[Music] goodnight tonight on game night Nikki Lincoln rusty and myself Dave are going to play favelas a game designed by Chris Brian published by whiz kids and plays two to four players so let's go beautify Rio de Janeiro hey Dave yes sir we teaches about favelas I'll teach you the game from Hellas okay if you'd like to learn more about favelas you'll need to go to the internet and look up favelas okay which are these buildings in Rio de Janeiro that I guess are multicolored and wacky and supposedly cool-looking we are we have our little neighborhood and we're gonna beautify our neighborhood by essentially improving it as it were where as you might know when you do some sort of neighborhood improvements you have a City Council you having to deal with and Nicky just for sake of argument roll all six of them no big sexy day they are large and Lincoln if you help me just go ahead and put them in the colors and which they should be so this is the current way the wind is blowing for the City Council and really what it is is how many victory points that are going to be awarded for each of these colors at the end of the round the game takes place over the course of three rounds and right now they like blue and they like green and they like orange a little less but still they like they're like purple at least this clear guy is how many points you would get if you have all five colors present in your neighborhood the game takes place in three rounds there are three of these double sided stacks that have in a four player game 14 tiles and then mixed in the last four tiles are three regular tiles and two tiles that say year and on them when the year end towel comes up that is that is the last turn that game so it's not necessarily equal turns it will just end then will then score well then bring in this one will do the same thing and will bring in this one do the same thing so after three full rounds whoever has the highest score wins so let's talk about what you're doing on your turn I'm not gonna do it now because it's already preset up but we'll turn three of these over can you see those over there yeah over these facts on your turn you are going to draw tile and then place a tile all right you have three places you can draw it out from you can draw one of these face up doubles you can draw a double blind or you can draw one of these singles blind all right when you draw a tile you are then going to place it on your board all right placement rules are as follows one you can't go off your board so this is your entire canvass with which to work with - I don't probably have to tell you this but you can't place a tile such that it covers too late - height different heights right so if you can't lay flat then you can't place it other than that anything can go over anything you can just put it wherever you want what you're trying to obviously do is let's say I wanted to get more green and fewer purple I could do that right I could cover that purple stay with that green although in this case there's no matter but so that's how you can change the colors but whenever you place a tile on your board such that one of the colors covers the same color so if I were to do that covering that green with that green in this case purple covers the other doesn't matter then that color that you just covered by itself that dye is adjusted either one up or one down it is required so if I were to cover green add I can not go higher to 6 that doesn't wrap around and even if I wanted it to stay 6 I would be required to take this down to 5 because it has to move 1 in one direction regardless hey whether you like it or not so when a dye is maxed out at 6 or max out at 1 it will de facto go the other direction on its next move now obviously I don't have to cover green with green to do that we're ready to cover green and purple with green and purple I would move both of those dice up one or down one my choice I mentioned in my turn you this up put new tile there if it was the end of year thing that would be the end about that that turn I just took would be the last turn that your room limits for similarly if you draw blind and you draw the ear end you place it it in itself is a tile with two colors on it but that's your turn and that's the end of the round so you can draw face up here in place a double you can draw a blind a place a double or you can drive your singles the singles that you suspect you're just all one color they obviously give you flexibility they can fill in holes every time you draw a single regardless of where you place it you change this cleared I have one or down one first and then if I covered a blue with a blue I would have just blue look the same way you'd normally would but the mere act of drawing this is going to change this up winter down one and remember this is the bonus at the end of the round for having at least one of all five of the colors which we all start with but you might not end with when the round ends we look to see who has the most of each color ties are friendly so in evaluating blue for example I have two and rusty has two and Lincoln has two Miggy has two and we would all get six but as far as purple goes rusty starts with T when I start with two and Nikki services to but Lincoln starts with one so we would all get that one point four purple and Lincoln would not get any that make sense mm-hmm we're into that three times and at the end of the game whoever has the highest score wins is this that simple okay now I need to read you to start