Psalms chapter 3 verses 1 through 8 and we're going to begin reading amen verse 1 says who I love this scripture Lord how are they increased that trouble mean many are they that rise up against me David seems to be perplexed in other words David is saying how did all of this happen I mean where did all of these enemies come from have you ever been there Amen where it seems like one thing after the next thing just kept happening hey man you can sow the wind amen but you better know you're gonna reach the whirlwind am I talking to somebody and man so David's troubles were like a world wind and then he was surrounded by trouble have you ever been surrounded by trouble and it was moving rapidly that's how a whirlwind is this a funnel that moves rapidly amen and people today are the very same way you're trying to figure out what's going on in your life what's going on in the world amen they can sew it but when it comes back to them a man sometimes it's much more intense have you ever go through something like they were you know you sewed it and then when it comes up again it's much more intense than when you put it out it man I know I'm not talking to myself it meant somebody say you got to reap what you sow and then and it leaves you perplexed sometimes like David he was left perplexed and many left him asking God how has they increased that trope with me and that's like I can almost see David a man in his mind he's he's thinking to God he's talking to God how have they increased and then I know I did this but look at what's happening over on this side a man I saw this but look at what's coming up David is perplexed a man he understands that he's going through but but because of some things that he did but he's perplexed sometimes we know we sold some things but it still it man is not above us to go to God and say God what's going on in my life in David's life he's freeing from his son Absalon and everybody seems to be turning against him anybody ever been there Amen where it seems like everybody it's turning against you Amen sometimes you want to look around and you want to find somebody Amen that's in your corner but David seem to have a problem one problem right after the next and have you ever been there when you wanted to ask a question what else could possibly happen Amen I learned in this pandemic and this social unrest that we're going through and the many deaths that we see happening today I've learned amen in this time not to ask what's next a man what could what could possibly happen next what's the worst that could happen that's the wrong question I ask in this day and time because so much more can happen amen if you ask the question you better believe so much more it can happen amen and so much more it's happening I don't even want to under those words nowadays young man I take that out of my vocabulary what's the worst that could happen because God have shown us Amen that this world a man is going down and it's going to get worse and worse a manner that's where we found ourselves in the last few months and man if we weren't stuck inside because of the pandemic a man we were losing loved ones amen and if we weren't losing loved ones amen we were facing the effect of this social a man in just to say man the world for the past three months have been one circumstance after the next and I know I'm not by myself when I say that it meant somebody it's just looking for a brighter day is there anybody in your home's just looking for a brighter day a man I began a few weeks back saying it's time to go back to church you know because I felt like maybe maybe all this stuff is happening because we're not in the temple and I began to talk to God and say Lord if you just get us back in the temple maybe Amen there would be peace and safety in the land because I find peace amen in the temple I find refuge in the temple a man in the devil was hoping a man during this whole process that somebody was gonna throw in the towel amen and I pray that there's somebody it's not you many people have walked away in times like these amen another in the past three months that you've been going through and meant the things that you've been going through many people have walked away from God amen but I declared that I'm going to stand for righteousness and I'm gonna stand for holiness amen I declare that I'm gonna hold on to God's unchanging hand it meant because it was in times like these that I found that God was my anchor it was in times like these that I found that I could get on my knees and I could talk to God and no matter what was going on in my life every little thing was gonna be alright if I could just get to Jesus amen apostle was preaching on last night apostle said don't lose hope amen he says don't lose heart and then you cannot lose heart in what you're going through and then some people have been going through so much these past amen few weeks these past few months these past few years you've been going through so much and it seems like God it's not hearing you and the only next the best next thing to do amen is turn your back on God but I came to tell somebody oh tonight that you cannot turn your back on God right now Tom Amen it's worse and worse and worse it's getting too late in the day for you to turn your back on God but I'm calling for you to hold on to God's unchanging hand grab a grab a grip get a grip Oh God and then I continue to hold on to him because there is nothing amen to bring you through your situation then holding on to the word of the Lord even I find refuge in God I just think God amen for everything he meant that he has done for me in this time