Fenty Eaze Drop + Bright Eye Fix Review | Jackie Aina

to talk about candles are you you're here to talk about fenty exactly today i'm going to be testing out two of the newest products from fenty beauty the ease drop blurring skin tint and their new tinted under eye brightener concealers that they just recently launched the girls have been saying we're over full glam and skin skincy oh wait what am i gonna do vinci okay go ahead and trademark that the girls basically said we're over full glam so give us stuff that we can put in our bag and leave in 15 minutes and i'm kind of here for it the only problem that i have just right looking off the bat and i could be wrong these two colors the ones that i showed you guys earlier look really light yes i do realize these are not actually meant to be like a full coverage concealer but even with the tinted under eye brightener i do like it to match my skin tone so we're going to go through the motions of trying both of these products out today and i'll be sharing my thoughts now before we get just launched the ease drop blurring skin tint and as far as i'm concerned i am so an eavesdrop kind of gal for the days that i'm not filming videos for you guys on tick tock and on instagram i'm usually wearing products just like these it is described as lightweight buildable light to medium coverage skin tint that leaves the skin looking blurred smooth and flexible shades for all i will be completely honest i have not seen a single review on this product however i have seen some of my friends talk about these on instagram i don't like watching reviews before i do a review because i can think independently for myself and i want to be able to give you guys you know continued like unbiased reviews and stuff like that like i just don't want to be jaded i don't want to be jaded i don't want other people to put thoughts in my head sometimes i don't do that at all and for this particular view i have not watched a single review so i'm going into this completely ignorantly for lack of better words it just i don't really know much about this product i have heard good things though so without further ado i'm gonna approach this in a slightly different way than what i normally do with my glam reviews you're used to me slathering on foundation i'm not gonna treat this like a foundation i'm gonna treat this exactly for what it is it's a skin lightweight tint okay the two colors that i have are shade 20 and shade 21 i purchased both of these i don't know what happened but like i didn't actually get this product in review until like a week ago i'm not quite sure why but look i'm not complaining i'm just letting you guys know like i was kind of like holding out and hoping that i would get an npr because you know this is my job a lot of the shades that i thought would be a best match for me were sold out so i was kind of limited in providing this review for you guys let me go ahead and shake it up because i don't know if it's gonna be watery i don't know if she's gonna be thick i don't know if she's gonna be the thick okay so shades once he and my hand so far blends sort of kind of right in and i think it's got oh that's a nice finish where in the hell where the hell did they go you know what praise the lord praise the lord not only is the shade missing but like i don't even see the finish because it just evened out my chest it's right here like do y'all see that usually you can see what makeup looks like on top of the skin because it's makeup but i don't even see that if i had walked into a room and this patch was sitting here you wouldn't notice unless i told you exactly that was shay 20. this was actually the shade that i thought was going to be too light and it wasn't so okay i'm good with that now 21 was the shade that i thought was gonna be my actual match so let's see what 21 is actually saying and so far i feel like the difference between the two is 21 is to me looking a little olivey so this shade is obviously right off the bat definitely a little bit deeper in complexion which is not a bad thing there's not really a lot of products that exist like this for my shade and darker so this has really sheer coverage because i feel like i could even get away with wearing this color like it literally blends out completely so not only is this like a color thing it's the actual formula being truly in its essence a light coverage product but like i said we knew that because you don't see it on the website so without brushes without tools i'm gonna go right in i like applying skin tint and tinted moisturizers with my good old digits if it's something that takes me more than three minutes to apply then i'm not interested so let's see shade 20 i was really happy with so what i do is i put a little bit of that on the pads of my fingers and i just start right at the center because sometimes i find that like i don't even really need coverage all over my face if i just hit the center it's disappearing into my skin i don't see anything i don't see anything yet we'll do one more layer and yeah this isn't surprising because obviously i knew this was going to be like coverage but i feel like we kind of need to see how this works in motions because not all tinted moisturizers are made the same and there definitely are some where i can put that amount on and actually see it okay that's pretty so i definitely feel oh that looks really really