[Music] okay we are here with Kristoff koban again how are you Peter in his room at Westward Look thank you for coming this is this is what's hot in ton live so this is there's people in the background there's people moving around come or not so yeah but but that's what it means to be live so um you've got some wonderful things again as always thank you some uh wonderful things from the Congo to show off as usual I'm trying you know I came in the door and the first thing my eye saw was that hot pink cobal and calite that's uh is this new production no no no um I got some uh really good ones in the last let's say 10 years calan calide from the from the Congo but the one with the High saturation color as this one it was really One of a Kind it's a it's a find from the early 80s where where they found several Clift with some really good ones and um it was unique for the the color of the pieces but also the transparency and the luster of the crystals and that one the cherry on the cake is the malachite button the malachite Bowl uh it's it's really a lovely piece um and it's really the the signature of the 1985 pocket that lovely piece lovely color yeah it best cobalto and calite were best for PC uh found only in the 80s but since that time they are still in my opinion the best ones I can't I can't help it but out of the corner of my eye I'm seeing a very similar color Yes down the way in in in a cabinet is this the same it's from the same find yes uhhuh you're talking about this Jewel uh yes as a matter of fact actually which one I mean they're all jewels in this case but talking about cobal calite yeah here you have a a piece also from 1985 was uh was found in mashamba West in the in the Congo with some uh some malachite inclusions inside it's this piece is for me the best for speci we I have I have handled a lot of the very good ones and uh in my opinion because of the the all over thing the color the transparency the luster the size of the crystal it's a complete Flo it's gorgeous absolutely gorgeous yeah you can see the the malachite on the back yep and you can see it through the Cal yeah yeah yeah but if you turn the the piece look at the recrystallization of the the malachite very special piece thank you but everything in that case is special that looks like a lollipop yes this one I will I will put it properly on the base because I don't want to do a mistake yeah this lollipop it's a it's a to it's a taline from the now famous lollipop pocket because of the red tips in uh in cruo in Brazil mhm and uh it's a it's a very good uh example of uh what has been found uh in uh just I just love those saturated yes tips and uh the clutch M my fine minerals internation cool for the piece great stuff well thank you um I want I want to show you this one because it's it's very special um it's new it is new from uh from cruo mhm and um I've seen that specimen somewhere before yes it has been uh I think yeah I have one issue here there you go yeah yeah it has been the it has been the cover cover of of the lapis magazine they do actually a great job for our uh industry um and uh talking about if we speak about magazine line mineral as well is doing a great job for the for the Hobby and uh we have to support them I asked the the collectors in the US to subscribe also to this magazine because they deserve it and uh so it's a new find from uh from cruo some chrome green taline on Matrix of quartz it was a small pocket that they found at the end of 2022 and uh the crystals are almost totally Jimmy darker color on the on the tips but still uh still Jammy and some really nice flashes coming off from the cracks inside it makes some reflection inside the crystal it brings out the color yeah it makes it it makes it more alive mhm you you can see in the in the case the the transparency of the of the Crystal and the last one in the case it's an aquamarine from the the famous shigar valet in in Pakistan what I like is that you have the two different terminations on the crystal you have the regular flat pinu termination and then the crystal on the on the right you have the complex faceted terminations which is quite unusual for the to get both of them on the same specimen for baral and on the Snow White Matrix of felspar sits up so nicely and my my santalia eye catches a Rams Horn gypsum up there in the corner yeah from China I'm guessing it's China it is China yes yes yes it's a it's a sculpure it's a piece of art from the from the guong province in uh in China we we found some similar one I mean in the shape of the s in buer in in moroco as well andalia although many of those are misdescribed Nika but it's uh yeah they they grow from the base so the gypsum Laden fluids are coming through the Rock and they crystallize at the base and they push everything out that was formed before them you get these crazy curls it's really it's a really aesthetic piece sits up so nicely yeah it's a piece of art but everything in here is a piece of art including you Peter I was to say including you I was going to say a piece of something else but you got it right all right I think so okay it's hard to tell where to start or stop you've got so many lovely things here thank you thank you these gorgeous quartzes and the this beautiful yeah yeah it's really morph of quartz after whatever bar right fuite andite and uh it was very very interesting interesting new discovery and this malachite Network yeah is so bizarre I mean pseudomorph yeah it's the the piece is very very light so it's probably a pomor of same I don't know you can see some exagonal shapes in the space um and it was unique only one piece like this it's wild yeah really as always you have wonderful and very different things