player rule because it's worth hearing the person who has most recently been to Rio de Janeiro goes first if this results in the tie put the game away and never play it again or randomly take a starting player okay yeah I don't not sure what it's there it's pretty funny oh he's going away all right I randomly determined start player that ended up being me two more things though before we start the first is we're gonna swap this clear big clear dice out for this so that you can see a clip better on the overhead camera and I'm gonna tell you the tiebreaker now just in case if players are tied whoever has the highest stack o is the time is the winner for the tiebreaker and if two people have the same height then it's a shared victory cool all right okay I am going to start by taking this and I'm gonna put it here we does not cover any other I do you like colors so that is my entire turn Nikki it is on you oh yeah none of those are particularly I'll take those your blonde yellow yellow BL is for so I think well you can check the value you can just put it over those two and only I will make you look the same only the colors are the same correct that doesn't change anything right there you go but if you put it over there okay but you're you're removing the green the grains got a value you might want to remember you there is two points to be had currently for having all five colors at the end of the round and you don't have green right now the green is also a six we did that you can do that and I still have blue yep alright [Music] mm-hmm that seems harsh because like you now have to place I know oh I didn't explain yet that the end of the round you don't wipe any of these off mmm so for all three rounds you're just building up and up and up hey look at that yellows gonna go up one we're down once a few no it's going up one man okay thank you I can find it I like that plan yeah hmm I like the green in yellow I'll go ahead and take that one no Kotok those things aren't worth anything alright I'm going to go they're all five still remain and there's been a ton hey I could have a red purple or red purple or red purple or red purple what do you wanna do my drug one hey hey it's a yellow purple okay I will cover this yellow and purple hmm well he's a blue yeah well he's a I'm always a blue I'm gonna color this yellow in this purple like so and that because I put purple over purple I have no choice that must turn to a to do yeah look at this you know Nikki's got over we're gonna cover that up okay change the purple red on top of each other don't you or I mean to do that raising the values alright if you want to raise the values you've got to put them over each other oh you do that to not do the bell now okay the values do you want to raise or lower them I am raising each of them each of them alright so three and three in the three there that everything becomes worse some of them hmm everything becomes valuable it's kind of well the minute blue or green get covered they're getting worse goodness it's terrible I want to keep the colors right I'll remember right one of each colors right now is worth - yeah but if I lose my red for a green that's where six right I will take Manhattan let's get rid of one of these trying to get some variety going you covered red with red yes I did up or down up case everything is good this is e I think C is your answer all right Oh goodbye yellow what did that I am de facto I must lower green to five even though won't you okay hmm green red what happens at the end of around we just score you to the colors we get rid of any of these tiles there in the stack we bring up this deck you know you start again we're gonna take a single so that means that white tie goes adversity one or two or one whichever way you want it to go up okay and there is another blue and that's fantastic can I go another layer already yeah if you want but then you're hurting yourself for future placement right I see well that makes that have to be singles right that's where the best place for it unless I go up you could put it on the blue and then lower the blue why would I well because right now you're scoring nothing for blue what do you mean because I have the most blue I'll be scoring six you'll be screen nothing that's what you think okay this is terrible this here is terrible they don't want to lose blue don't wanna lose red do something else ready and green up or down green up and red up everything of them Oh double red I think I will take that double red I will do that and bump the red up there okay okay blue red no changes right mm-hmm one of those two is the end of it you could this come here this is your last turn rusty well not necessarily we all draw a blind from here you could have in their turn and this could all be yours if the price is right yeah I think I'm going to take the purple green I'm not going to win on yellow anymore what's oh yeah you take green all yourself let's take green all to gain the end I didn't want to place another tile yeah no kidding I'm hedging my bets on that died down that somebody else is gonna put an additional purple down so it about D values what they're going four right you guys have all five colors great yes everyone but me no just four yeah oh yeah I thought you said five I'm sorry no worries all right these get cleared this does not get cleared and you ask me what happening in the round earlier and I forgot to mention all these days can be rolled cool okay so go ahead Andrea roll them Wow we bring out the