exposing my wife to stuff I get I get comments all the time about people wanting to show people wanting you to I get a ton of comments all people wanting me to show you Pappa Frank filthy Frank the legend the man in the myth right aka Joe G who has now gone on to become you don't know who he is he was a pioneer in the YouTube scene back in you know 2013 12 13 14 15 years before the do monetization thing most of his content would probably get to monetize now and we also try to keep things kind of straight and narrow on this second channel yeah so I kind of shied away from showing you him but there's another channel who's related to filthy Frank that's so much in content but just that he's part of the friend group he doesn't show his face but he is a pop in YouTube channel he's been in the YouTube game forever another YouTube og that I've gotten a lot of comments about exposing you to called howtobasic he does tutorials a lot of its focused around cooking I think I think you'll really like it so again guys as we always say in these videos this is my first time she's never I haven't shown her any of this ahead of time she doesn't know how to basic is and I just want to get her take because as a you know an OG youtuber myself I've been a fan of howtobasic for a long time and I'm excited to finally bring you into the fold I 14 point 1 million subscribers by the way he's not messing around he's he's fuzzy you're not kidding right so he has over 500 videos he's uploaded as recently as two days ago let's go to his video page and I'll have you choose one homemade pasta homemade pasta your Italian sounds like something you'd like where is it how to make homemade pasta here we go I hope he means like making the actual pasta oh yeah it's just a normal how to video [Music] with a little twist a little comic player usually sometimes it's just him making sauce but I was gonna stir the ingredients flour salt obviously sift flour and salt together sheet the flour into a circular mound this is what you do if you're making pasta yeah and then you make a hole you put the egg in the middle in civics yes now it's important to note and you don't know this because this is the first time you've ever watched a video says eggs are like his brand it's like eggs are everything to this channel that's like it's hard to explain it's hard to explain but the haven't watched howtobasic really for a while now it's been quite a while I used to watch this stuff quite frequently but he's continued to upload he's crushing it obviously still multiple million multiple millions of views per per pair upload chicken teriyaki you don't watch how it edit a video okay alright well learn a thing or two let you learn to edit a video you can give Josh a quick spell you know on it Sam you'd probably be able to edit better than Josh anyways after watching this [Music] do you know what an SD card is yeah okay how do you for that actually is is that what holds the done correctly is good so you like that you suck at cooking is that the name of the YouTube channel he's really good I don't know if Emily yeah in a way different way but yeah it's a much much more aggressive no no no voiceover like shorter to do the egg to do the edits that's like he's literally editing like single frames 30 like hundreds of them throughout his video and then somehow blending the sound so it all sounds good it probably takes a lot longer than people realize to edit a video like that just do it yeah John it'll be quick it'll be quick John I'm just gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna clap like 10 times and I just need you to edit it similar to the way he breaks his eggs how'd it go did you do it just sorry I know that probably took like 20 minutes for something so stupid but you know I'm saying that's why that's why you're my guy that's why that's that's Josh the slippery that's why just this is whether he's my god no see you should take your time I have all night on ok I do know that I enjoy to that's fun like we're not watching someone sits a loser on tik-tok well go off mrs. lush damn what are we doing but you're into this though I'm obsessed so this is insane dude how often is it that we find content that we both love how to basic bringing married couples closer since 2012 thank you that's 2012 thank you thank you to out to basic all right what are we learning to cook next do you want to go so his stuff is good you want to go you want to see like a real old one in awhile you want me to go back to the banana bread video to see if there's comments about the toenails hey I'm not gonna argue with the boss let's get back there my mom clicked on this thinking it was an actual recipe that you know that it's like 50% of the views are probably people looking for a banana bread recipe - did you drop the click-through rate on me wouldn't you imagine like I've never I haven't been this proud since Jackson took his first steps honestly I feel like you're a little baby finally learned to walk next you're gonna be talking about audience retention average view duration of course it did hon you know how you know how important click-through rate is eight these guys who have been a big fan up for years I wonder how how crazy would it be if howtobasic still to this day was filthy Frank even though he went full musician became Joji no I know this is yeah kinda maybe I'm an idiot maybe does everyone know who how to basic is at this point I'd probably do confirmed missus lush is a howtobasic fan I'm so happy I'm just that kind of crazy it's just people you know the Mafia knows they watch us like we have very contrasting senses of humor sometimes right I'm more into like the memes the stupid stuff you like random lapsim slapstick you know Facebook the meme comments no but when we can find something that we both enjoy together it's like this might as well be nirvana paradise even it's almost a coincidence that on Valentine's Day we found content