amen that I've been away from the temple because I've gotten closer and closer to God I began to know that God loves me just like he loves everybody else I begin to know that God will work for me amen if I put in the work for him a minute so I'm gonna go hard for God in these last and evil days because I meet God amen to bring me through everything that I'm going through I need God amen are you walking around here thinking you can do this all by yourself I'm sorry to tell you that you need God and man I'm not sorry to tell you that you gonna need God amen after a wild I dare say you need God right now because if you feel like you can do this on your own amen amen you are sadly mistaken you can't do this on your own apostle Herman was telling us on last night don't lose heart amen and in second Corinthians Paul tells us that we are troubled on every side how many to know a man that sometimes it seems like we troubled on every side but God comes to confidence yet not in this stress we are perplexed a man but not in despair a man he's talking about the people of God no matter what it looks like amen trouble on every side but we're not distressed amen perplexed but not in despair we are persecuted but not forsaken honey no God is still with us cast down Amen but not destroyed we can't afford to lose heart Amen on today we can't afford to lose heart the poor leprous me and a man said if we enter into the city I'm talking about things that you go through uh I go this way Amen I might fail if I go that way I might fail the whole leprous man said if we enter the city a man we would die if in the famine a man and if we stay here we gonna die Amen so all you need to do is just trust got you in a situation where it's gonna take God to bring you out and then look at somebody and say I'll take my chances and move forward amen look at your cash neighbor and say I'll take my chances and move forward because if I keep moving forward I know God amen is directing my path am i talking to somebody today a man I can't look back anybody a man understand what I mean when I say I can't look back I can't I can't look at what used to be I got a move on in god I can't look at my situation I can't look at what's going on all around me David couldn't look at his circumstances amen he had just imagine what he must look like he was talking to God and I'm just thinking about how have they increased that trouble with me it meant and that's how I would answer that question look what's going on around here amen but God says he got all things in control and as you move forward you have to pray amen are two supernatural things happen in your life I mean and I know that's just what happened for David hallelujah if I didn't get anything else out of my time at home and I appreciate at that time that God gave us to pull away and to understand just to take time out and look because you can be so busy doing Church work and doing everything else that the things that are happening in the world you know they're happening and you even speak on them but this this opportunity he gave us all the chance to sit down and rest and see it rest in it do you see what's happening in the world God gave us that opportunity but if I didn't get anything else out of my time at home I learned that in my most happiest moments my most happiest moments is when I'm communicating with God you would think my most happiest moments would be you know with family people that you can see those people there that you can touch those people amen near and dear to you but but those are not my most happiest times I love my family and I love my friends and then I love my church family but my most happiest times amen is when I communicate with God and I expect God to move and he's never failed me how many expect God to move I mean that's what I have a grab to hold up a man these last three months this expectation of God I have an expectation of him a man my expectation has grown a man I always expected that God was gonna move in my life amen but I have a different expectation of God amen and some say Amen but but you didn't get the things that you wanted in this situation or maybe that thing didn't happen the way you you wanted it to happen but God has never failed me I have an expectation of God amen maybe it didn't turn out the way I thought it would Amen but God knew exactly what I needed am I talking to somebody today they had an expectation of God to move one way a man but he moved another way in your life a man he gave you exactly what you needed he knew that you needed more confidence amen and in this time a man you should have gained more confidence in your God and many you know how you gain confidence in God you gain confidence because you have a relationship with him and then you gain confidence in a person because you spend time with him I am confident in my husband because I spend time with him I talk to him he knows me we communicate a man and I have confidence in God because I spend more time with him we communicate I talk to him about what's going on in my life not as if he don't already know Amen but I like to tell God what's going on and I want to ask God amen what is it that he would have for me to do in this day an hour I have confidence in my God if you don't have confidence in your God and then you will turn and you will walk away amen but I got confidence in him he met me in my prayer room huh how many had God to meet you amen in your prayer room he began to show me just his hand in my life a man in over my situation it's got a head since you ever have anybody ever had God to do that for you he meticulously orchestrated