second year stack hmm this is gonna get messy now who's first you because I took the last turn it just picks up from where it left off okay thank you what do I want it it's too early to see them yet I think that's looking good this is hard you see that the look here with the lead right I know but I don't want to cover up my Reds but I don't think a single is gonna be a good plan it's might be your best plan because it starts for the next level yeah for something that only just occurred to me which is once these run out you can't take them anymore right so I need there might be an instance where you need us just to cover a hole and if it's not there I've got look yes please I have to film with a single maybe you should drop now Singleton's all right eze do i talked me into it read the threads doing well that's what you want perhaps I will do that okay and does the one of each color go up it's going up alright move that to a four lots of blue out there I'm going to take a single thing just because just in case I need to gonna happen singleton you can oak blue well I'm gonna cover up something which leaves me with that situation in that case what would like to do with the white guy having drawn a single tile going up is the brakes if I'm going to lose the color I'm going to lose the color you got to commit oh yeah yeah I like it and I'm not covering anything so perfect I actually can't move because you've now overtaken me angry so I can care a little less about it so I'm gonna take this yellow blue yellow blue I'll put it here I unfortunately must drop blue down the 5 but I now have all five colors okay but will I by the end of the year and that's the I don't know if you will three wanna oh yes you do oh three and that is gonna do for and you don't want to cover those red if you don't but there's a little that covers you can cover the red with a red wonky are you trying to talk me into well if you wanted to get yellow but the problem is yeah then you'd have to cover the purple yeah or they're blue scores really well right now that's the thing I know but one of them is gonna get or don't worry about you shouldn't turn this up you were too excited about you know when you didn't have all five colors you could have lowered that down or two then you wouldn't be worried about it I can do that and then we crank the red up right but you're not in it anymore when you do that right now restaurants and now rusty gets it right you have to give something up to get a yellow I know I just is it blue or you got to keep a majority in something there Nick opee yeah where you controllable and well that keeps it gives me the other color and keeps me if you go here three red but then you're not in blue anymore you're probably not gonna be a briny to get a single you're probably not gonna be in purple well she's in purple right now she won't be unless she takes this oh I see because someone's gonna take it well I probably will right admissions it gives you that in other words she needs to she can bump right up she can tie with rusty at least at this point and hopefully grow well now look at that placement it gives her that same later placement problem and these are even right yeah all right we'll see cuz thought so yeah that's about it so red goes up yep alright you and then you have all the colors yeah so that's that's a good thing if you're if you're gonna keep being right about that yeah - that's why I chose those so red goes up one thank you you're welcome it's hard to see double blue I know I could be in the blue game but that I think I'm gonna do that though yeah make someone's so yellow goes up mm-hmm yeah that's a good I'm going to do something specific now just do yes for my future turns because I need to or to deep down there he's in too deep oh yeah and I'm going to drop this down to a three boom in it I'm not all right oh I could just be status quo I like green no no I don't like green and I do like blue I don't land blue do you like believe it do with my border i jus I don't want to do anything here's XD interesting situation that might not have occurred because it's a little weird if you cover this right mm-hmm then each of these is evaluated separately so that would one of those would bump that down to five and back to six and your board would stay exactly the same if you wanted to tread water that's yes that sounds like a good plan cuz it was this or a blind single so there we go blue on top of blue on top of blue are you gonna really show it down to five and then back to six and then back to six yeah done purple and purple hey you the same thing hey that's funny yeah it's interesting I never occurred to me that you get to a point where you actually don't want to change your board right well that's the just like you were saying you wanna find rusty don't give me a turn oh you think oh yeah good it's the last three right it could get the very bottom you could have a turn still I don't want to turn that time doesn't help me at all though sure it does well you're still leading on green even if you cover both of those that have whopping two if you take this one well that's not enough but at least you can bump the green up right and then that's a great tile it gets you in all five colors oh no you know it doesn't ball Purple's not in there anymore gets me one more point I think I will yeah you want to give your green better that's a bad deal on you and there's a chance that you might get a blue now plus you might be not yellow likes round depending on how