this basically means that you can pour all of the best skills into Olivia turning her into a rampaging dancer of pure destruction who is able to naturally activate critical attacks through her normal attacks in awakening mode which then crushes health bars given her absurd critical damage of which the chaos then lead to fuelling more and more awakening mode due to her signature skill gale-force I haven't even mentioned her c1 dancing yet which works just like a zero singing to make her inclusion absolutely invaluable if there were any DLC character in any of these games worth their full weight in gold it would definitely be Olivia and it should be no mystery by now why she is so high on this list even all the way up at this level [Music] okay who didn't see this one coming Lin and Navarre have a play style that is as thrilling to use as it is destructive on the battlefield absolutely everything that they can do is incredible seriously I kind of feel like I don't need to say anything here because if you've used either of these characters you get it and you're probably already guessing everything that I'm going to say here I'm just gonna carry on regardless because as special as Lin is there is maybe no other character who hits harder in this whole game than Navarre containing a powerful blend of both high strength and all three of the big tech stats navara fits into the same glass can enroll as Lindh but for swords yet somehow he still has way better defense truly both Lin and Navarre are good but there's no denying Navarre has the absolute best blend of bass and tech stats in the game with also the best move set at the same time so there we have it everyone every character in a tier truly the best of the best however observant viewers may have already noticed that we still have one tier left but after everything I said about linen Navarre who in the world could place above them like with most s tier entries I am simply more frustrated than I am excited to talk about how these characters break this game whereas every other character on this list has to fight their battles like a normal person both Camilla and Minerva have the privilege of just not doing that welcome to - heavy attack the game because the strategy before you will allow you to hit even the most absurd KO goals in a matter of only a few seconds due to the power and speed of this one attack oh and that's not all by the way did one of those pesky enemy generals get in your way well why not try the humble little strategy of simply flattening them with your dragon without this one broken attack the wyvern riders would have long since been passed on this tier lists likely in CTR at best given their mediocre other attacks in slow combos as well as an extremely underwhelming c1 mechanic with this - heavy attack combined with their moves speed of 20 which is the same as a pegasus rider by the way you can both flatten any enemy in your way something which is already boosted by these characters fantastic strength stats of which Minerva has the highest in the whole game I could talk about how their stats differ them here for example how Minerva has the worst resistance in this game or how neither of them has really great luck stats but while I'm explaining all that you could have just flattened another 10,000 enemies the path of least resistance is a very real thing I kind of regret having told you all about this brokenness I for one was happier before realizing that I could just pancake smash any resistance with a few repeated button presses but alas I really feel that this to your list could not be complete without their inclusion so there you have it everyone my complete tier list for every character in Fire Emblem warriors if there is one thing that I learned from the Hyrule warriors tier list it's that no one is ever happy with anyone else's list but now that you know mine why don't you go ahead and let me know your own down in