nice i definitely feel like i see some of the blurring in this product i feel like it's improving the texture like that's the first thing i see is an improvement in texture has somewhat of like the consistency of a sunscreen that's what it feels like to me i don't i don't think this has spf i don't smell spf in it okay now i'm going to take a little bit more and hit my foe head and the perimeter of my mouth which sometimes i skip this area but just for the sake i got to throw out just so we can see how she blends out let's just try let's get into it also with products like these that really have very minimal coverage my favorite way to apply them is to pat like with all four of your fingers just pat i feel like it's the easiest quickest way to get a good blend girl don't forget about your forehead like almost like you're taking a spatula and just squashing it on your big old hand okay i like this product it looks good once again it is light coverage and once again i'm reiterating not all tinted moisturizers are made the same so in my opinion and in my experience on the lighter scale this is definitely the lightest of light but it's actually a good beautiful product now let's see how much a third layer will do only because i want to cover that spot that was here let's just see i want to say i saw chloe morello wearing this as a foundation now see i don't love a product like this will work for me as a foundation because you feel me like when i'm wearing makeup makeup i want you to be i want to be unrecognizable you know by the government i just yeah i don't know if i'd wear this as a foundation but i do really like it because it's very hydrating i can feel i feel the moisture on this product for sure it feels like i'm wearing a moisturizer with color in it which is dude that's what it is but yeah it's definitely got a lot of moisture i feel like this would be a pretty good product for somebody with combination skin like mine and just make sure you go over your skin multiple times two steps ago it was like oh she just has great skin now it actually looks like i'm wearing a product on a good day i wouldn't wear this much i'd probably stop at the second layer but i just wanted to see what it builds up to so that you guys can see and that was pretty good considering the fact that i didn't use brushes or any tools this was actually like not bad at all to me now it is a little late it's like damn near it's four o'clock yeah i'm gonna try to give you a wear test as best as i can but like i said it's gloomy outside girl i don't know how much test testicles we go oh you can't add echoes to everything jackie like you need to stop i was just saying i don't know how accurate the day the where time would be for this you know because it's already pretty late in the day but i'll try i'll do the best that i can that's all i'll say first initial thoughts very easy to apply the coverage is nice it's not one of my favorites but it is nice and i was pleasantly surprised with the color because like i said i thought 20 was going to be too light but she ended up being perfect well i really like she ended up being real good now i do still kind of feel like 21 might work i don't really feel like this has enough coverage to be like obviously darker right and guys one thing i also want to put first of all all these shades on this before website are sold out period period i'm glad that the girls are here for like minimal coverage because i feel like when it comes to beauty there's room for everyone i've always kind of shied away from talking about products like these on my channel because i feel like no one really cares but now that it's kind of like the trendy thing like i'm kind of here i'm kind of happy i'm like we're all on the same page we see each other this comes in 25 shades which i will say for a skin tint tinted moisturizer product is pretty good and this also retails for 29 zualas 29 2950 to be exact you know what's so funny people never correct me when i say zoella's but apparently people don't know that pacifically is sarcasm like please lord jesus help me so honestly because this product is so straightforward and it's so minimal i don't really have much else to say about it what you see is what you get i think it looks really good so now we have the bright fix bright eye under eye concealer some people see this as a concealer i personally don't that's just my opinion i'm sticking to it okay very light coverage it's basically the same exact thing as the eavesdrops but just for under eye i love these products i love these products on days where i'm not wearing any makeup at all because sometimes a heavy concealer is just too much too much it also came out with a corrector shade in the shade pumpkin so you can use this as literally just an under eye corrector and they also release a deep orange shade that you can use as like a corrector like a deep peach which is the shade pumpkin it looks just like this i will say just looking at first glance when i first saw the promotion for this product this launched the ratio between like the dark and deep dark shades compared to the light medium shades looked very skewed i saw to me this is just my my opinion i felt like i saw an overwhelmingly like disproportionate amount of like lighter shades compared to like darker shades but you know i i haven't really jumped in and tried this product so i think i'm gonna like actually