just do that again I might actually take yeah you could we could do the same thing so my purple is currently not scoring right what am I even scoring for right now I'm scoring for blue and that's it and our five and I'll 5 wow that's not good that's nine points yeah I need and I'm not screening for green right so I need another purple no Rusty's got green right well rusty your greens going down oh man well I I just I can't cover the yellow or cover that covers red that thumb sits in the three and then any type comes in purple yellow I'm gonna get back into the variety so I will don't want to cover purple if you're gonna get into the variety you know what both those color you you don't care what your one of your bets might be to do this you put this on the red it gives you a green if I doing here that's me out of red don't know unless you go it's about to turn into a four thread okay and an upping of the yellow I don't want to up it though you kind of want to try to keep here's did yet that's a great I'll just put it right here I was gonna do it this way no but it doesn't really help it the best bet is I know you don't care about sharing with rusty but it does help her if she wants to bump up red and down yellow hmm it's a fantastic move well I was gonna just but you don't have one of these now and I wanna each color game okay this way so red up anyone who feeling I don't know it's only me so you can hit me since I'm so far back from you it could be any of us right he's three right but we could be three two it's true yeah some down one for the yellow so if I go for like the red that would get you back in the color game kinda the problem is is just getting the right mix of something here would be good it's kind of the one I want I have like the most flexibility as far as building space but this was not bad mhm you put it on the blue yellow and you knock blue down to one yeah and you're still in the yellow I'll be it now you're in the other with us well it's not so I'm not only one scoring blue right now so that would be what you would want to do we have full I mean it dent bumps into one it's not two points is not that much so it's a it's a change of one point right it's not really on the off chance you don't - one two three four five six behind er one point isn't enough to make a difference to me right we're gonna say the obvious I wasn't seeing the off chance that you don't get another red no I know I think I've seen retro a long time but it won't make any difference to me unless I can other than getting the five points well this is what I was saying three turns ago that I was willing to talk about the end is this sort of weird interesting situation it seems in this game anyway in which I don't know that there is much we can do right well I definitely want to be able to place stuff I'd knock me down and ensuring the five points for yourself one point man it's the other stuff I need to get other these other things that I need to raise purple you know I mean yeah I need to get purple and raise purple so that's what I'm gonna do so raise yellow one I want to get purple don't ya it's grit you raise yellow one two three okay well it gives me more score right yeah and then I tie with you yeah it doesn't get me ahead of you but well you tie with him in yellow and pearl without getting red though and I really had that five as I'm saying it's worth five points that's the thing my head hurts I know yeah Jonah you're blue or down the blue well I don't think I'm tied with great on green I kind of yeah I can't catch up on blue probably so I'll just do that and and we'll do it we'll go down one on that your check okay it's cuz it's funny I'm looking at like all these options but I'm only gonna get maybe another eight it's like it's not gonna change much but those tiles could possibly force you to have to change of the position well of course I'm not I don't know what's ahead of me I'm just saying there's not many top choices left there's not much change I think I'm going to leave the status quo and go with me purple and I'm unfortunately that does go to there but I will drop that to a do ya nice dude blue all right here we go I can play there no I gonna worry about purple if you want to try you can be in on the game with with green yes you have a chance you're also don't want to get rid of your yellow so you can at least gain the points that rusty and I are getting if I guess my yeah telling you can up the purple two three okay yeah I don't know what did the green cover up I could only lose that to Lincoln and I'm okay if I lose that to Lincoln right so three let's see if that works I mean it's kind of six of one half dozen I mean I almost you're a drawn blind in a way if you do this you graze that well it gives rusty unless you just give up on purple you can't do that though you want to be this way and lower purple and lower purple and up red yeah oh yeah and then oh yeah and still lead on blue Wow if you do this that way yeah no she to a three yeah yeah nobody if she if she places it like this it just leaves that it at five she bumps well roughly yeah way but you see her nothing but then she guarantees the read guarantee the bread I'm still guaranteed blue angry yep good call and I can lower purple yep that goes up and that goes man no no red doesn't go up Oh cuz you didn't cover it cuz that was the reason she one do that was to cover I understand but it's yeah that hurt it bumped you and I who are in the race but I think it's better to guarantee the ready