every move that was necessary for my survival have anybody ever had God to do that God is meticulous this stuff is not happening just to be happening and you know sometimes we do stuff just to do stuff but God is not like that God is meticulous in your situation a man I'm talking to somebody on tonight he he shows great attention to detail how many Oh God doesn't say when you're having a garment made or you have a seamstress you have somebody that designs your things they know a man your body and they make it a man every detail to fit a man the person that they're making a man the garment for but how many know that God is just like that amen even much more because it's not the appearance that get that God knows about but God knows the inner workings of your heart God knows the inside of you he's meticulous he knows all about you there is nothing about you that God does not know now there are some things about myself that that I wonder about but there is nothing about me that God does not know he knows every detail of my life and he is writing my story how many know God is writing your story God was writing David's story amen and and as I was reading about David David was bent on survival he was bent on it he it was gonna happen for him amen so you have to be bent on survival it mean you gotta push to win touch your neighbor and say you gotta keep pushing until you win amen amen you gotta push until you win the scripture tells us but he that shall endure to the end that same she'll be safe it mean you gotta go to the end I mean you can't stop in the middle you gotta go all the way to the end did you know a man that God expects you to make it I know he expects me to make it it's not his plan for me to lose but it's his plan for me to be victorious touch somebody say how bad do you want it a man you gotta be bent on surviving in this last and evil day a man I want it so bad that I'll shut my eyes just like David did a man I'll shut my eyes to anything that seems contrary Amen to what God knows what I know God wants for my life amen for I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord they are thoughts of peace amen and not of evil to give you an expected and touch your neighbor on the couch and say God hasn't expected in for your life God is gonna take you somewhere amen but you gotta be bent on surviving look at your neighbor say I'm bent on surviving you can't believe in doubt at the same time bitter and sweet don't flow from the same fountain a man did you know that that's a bipolar type situation when you're out and when you're in at the same time they make you can't be bipolar over in Christ amen but you gotta know that you know that God is able to work on your situation amen back to my Scripture so David wants to know how are they increase their trouble me in verse to say as many there be which you say of my soul there is no help in God sale I don't you get tired of people they come just to point out your troubles anybody ever ever known people to come and just is this state the obvious oh yeah you sick in your body don't you get tired of a friends that that come around and they don't have a good word for you like job's friends ain't man three friends came around amen and instead of praying for Joe they began to accuse Joe now he's already going through them the best you could have done would say brother I'm praying for you I see everything happening but you know God is a good guy he's never let you down amen but they came and they begin a man to accuse Joe of some type of seeing a man and I came to tell you don't kick me when I'm down a man when I'm down come on and pray for me pray like a man praying like you would want somebody to pray for you and me pray that while I'm going through God we'll be able to hold my mind together have you ever been going through a man and it seemed like the devil was trying to take your mind so in times like those Amen if you go talk to somebody else and while they're going through pray for their mind Amen like their minds stay together pray that God will deliver them out of all of their distresses I mean and that's why him you know you got to keep your circle small and maybe you can't have a big circle cuz you can never a man contain a big circle like you can a small circle and then some people can live a man without they meant a lot of folks hanging around I'm one of those people a man it's just a few people and man that that I know Amen that I can keep right up under me Amen because I know that those people have my best interest at heart and then but when David looked around a man he was the kind of man that was surrounded Amen by many people but when he looked around a man there was so many that they wanted to seek after him and to destroy him I mean there was no help for him a man verse three says but though there are o Lord all my shield how many know God is your shield I'm getting happier up here all by myself God is a shield for us O Lord aren't a shield for me my glory and the lifter up of mine head Amen help me to know Amen where your help comes from I know where my help comes from I didn't just start trying to figure out where my help comes from I know that all of my help comes from the Lord and lord I thank you Amen for being my help you ought to take a moment right there and just begin to thank God for being your health Amen God is a shield for you he protects you I'm gonna know that God is a protector he's like keeper Amen he sees things that are about to take place that we don't even know anything about God is my protection amen he's my shield and my buckler and man David said you are my glory and the