try it on and then if i feel away if i'm feeling froggy girl you're gonna hear from me and if y'all don't like it that's on you okay take it up with jesus take it to the altar pray about it okay let's start with pumpkin i'm gonna take a little bit of that on a brush and just go right below the under eye like right where the slightly darker parts are and i want you all to look side by side and see if y'all can see the difference because i already see the difference and this is exactly what characters are supposed to do but because i have long nails like girl it'll be hard to get them crevices do y'all see the difference i see the difference i definitely see the difference now to me even though i did really get close to the under eye with ms pumpkin uh i wouldn't wear this product on its own like it doesn't literally disappear when you apply corrector it's still gonna look somewhat orange so so far i definitely think it did a pretty good job on its own cancelling out some of that unwanted on brightness under my eye i try to be like really careful with like how i frame things and say things on my channel because i want you guys to think these things are undesirable i mean you know like you just got to be careful what you say and how you say it you feel me now the two shades that they sent me like the actual flesh tone shades that they sent me were honey mustard and to me quite honestly i don't know if it's the package that's deceiving but this looks really like is this a product i need to blend out it just looks really light and it's also really like olive yellow i'm guessing that's where the mustard comes in rather than heavy oh from dark and deep dark complexions i actually wouldn't use this like directly on the skin i would literally like quite literally use this mixed with like concealers or like a foundation if i wanted to make them a little bit more olive yellow that's what i would find this quite useful for but like not directly on the skin you know because it's like pretty light like it's pretty i just don't want a product like that i don't really want a product felt like that sheer on me i wanted a little bit closer to my skin tone or my actual skin tone shade i'm going to use almond butter because that's the other color they sent me this is the one that's a little bit closer hopefully hopefully to my skin tone it looks really light too though almond butter on the website is described as here is she there she is neutral for medium deep to deep skin tones now again i don't know what deep what do they that's not deep at all and by the way these retail for 25 zoellas on the sephora website these are advertised as hydrating light coverage natural finish vegan and they also say that they're long wearing and i'm not gonna lie some of these products that be like sheer build they don't be long wearing and that's the most annoying part because i don't have to keep real blowing throughout the dirt i'm gonna give it a good mix on the back of my hand i'm gonna start off small i'm gonna start on this eye just because the orange is bugging me now i just want to cover up the orange you know what let me put more on this side so we can do a side by side comparison this eye versus this eye you can already see i already see it i don't need a sponge with this it's just something that i just throw on and get the hell out the pillow and if i can't blend it with my fingers i don't want it keep it now this product is not a first i have products in my collection that i use now why so touch a claw pretty much the same a little bit more watery but it does the same thing bobby brown has had a tinted under eye brightener product for years i don't look for coverage from these types of products i look for just easy i just look for color like basically just something that will not make my under eye look daunting you know before 8 am you know yummy this looks really pretty and i feel like this side compared to this side looks so fresh and so polished and put together do you see this side i need a cream blush this is actually really pretty almond butter ended up working and ended up working out but i'm gonna have to see like what a picture is gonna look like because i really thought it was gonna be too light how many people were scared me too i was really really scared i think i kind of see what they did there's not that many shades because the coverage here is flexible and by flexible i mean like someone lighter than me could still use this and i feel like somebody darker than me could low-key probably still get away with using this not too much now you couldn't build it up too much but it's super sheer so you can get away with like squeezing some of the variety out of these now i do when i added another layer now i see how light it is that i see but that makes sense because like that's how makeup works anyway so the instructions recommend they don't have any instructions okay never mind how to use just kidding i found it apply a small amount and tap to blend it doesn't say use a tool it says can be layered with concealer works well with fingers brushes or sponges you've heard that right it's on the spore website so far your girl looks fresh hydrated smooth vacation ready this is absolutely the type of product that will come with me on a vacation absolutely you know how when it's brunch brunch hours you know the free unlimited mimosas and you don't want to do a full