who fred is remember the ASMR guy my Australian there just so happens to be more than one friend on YouTube unfortunately I know you wish that was the only one I believe he was the first one of the first youtubers to pass 1 million subscribers with arguably some of the most annoying content on the planet yeah but he went on to have a hugely successful career and I believe got a show on Nickelodeon last time I said that about somebody in the show on Nickelodeon everyone the comments the goos on Cartoon Network Leon idiot they're all the same thing to me they got a show on some stupid television network although Cartoon Network is pretty awesome Nickelodeon not so much alright so Fred two point eight nine million subscribers channels still good Fred go swimming two thousand and eight seventy five million views all right I need to get you to premium the banner ads are out of control everyone in the comments is like are you are you gonna click off the ad but it's part of the video I'm like at cuz I'm a youtuber that makes living on YouTube and can't even get YouTube premium ten bucks a month and you die and you don't have to watch ads yeah I don't know why I haven't I'll do it tonight how are you liking Fred so far did he suck on a helium balloon the funny thing is like this was a thing back then like just having I think it was probably post-production he did that to his voice and because of that stick it made him the most subscribed you to or of all time and mm what is that I'm gonna text Judy on my do you say Fitbit vivid on my Zipit oh my god neither look at changed this was probably the demographic was pretty young for kids who really loved this no I that was kind of how YouTube was back then like people didn't have premises it was just them uploading themselves doing random stuff and that was his whole thing like he fred goes swimming this is the name of the video like and he just hops in a kiddie pool his backyard and pitch shifts his voice 75 million views granted its 11 years later but that ya hundred percent Josh can you go oh I'm going swimming say that you could you could say it however you want then he'll fix it for you lol oh pitch if that business I will say he was ahead of his time with the jump cuts though like cutting out all like just tons of edits to just make sure it's like there that was like he that was the beginning people's attention span kind of dwindling with the onset of the internet entertainment and he's got the jump cuts on deck this is like the new formula to the tee it's kind of like the it's it's the in your face just like loud obnoxious noises it never gives you a second to fate you know like you are I'm gonna pull every clip is less than three seconds long for like three yeah and it's only three minutes but this was the revolutionary stuff back then a lot of people uh probably took inspiration from Fred that was the first time definitely the first time I've ever watched more than 10 seconds of a Fred video there's still comments three months ago four weeks ago they're getting still getting comments to this day who else is watching in 2019 by the way happy Halloween early that requires a response my Halloween was very happy thank you yeah this used to be considered good content I mean they made him multiple movies yes so they saw the success yeah he had multiple Fred movies he's in movies as in at the theater I probably were theater releases 2010 romance adventure friendly movie Oh God it has one star TV imagine that I would I would go as far as to say I don't know this but I would I would venture a guess that every single movie ever created from a youtuber has probably gotten one-star I don't think there's ever been a good production from are you to translate no now that Idol generation the only question is why an audience would choose to spend 83 minutes with him from Tom Huddleston the thing I hate about critic reviews is they use words in like they try to just stuff so many like fun cool savvy words into two sentences to make them sound badass that just sounds so pretentious yeah I guess I do a comedy without laughs centered around the most excruciating ly annoying hero ever given to a cinema screen ever given do you get that we do yeah we got a we need to get you on some others you need something right now I don't know what it is let's watch one more Fred gets bullied I don't know like him watch this whole thing again it's all exactly it's like the same was just like random Nair and randoms narratives voiced by Fred feels pickle sticks new horn Fred Figglehorn yes fred was just full-blown fat shaming in the last video we did it to in the pool one get away from me fatty 2008 was a different time you get canceled so fast for saying something like that today I don't usually judges physical appearance but he was so fat boom channel deleted by YouTube shadow band back then no one gave us crap crap [Music] this team made so much money from this effect thank you when he was doing this he was probably late teen so I guess what's he holding is now oh man he's 26 now so he was really young yeah Jesus was he 14 so 15 rather out of curiosity exist anymore no soul probably exist but the real-time analytics don't exist so it's like 80% useless but you can still look at certain legacy stats like lifetime so 1.3 billion lifetime views so that's quite a few anyone who breaks some billion views on YouTube was dunking all for himself dude that's a yes oh my god here's the fifth one that came up also Lucas Cruikshank now has 3.1 million subscribers so I'm gonna guess right now that Lucas is probably Fred after puberty oh yeah I suppose but Lucas croup Cruikshank Cruikshank well he's doing like commentary stuff six days ago where shark tank pitches ever watching people drag my zodiac sign watching disturbing scenes from notorious all right yeah so he's kind of like in the new ebb and flow of what people do on YouTube commentary style reaction style stuff full of shark tank ideas welcome back to the channel ever since I first watched Shark Tank the show where regular people picture ideas so billionaires and they can maybe start a business I wanted to do it I've wanted to go on Shark Tank the only problem is I don't have an idea I do what is it it's a medical device exists why am I just learning about this you overlay you're sitting on a million dollar idea and you haven't even talked to me about you have an idea but no idea how to execute it well I have a platform no I'll see probably not many people that and everything it was it was very sad there's a sad time in my life but hey it's Lucas in today's video I'm going to be reacting to old Fred videos I know I have done a reacting to old videos before but I didn't do all Fred I only did one Fred video so I'm just gonna dedicate this whole video to Fred I'd also like to just take a moment to observe the likes to dislikes ratio it looks like about thirty percent of the people who watched this video hated it enough to click dislike but just keep going like that's like a thing what like to dislike ratio yes care about that of course getting like dislike bombed or it doesn't really do anything other than an indication of you know there's a lot of there's certain creators who are popular because people hate them right there I've guessed good at feeding off of that in creating videos it's their controversy and oftentimes those people get ratioed we're like you don't they'll have a million views and 80% of interactions or dislikes versus like fast-forward you're out of luck he's gay oh you won't be marrying him no matter what sorry chica sorry I'm sorry honey I don't want to say about a man Lucas Cruikshank seems a decent you know fred was horrible but you can't hate the guy for running you know he started a multi-million dollar business being a whiny little brat Fred no Lucas yes yeah that's gonna do it for my tolerance how do we send