kids rusty snakes are firmer at the end well I don't know you could snake and by the way you didn't have a rail so you were right to take the red well yeah didn't make it to me but it wasn't it might have made it to me if I didn't right right rusty might have taken it though maybe well you could well it's me yeah yeah yeah you could steal the yellows and the purples right ain't get up a purple if you wanted to I don't have that many I guess I could know it the terrible thing is I want all of them right yeah I would be awesome to somehow be in the red game but it isn't happening no okay good up a purple yeah he's got four Reds I know the colors you don't want to cover the red it's worth five points no I know I'm mad because I can anyway I want to be on the same level as the other one good up the yellow and the purple if you wanted to with that rice you could basically steal them both for me how do I do that like oh because nevermind it's not you can steal one of them for me right I need to gain on you I'm not gonna gain on me this will get on me right yeah but it's not it's not enough I do this where I do that and drop yellow to one or just leave it as two right maybe all three of you are scoring on yellow right now I am NOT yeah you either yeah you could do that and drop you almost one where you go up in the yellows no you want to go up in the purples it doesn't matter it's it too well it only matters as far as keeping the color but let's see if I can do something that's good oh yeah that's true but it's not three points right it's three points but you lose two and the other colors you don't want to yeah you don't want to get out of the purple game I think that's your best play or you can draw blind I know you might feel like it's your best play yeah doesn't matter raise purple and yellow there you go I think that's a good move really enough it seems like I've used on you but doesn't help it helps me more than it helps here he needs to gain on me okay well and her yeah coming in second doesn't matter yeah Oh end of game okay didn't you get one more turn interesting all right blue is Wow only one more red there two blue is Nikki all by herself yes nice two points yay yeah she's gonna kill us I agree purple is three points for you and me link yeah yeah red is all Nikki for five I think that was was it here another thirty five yellow is everyone but Nikki yeah three one two three and green is everyone but Nikki for three oh so close and then we all have five right yep so basically these scores plus five if you care parents I guess we should do it we do care okay thank you it's there I was hoping we'd get to use the fifty and then there and then there hmm well are you gonna hear you got a wine tile a we give you the queen of the tiles that's right for the most part yeah that's what do you think this was rough the small board small small board it's and I knew those ones were gonna be precious and go way too quickly well that was why I took it I wanted to have the most flexibility on my final layer and it didn't help that you know I was wasn't weighted in one way or the other you know Nikki had us as soon as she took the well she was rusty wasn't gonna catch up I don't know and it didn't make any difference you we gained a few points on her but it wasn't enough to well this was I was gonna say it but anyone see the noely game and maybe the games aren't always this way but it seemed like I don't know that I'm crazy about this game it seemed like somewhere in the beginning of round three the nature of how you build your board up and I don't think I made a whole lot of errors as far as building my board up I mean your board was pretty smooth as far as giving you a plenty of flexibility but the tiles didn't come to know well also it just depends sometimes on what numbers you roll oh the roll at low numbers for this whole round was terrible and then four bit and red being the highest well but in the group think for that right if there's a way for the three of us to turn red down there was enough Reds to do it nice to have it on my board but I still haven't gotten to my point and my point is it felt weirdly king-making the beginning of round three like Nikki had a move that I think was in fact her best move but it it did hurt you it did hurt you and potentially me but it hurt you immediately and it potentially hurt me in the long run but the problem was there are some games where your best move sometimes is the move that hurts say the person who's in last or the person who's in third as opposed to the person who's in second right no I mean that's but that's what it's gonna be in a game like this no it's you've got this tiny tiny board to work on it's a tiny board and usually you have to make really painful choices potentially especially when in our situation yeah we could only basically so play we'll be sure the child play it the other way let me see what it was again was it this one yes yes so you scored three for red and threw four yellow so if you do that right it was green I mean I got the same amount of points I don't see any other way to make that he would have taken yellow all for himself you've gone right yo guys hold on you've gotten purple off yourself right so now I go back three one two three then I go up one no I don't even got one I just a second but she is the three four green yeah again yeah exactly I mean it wasn't there wasn't really much of a change in that was the problem yeah I think I'd go back one more link I think because we're