[Music] how are you so good to see you thank you from thank you very much always a pleasure you know coming to this show always a pleasure you know seeing brian and you know you as well good to see you so thank you very much always been my dream to talk with people like you especially you you've been you know a mentor for the collectors thank you you have some topaz as i was looking at i would like to like you to tell me about them sure here yeah i would like to mention a few words about them first of all i would like to just pick up this piece this is from famous locality kotlin in mardan from pakistan usually we see very small crystals on matrix but this is the first time that i see 11 centimeter crystal of topaz on matrix from this locality and they never feed the color of this locality as well so a wonderful matrix yes yeah the best is to get on matrix freestanding this size is just incredible excellent termination determination is really great and we've been working in this mine for more than 20 years my brother my father but they did confirm with me that you know it's the largest freestanding crystal they've ever seen on me yes all right yeah yeah now that's a relatively common color for toefl sure on this one but i saw another one that you have that's a little different i think so and the great thing is i put them next to each other both pieces from same locality and they're famous for producing pink and as you can see the color is really really incredible isn't it yes to find these pink topaz are extremely rare bob yeah and if i mean the crystals it's just perfect all around what is so nice is the color and then you know the color is just really great oh yeah that's excellent and to get on matrix bob is also locality it's also from mardan kotlin mine in pakistan okay yes yes i would like to mention this because i love rarities and you know the exila time the best side and the parasites this locality produce uh these fabulous rarities i would like to mention this this is 147 carriage of pesticide i showed it to smithsonian and to her buddha and they confirmed that this is the largest gemstone of bestness site they've ever seen from this locality it's a beautiful color yeah boy where where was the fastening gun the stone has been cut by victor tuslakov and he's a famous cutter you know from russia and whenever there's some great real things he's the best man to to cup them and he did a fabulous job on that it's a beauty and it's the largest you know best design ever seen by anybody for gemstones okay so you're you're here you're better known for a guy with great tourmalines you know both tomatoes are my favorite of all time since i was kid you know these are the colors that it appeals to me and believe it or not a little story that i tell you when i used to be in england i used to feel really really you know upset and you know and then whenever i had to have a gemmy tourmalines at the back of my pillows i used to pull them out at night time before sleeping believe it or not and i slept on believe it or not when i looked at the color and the beauty they have honestly speaking i used to get really relaxed that it has to affect me so because of that the tourmalines are my favorite and and that's why you know this year i'm really glad and and pleased to bring some really beautiful okay share some of them with us okay i would like to first uh show you this fabulous piece from pop rock nuristan afghanistan okay twin crystal no repairs nice absolutely perfect nice awning yeah and you can see the side crystal there and what i love about it bob is that just the pink cap with the green is so typical yeah and it's doubly terminated as well at the bottom now you you do dig journalists don't you uh yeah we have a partners they do the digging and everything we have a mental partnership with them and they bring them over and my brother like you know do a partnership with them and we get we try to get the good stuff you know it's not easy tough competition nowadays but they're so blessed to even get hold of pieces like that it's an incredible size and to get a perfect termination on both of the crystals very nice very nice indeed yes with tomlin i'd be more than happy to show some of the great finds from this year we were very lucky not quantity but this year we had quality and i would love to point some of the pieces out to you i always used to admire the blue cat from parliament okay you know and we always used to dream that you know what maybe sometimes we have a mind from afghanistan that we can find that it's not as blue as palamine but it has a ribbon of blue which is similar to bella and so we're looking at one of the first pakistan blue caps well i hope so i hope so here we go it's a beautiful beautiful pink tourmaline with a ribbon of a little bluish on the top and it sits perfectly on the on the smoky quartz but beautiful white elbow nice and the great thing about it is it's a totally floater it's a pocket piece you can see the back of the course is terminated the top is terminated and it sits just right on top of the parts beautiful setting i think the setting is really really beautiful and incredible lovely yeah oh look at that i love the fact that it sits right on top of the course and the course is both doubly terminated and the touch of elbow just makes the specimen for me sure yeah this is this is small bulb but just an incredible incredible piece what i love about this one is it not only have it yeah watch that micro microscope yes microlight crystal with doubly terminated cores but the great thing about is the first time we get this termination from prop rook it's