glam because you still jet lagged yeah you're going to get a five minute fenty face some bronzer blush and some gloss bomb final answer your honor okay another thing that i want to read and i don't normally pay attention to these consumer consumer claims but it does say in a consumer study of 31 volunteers immediately after using people said that it applied evenly and it applies easily and blends easily we know that everybody said 100 agrees it reduces the appearance of fatigue and provides a flawless finish knew that and they also noticed that it feels lightweight smooth and comfortable and that their under eye area didn't feel dry at the end of the day the first thing that i felt and noticed about the bright eye is that it actually feels like an eye cream and that is something that i cannot say about the other under eye brighteners that i use it feels like there's skin care in here and there might be i mean i would imagine there's probably some like at the very bottom of the pot but it actually felt like okay this feels like something that could probably plump a little bit and hydrate really well the same way like the high-end eye creams that i used felt like the ingredients in this really really lux and i'm not paid to say that i'm just letting y'all know i use a lot of these products and they don't definitely don't feel like this okay so there's layers to the five-minute jackie face sometimes i add bronzer and blush sometimes i don't really care to i'll just leave the face like this but now that you see this is what you know at the bare minimum it can look like let's add a little bit of extra because why not we're here and this is otherwise probably gonna be a 15 minute review and i know y'all gonna drag me if i leave it any less than 20. so let me just try to stretch this out with a look like this it's always going to be liquid or cream products for me it just to me looks the best i've already set my brows with the anastasia clear um what's this called brow freeze this product is actually really good and i've already set my brows but i'm just going to touch them up just a little bit the only powder product that i'm going to use in today's look is the bronzer from fenty in the shade coconutty i didn't really care for the cream bronzers a ton so instead i grabbed the powder and i wanted to use as much fenty for this review as i possibly could now see why y'all didn't tell me i had this about a pumpkin right here on my channel or was that candy [Music] what i liked the most about this kind of look is like if you're not really paying attention you don't think i'm not wearing makeup and at the end of the day how you gonna know if i am unless i just how you don't know nobody's gonna know a bunch of damn business anyway you need to back up you give me so you need to give me six feet that's what you need to do okay so not too much on the bronzer now we're not trying to literally look made up we're just trying to add the natural shades back to the complexion so i'm not really gonna be sculpted it's just there for politics that's all i have these milani cream blushes never tried these so they may flop but it looks kind of cute to me the shade is a cherry eye cherry issue oh that's cute i'm so corny no but i really look like i'm about to be on somebody's island with this fit and it's low-key like looking like it's about to be a monsoon outside i don't know what's going on um i also whoa that's got a better color okay all right i really didn't like the cream of fancy cream blushes and then people had the nerve to tell me that i didn't use them right like it just be so funny that you can be the expert at something but then at the same time not like people just never want to give me credit and i think it's actually hilarious okay this is actually a really really pretty color it just looks like someone pinched my cheeks i'm here for it now when you do this you're definitely going to remove some of the coverage because look right here she's back she done clocked out early and said she went to overtime it came right back to work this look is dying for mascara especially sorry for the inconvenience this look definitely needs mascara because look you can't do undereye brightener and then leave the lashes bare i'm just going to take a little bit of my nars climax [Music] and then a liquid or a cream stick highlighter to end a look like this is just no i i i i you're right it's just the cherry on top of the cake baby like i don't know what else to tell you i'm gonna use the nyx total control pro jobs i think these are the warm ones yeah these are warm you don't have to use this you can use any liquid or cream i just feel like on a skin day on a natural day on an everyday day watch just just you watch see what i'm about to cook baby see just wait for it actually you're not even going to see like a huge difference it just looks so good you see it you see it you live for it you're dying for it in fact it's really pretty and then to finish off i'm gonna use the og gloss balm i really wanted to use hot chocolate i would prefer to use hot chocolate but it's in my office so i just grabbed the original that's how i do it every day five minute face and that is the final put together look of the new eavesdrops from fenty and their tinted under eye brightening concealer okay so first initial thoughts remember we have not really wear tested this product in the beginning