finding old gold on ocean beaches with a metal detector

good little spot here I've been working I've gotten a few coins out of and it looks like it's washed pretty damn good a lot of rocks a lot of little pebbles black sand we're gonna work this area today give this a try - tides low tide five o'clock it hopefully we'll get something good looks like we got a looks like we got a piece of copper he's all proper something good here and man it's tough digging Oh looks like we got a little necklace and this sure as heck looks like it's cold 18 K 18 karat necklace it looks like a religious medallion and it's black been there a while get some black on there Shayne's and tach looks like the chains a little black but it's it's gold what a find good one I like the sound of this one and me and I think I'm going to have to go get a shuttle under this rock still in the hole and it's bumpy and rocky [Music] Oh Oh we go to Rick it's black it's black ring in the scoop it's black it's Silva yeah nine to five whoa whoa I'm going to have to go get a shovel it's all stone all rockin here look at this bring it down for you right where this tide mark is going on it is all rock look at that the old rocks I broke a scoop five years ago and I really don't want to do it again I think I'll go get a shovel in my in my car and we'll sacrifice that but this definitely targets I got some gold little silver some coins he'll tell you something this is where you're going to find all your old gold the real valuable stuff you well you want to know where I found that $20,000 ring well you're looking at it it's a lot of work but you kicked some of these boulders out of the way usually it's something good underneath we'll keep hunting I think there's more gold out here this is what I'm talking about this is why I switched over to my shovel if you got to contend with rocks like Plus wanna be a baby it's like a piece on lead lots of little rocks little stones when you're walking along and you see in some trash items on top definite signs of erosion beaches are running at a pretty good 90-degree angle zoom in here a little bit this is what you want to look for I mean you can find gold up in the dry sand absolutely but you're not going to find the kind of fines down here in these rocks Beach is just like a giant gold pan and that will move these rings and coins up and down the beaches you probably find coins that are wafer paper thin thin thin coins and what happens is they move from the wet sand up to the dry and back again so when you lose something out here it moves moves with the storm it moves with the tides put them here you know and when you dig it out here in these rocks you're going to get a lot of spoons but you've got to really dig the FE signals because sometimes I've dug coins and rings and they sound real funny under these rocks I don't know if it's the minerals and the rocks or the black sand but you've got to almost dig everything I've been using this Excalibur to in between the rocks I usually like to go with a watt 15 inch on an explorer but I like this Excalibur - it's been good to me we'll keep going when I take this gold out here and pick this a little bit more a little bit of patience we'll see what happens something here kick this rock out see that I don't believe what I'm seeing put it right there oh my god Wow Wow I think folks we have a classroom ring and it is a beauty I'm gonna have fun cleaning this one up and that that's typical there that that breaks what good [Music] got it man go ahead deep quota this is why I love washes got something right here got something nice right here pull this up Oh Oh the necklace again like to see some gold but oh look at that he's black religious it's a religious one definitely silver it's in the back been down there a while real black gunky it's gonna go nice with my ring I'm having a little bit better luck with this Explorer down here I switched over I I switched back and forth and sometimes the Explorer works a little better a little more stable even riding with us what keep going getting dark but keep going [Music] good god damn bull boy get a prime on what to sleep there for a half an hour hey talk to a very nice-looking woman for another 15 minutes and I hope this is good as I'm busting my feet up on this rock yeah it's right in that clay layer that we've been working bare with me well good it got it [Music] [Applause] ah there it is yeah that's a big piece of brass look gold look like a gold ring for a minute brass sometimes I leave my dig holes uncovered and I use it as a reference point you can on beaches coins jewelry gold silver it all collects it collects in pockets especially when you have title and erosion patterns and if you could pinpoint some of these areas where you see a lot of dig holes usually you could go back over that area real slow with a metal detector get stuff underneath that and usually it's jewelry it's a good little tip I've used I've really done well using it got one here folks and it's been tough digging today see if you can see it fake down there see that looks like a ring and it looks really old it's got some real light feathering it on the side bring it over here you can see it it's been down there a while don't know if it's gold I got to go home and check this one this is old it's real old and it's been there a while all right you see that brown stuff that's clay when you stop seeing that in any kind of a wash on an ocean beach that's real good that will actually grab coins and hold them and preserve them like the day they were lost real good sign right there all right we got something here and now look how close this is to the clay you see the clay the clay layer here now look at this it's something here folks you can actually see the different textures oh this looks old and I don't want to beat it up I think we got a silver here maybe a silver it's a silver coin it's got a read it edge yeah it's like a try to break away the incrustation can't tell I'm gonna scratch the helots a mark it's a Mercury dime see here he is 1925 maybe it's a 25 it's a mark little silver there's another thing I'm talking about see that piece of lead pipe actually it's copper you got any rings out here I'll tell you those rings on top of the surface nice piece of pipe I'm going to throw that my brass bucket don't copy that too but that's what you're dealing with in these areas lots of stone but there's also lots of goodies something here look took a quarter well a quarter the Clarkes Trading Post the hello it's a Clarks Trading Post token it's got a beer on there I can't see a date says old man in the mountain what it is wait mountains New Hampshire that's interesting you it's not more over here [Music] this is hard rock diggin brick a scoop this way I'll show you the scoop I broke later the nice one nice stainless steel not the aluminum ones all right that's a rock break it up here a little I think we got a coin now and a piece of junk just rolled aluminum this is just this aluminum you get these funny pieces and it almost looks like a piece of silver it's aluminum that rules and that rolls right out to these rocks and back again and that's how it rolls up like that just foil aluminum to pain though here's the scoop just wanted to show you guys that a beautiful and this is an aluminum this is stainless a beautiful stainless steel scoop can be broken and I've dug thousands thousands of rings with this one and sure as hell get broke that's why you'll see me with a shovel up there I'd rather break a shovel and a nice piece of stainless steel scoop I suppose I could get it fixed but I got another one so thanks for watching my video don't forget to subscribe