lifter up of my head a man when I feel low and when I feel defeated Amen god raises me up anybody out there ever has God to raise you up Amen I just love the Lord because sometimes you could be really going through Amen and then you if you like me it's just muscle memory when I'm going through I talked to God about it and we not get on my knees and talk to God and if I don't even have time to get on my knees and talk to God I know that I find myself amen encouraged each time that I talk to my people a man David is get some confidence in the Lord now they have set themselves against me roundabout in verse seven says arise O Lord save me help me to know and then that's right where David need to be save me Lord oh my god for thou hast smitten all of mine enemies upon thy cheek the cheek bone that has broken the teeth of the ungodly touch your name is saying amen he'll knock their teeth out it says that both fighters go along with the plan I'm gonna know that the devil and going along with the plan he is not going along with the plan he does not want you to win and he meant he's not going to allow you without a fight to win am I telling the truth today I meant the one who is supposed to lose this everything he can to lose and the other wins but that's not how Satan is I mean he is never gonna go alone a man with us being victorious you may as well a man get that in your spirit right now the enemy does not love you he does not like you he doesn't think anything good about you am I telling the truth ain't meant because the scripture tells us the thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy amen so whatever you thought the enemy whatever plan you thought he had for your life you better believe a man it's not thoughts of peace amen there are thoughts of evil when the devil is in the mix am i telling the truth amen and the next thing Satan is never going to do everything that he can to lose he's gonna do everything he can to win saying it will never throw a fight don't you ever think you're about to get in a fight that Satan is going to throw and Men he's going to fight you back amen we already know that he's a defeated foe we already know that you are going to win in the end but the enemy is not going to give you an opportunity to go through unscathed am i telling somebody the truth today if he can knock you out of the race you better believe that's what he's gonna do amen but I have confidence in my god because this is a fixed fight he fights for me ain't meant the battle is already won anybody know what I'm talking about on today a manager Josaphat a man he was wearing and he was troubled amen the people of Judah were troubled amen think they man that the best thing for you to do is just throw in the towel but I came to tell somebody on today the best thing for you to do is get a grip on God the best thing for you to do is hold on Amen because God is gonna see you through hallelujah I was reminded as I was studying for this about that song Tamela Mann sings and and when she sings that she says truth is I'm tired anybody ever been there Amen where everything kept happening one thing after the next you tired and man when you are tired that's when you are no longer effective and that's why you better have a prayer life Amen when you run out amen you better have a prayer life hey man you got a no it meant that when your strength is small God's strength it's made perfect and then you gotta know a man that God is able to bring you through it man so that's why you gotta have a relationship with God and men because Trials come amen amen they come to make you stronger amen but it be so many of them amen sometimes when relationship with God Amen when your strength gets small Amen God is able amen to come in and two men Amen the pieces of your broken heart to put you back together he's able to come in and deliver you from everything that you're going through how many know God is fighting for you you don't serve a god that's sitting up there looking at you fighting box all by yourself remember when you get in the ring God gets in the ring with you how many know that God is gonna get in there just like a mentor the boxer a men's manager in the corner telling him maybe whoever the trainer is is in the corner amen and when you go back to the corner I'm gonna tell you this is what you need to do and that is what you need to do did you know that when you go back into the corner amen that's your posture of my life under control amen and I'm talking to somebody today I know it looks bad amen maybe your family is falling apart and then on top of that your job don't pay enough and maybe you're going through trial after trial you have all these kids and financial responsibilities everything every bill is calling up amen people are turning their back on you and man you're getting heart broke after the next heart break after the next heart break amen and you feel like at any moment you're about to crack up anybody ever felt at any moment you're about to crack oh I know I'm out here by myself amen because there have been times in my life amen when the enemy just kept throwing things my way and Men at any moment if I was in my own strength I felt like I was gonna crack up a gun begin a man to minister to me in my lowest hour I'm talking to somebody today that God it's gonna minister you to you and your lowest hour he's getting ready to raise you up amen but you gotta trust and depend on than God in your life you gotta know that God is show everything huh me to know that if you could just believe that God is show everything I met you can trust him for anything I got confidence in him