a pencil termination pointed one which is really really unique i think yeah yeah more pyramidal yes and if i may move the piece all around you can see the way it's grown together with the beautiful little albite on the side but the static on this piece is just incredible and a rare micro lightweight yeah yeah microlight and coarse and greatly terminated it's just beautiful excellent this is again another piece oh look at that this year we got this this color that we've never seen before from paprika it has a touch of blue at the top and then yellow green and pink beautiful zoning great luster on these the lesser is incredible and they're doubly terminated i love the fact the side crystals are really really incredible a little guy poked out there very nice and you can display it anywhere you want that's remarkable yeah it was a great pocket this year that we found and i was so blessed to acquire most of the best pieces from this pocket usually when the pocket comes you're very lucky that you get one or two of the best pieces but i was so lucky that i got most of the best pieces yeah i mean the static bulb on this piece is just incredible the way the smoky cores and you can backlight the smoky course as well and sits right on top of the course and if i may turn the piece you can see this that color the color is very intense incredible wonderful yeah the way it sits is just incredible and you have a touch of blue green yellow it's so open you don't even need the light for these and this came out this year this year just in september 2019 wow yeah beautiful now talking about the colorful tourmaline this year we also got a really new new color from paprika which is kind of a pink and green which is very hot color from paprika this is a new color yes okay we used to get 20 years ago this color from paprika but all of a sudden after 20 years we again have this touch of a green with the pink color it's so jammy yeah the geminis and the termination on this one is just incredible wonderful it's amazing these survive and you can see the termination it's just incredible the way the faces are just so lustrous and the little guy next to it makes the specimen so yeah yeah and it helps yes beautiful piece we talked about a lot of tourmaline from this pocket but the great thing is not only we found tomalin only this year this fabulous color we also find a combination of tourmaline with pollucide which is really really great to see that's one i would like to show that as well i love rare minerals yes this specimen bob what i so much like about is usually in past we used to see small polar sites sitting on the matrix never on the tourmaline but in this case you see a beautiful color tourmaline and a perfect ball of polocite is just sits on the tourmaline so perfectly that i mean it's just you cannot ask any better yeah it looks like you just put it there yes and look at the color of the thumbnail it turns green wonderful yeah look at the termination is great the way the polar side crystal is crystallized and sit on the tourmaline that that that beautifully is and there's little tiny crystals of micro light as well it's tiny but i mean it's add some spice to it you know sure yeah yeah here in this country when we find polycyte it's either narrow veins or yeah and for me pakistan and afghanistan afghanistan huge and for me honestly speaking i've never seen that static as this and a perfect ball crystallized ball of polar sight sits on tourmaline it's just a wonderful amazing amazing thing that's why i love tomlins one piece that i would like to show is is one of my favorite and the shape is like a heart and i named this piece a heart of pop rock as you can see the the static is just incredible mint green yeah what i so much love bob is yeah it's exactly like a heart if i measure yeah yeah now would you let someone slice that and make pendants it would slice my heart to the head for anybody you know i would never let anybody to do that but that's what i saw like bob is just aesthetic on this specimen you see perfect shiny cleveland diet right on the front smoky course on the left side cleveland knight on the right and then the tourmaline is perching with a hardship right from the middle of the matrix excellent excellent piece yeah and the tourmaline is a great great color mint green emerald green with a great luster what a piece yes yeah i agree with you anybody who cuts that yes should lose their license thank you he's talking about the rarities we have seen a lot of fat and quartz you have seen with the fat yes but have you ever seen an appetite for an appetite no i would like to show you i didn't know they occurred here you go oh look at that look at the step-by-step setting of the crystals of appetite on top of each other and you see that green farther inside that's what chlorine makes the farther look at that what is so lovely about this bob is just the crystals grown together on top of each other right in a great great shape yeah quite a stack stacks of appetite as you can see from this side excellent more than about six seven or ten crystals sitting on top of each other yeah super static and i'm real fun yes yes yes this is from performance agency yes the first i've ever seen yeah yeah me as well usually we get the small crystals but never this size and static and with thought and i think it's something very special it must be yeah and without the light you can see as well this is stacks of appetite crystal grown together and when you move it you see the crystals all around top to bottom it's a real treat that's a rare one thank you thank you very much bob thank you we found a new emerald