i'm not gonna lie i was definitely ready to kind of have some feedback about the shades because i was really convinced that they had sent me the wrong shades but the thing is they're so sheer that you don't even really notice i don't know we talked about that earlier but i'm just reiterating these are just my first initial thoughts i do still think if these are so sheer it still seems like they have a significant number of more light shades that's just something that i noticed looking on the website i haven't seen these in store yet so my issue was like the dark shades are really only like three i know that on the website they say it's like four let me actually go back to the swatches okay so when you look at the medium deep category you have peach pumpkin honey mustard and almond butter but the three top three shades in my opinion are the actual cor like color correctors they're not really like skin tone shades i would be considered medium deep in cosmetics i don't really feel like those are skin tone shades those are just me but i'm looking at them online okay just to be fair i am looking at them online so is that also the same with the other ones yeah i guess it is kind of it does kind of look like the same breakdown for the light category light medium medium medium deep and deep oh it's just deep okay what do you guys think i'll put it in your hands please try to be super respectful these are just my first initial thoughts i don't have time for people to get in the comments and try to berate you for having an opinion this is my job i always want to see equal representation especially from brands like fenty because the bar is here with fenty so this is just what i'm looking at and what i'm noticing so let me know you guys respectful thoughts please in the comments thank you these drops wow was not expecting to really like the way that this product looks as much as it does like it just oh my god i really like the way ease drops looks i really like the way my skin looks i like the way i look shout out to jesus i just think i look good this is the kind of makeup you wear when you cannot be bothered and i will absolutely be adding this routine in this regimen to some of my daily looks now i'll be completely honest to say i'm not really expecting a ton of long wear out of this product for the sake of the review i'm still gonna give you a wear test so i'm gonna check back in in a couple hours five at minimum just to say we tested it and i'll see you guys later babe what do you think of my skin right now you look cool flawless yeah that's good yeah it looks like you've got a shine a very soft shine well i always look shiny because i have oily skin do i look nice yeah it looks nice does it look like i'm wearing makeup no it doesn't look like you wear makeup it just looks like you've got a very soft you put something on you but it's hard to tell where it is i like the look of it because it's not too much and then it's subtle so it's pretty good whatever you're using next pumpkin what is it what is it wearing um it's actually so fenty just launched some new skin products i'm testing them out seeing how they look throughout the day it's pretty this is the this is their um what's the ease drop they have like a sense of moisturizer eavesdrop and they have like an under eye brightener yeah it's pretty good you hey guys i'm back it is now 10 p.m so you know what time it is the end of the day check in or check out because i'm tired and here you go just for proof it is just before 10 o'clock like literally about to be 10 o'clock and as you can see my skin is it's doing basically exactly what i expected to do with the product just like this my skin has the right amount of shine this is not the type of product that i would blot and yes i look shiny because i have super bright lights and i also have oily skin but shout out to not having any wrinkles so yeah this is exactly the type of glow the type of finish the type of texture that i would expect to see in a product just like this at the end of the day and then you saw the check-in from dennis earlier dennis didn't even realize i was wearing makeup until i told him and he can almost always clock it because he knows like you know what time it is like he's not stupid he knows what my real skin looks like he knows what my glam makeup looks like and he knows when i'm wearing something and it wasn't until i pointed out that was when he was like oh yeah it was good so i really actually like this product i would probably wear a little bit less on a normal day not one layer i wear a notch up from that i'd probably wear up to two layers a sizeable amount because eavesdrop you can really blend into the skin now i will also talk about the under eye brightener it's still very much present it's still very much there it doesn't look and feel like a concealer but that's the point it's not supposed to and i will definitely definitely be using these products again is it the best tinted moisturizer that i've tried no but it's pretty damn good and it does feel and look long wearing because this is the end of the day it's still very much so on my skin things tend to break down when you have oily combination skin and here you can see that's not the case well maybe a little bit but it's still it's still thriving so those are my final thoughts if you made it to this part of the video welcome i'm gonna be giving away 500 cold