it's the area is cross-bordered to barakshan afghanistan where they find lapis lazuli and the district is called chetral and it's a new find of emerald cluster of emerald sitting on course and none of them has any repair to get something like that without repair is just amazing yeah on court on quartz yes most you know the colombians are on mainly on cal state from afghanistan we have the pan share locality producers emerald from pakistan we have a swat but this locality garam chashma is the mind name it's in chatral district and uh near to the northern part of pakistan beautiful spring yeah and good size as well luster yeah good size as well i love the way the crystals are just perching on the course you know it's just so beautiful the back and the front and everything you know it's always excitement when you find new finds you know this is very important as well and that is one of my my project that i always want to just you know find new stuff new minerals and you know new localities which is kind of like my dream that i always want to come up with something new in tucson that's an exciting find yes thank you bob at the end usually i uh show to brian and uh you know something amazing something new find that i feel proud to present um the rutile in adrienne last year we we filmed and we are we had some tiny crystals and there was a new locality that we found the adrian and rutile but i'm so proud to present one of the major pieces of this mine i would like to mention i put a lot of energy a lot of money in this project and since two years i've been working and luckily it paid off and when i show you the piece you would agree with me that it did certainly paid off let's see the payoff sure oh my goodness can you believe that look at that this is rutile yeah and this is a green aged ring with albi if you look at the geminis on it yeah if you tell somebody above that rutile they would say get out of here we get tiny pieces you know from austria from pakistan from switzerland but this is more than 14 centimeter crystal wow sitting perfectly in a adrienne mixture and look at the little crystals going through the adrian at the back it's a great combination yes wow i think as far as i've done my research in my humble opinion is is the only locality that produced this look this this combination of uh adrian with rutile there are rutile coming from other part of the world but never with adriene and to get it on this size and aesthetic and look at the color and most most roots are kind of stubby yes yes this this really is you could say it's almost a circular it's just wrong and the way it sits is free standing 90 degrees and then the age green perfect crystal coming right on the front with a little white elbow is just a truly amazing piece a wonderful prism and i'm so proud to present that because brian should remember in munich i showed him the largest brook i ever found on matrix and everybody agreed with that and i'm so proud this time it's a titanium mineral as well like brookhair to present the largest new tile on matrix ever found from pakistan usually i buy a lot of tourmaline and aquamarine as well but if it's something spectacular killer i cannot let something like that go but i am so lucky this year we found a great crystal of aquamarine which i would like to show you yeah this is a gem yes aquamarine okay oh my goodness look at that what a jewel bob i mean when you see who faster than that there you go thank you i was gonna say it and you just sort of completed my sentence when you see the faces that you say you know what this is not for real let's check it is it for real you see the the faces on it the prism the super geminis the mirror termination and i love the color of the blue green with aquamarine slightly perfectly terminated here and it's doubly terminated look at the back yeah and what i so love about is when you see through from the from the top you can go all the way through you can see the termination at the bottom it's just an incredible amazing this weighs 375 grams and it's absolutely presentable i've never seen that good never seen and i would like to point out something you know a lot of people might say oh there's inclusion but we're talking about the minerals not the gemstone i actually love this inclusion on it because this inclusion really makes it kind of a perfect crystal and we can call it a nice mineral crystal of aquamarine you know it adds something to it you know like a cloud too cloudy inclusion there it just makes the specimen so perfect very natural beautiful yeah i'm so glad that i i had on my hand on this one i worked so hard and i'm happy that i can just bring it more happy that i can bring it to film it and then people can see you know the pakistan afghanistan what are the beautiful things they produce and in fact it's the best piece that i've seen you know since i've been in the business for the quality x there's more larger pieces but that jam crystal w terminator is the best one yeah i don't think i've ever seen one yet jimmy yeah yeah that's great to know most of them are cloudy yes that's that's lovely thank you so much for showing thank you very much bomb it's always a pleasure bob thank you so much brian thank you very much it's a pleasure you know always to give me this opportunity you stupid my dream always that you know one day will that happen that i'll be at the show where when brian film me and i can speak with mentor like you both it's just absolute pleasure what you need to do now is go home and put some tourmalines under your pillow and maybe it'll happen again i think i'm gonna do that thank you very much [Music] you