able to knock one of my things down but right but it's a second isn't it doesn't matter it's it's I need to like figure out how to gain on you and Nikki and I could not do that the only way I could potentially do it was somehow catching up on I'm red her being alone in red and having that come up as a four I believe was what it was when it came out right is huge because we can't there's no not enough red for us to do anything about it I think I knocked it down at least once didn't I this round I think she bumped it back up in the room before it was on six part of problem is I don't think any of them want six on this round even if you say to yourself I'm gonna knocked it down you still have to a half the tile with red on it so you have a red and B the other half of that red tile has to be a color that works for you yeah yep or you just heard of yourself let's listen to rusty for a second yeah I think just even the three-dimensional aspect of this adds a level of difficulty because there are only nine spaces you're always going to have that odd space round after round that is going to mess you up yeah and so you're going to have to build on top of things that you possibly built that round yes absolutely and so that was why I wanted to be even that's why I wanted that round to end before it got to be them exactly people are pulling the singles it's leaving that stack of doubles out there longer which means you're going up having build again and it's so much harder to plan and when the colors aren't out there for what you need you're destroying your plans easily yeah I like it I like that there's that weird you know you have to find the best the downer was is like I said she was she was gonna dominate in red I mean rusty getting the same up mountain red made no difference that's what sucked right for him it doesn't it will only would hurt him more right in any he didn't get anything on it so it's like we needed to somehow be able to he was that there's no chance for him he need his best score is the red so he needs to continue and that's it's it's not in his best interest so how does it how do you make that work I really want to play this more just to see how you can modulate that with this small amount of space and well you were smart to take a lot like I think I only had one single table home game you were smart to take the single towels right that also helped look how much difference in variety she hasn't heights there I mean it's she did great for she was stuck on keeping that red but you know she wasn't gonna place on it anyway right yeah it's interesting it's a it's definitely challenging I mean there's holy cow I I don't know that I would ever get it I mean there is a certain craziness you know Random randomness chaos that you just can't you can't do much for there the downer is not seeing these right that they're blinded me yes the top one visible or something is hard because it's too powerful I haven't done that horse but I have no idea I had no idea what was the one that you picked I picked the last one it was Green yours was yellow right did you do it or was it Nikki that did the I think I did it I think I did I did this yellow okay yeah because somebody I knew somebody drew it yeah what was that yellow I didn't win the whole game that was it was just this purple one yeah I think they say the place that didn't even help me ultimately what did I pick it I have another one I had to us oh no it's all a shambles so I had purple well Wow look at all that under there and it's so small and then you know can we score like this Dave oh no just that one no I want to put it together into a big ol but yeah it's crazy so is there one of every color and how what is the mix of those single tiles I don't know memories there are some spares that were pulled out yes I go ahead and yell - relson granny me Ella and I had a green and a purple and I just had this purple no are we looking for single just see what the said of the singles were with the mix was I was making a big yeah yeah look at that's pretty there's two year ends how civilians okay interests you because remember these are playable if you drive everyone oh wow five yeah look how many singles she had there's two of each okay because there's time to insensitive you equal and then they have five doubles we didn't plan yeah and also there's always gonna be some double play twos because this is a double play yeah sure five two times we didn't play plus the ones that maybe come after the year-end you know right and also with four players with three players there might be more tiles you're not using because remember it's it's I think the timing of where the year-end tiles go is gonna be the same with three players in the same with two players you just have probably fewer of these the weird thing is is the you're basically sharing with it a lot of people no matter what so it's very difficult to make any kind of change to the score I mean Nikki kind of left out to the beginning we did kind of get close to her what you were within two and I was within four crew if you remember the very beginning I was the only one that didn't scored the winner of everything above us right and I had decided if I could do it I was gonna try to forego that bonus the entire game and just see if I could like dominating two colors but in order for that to work these dice had to have wide variance and they didn't right no they were always very well he scored 45 and we have these 50 play but maybe is but there's no way to know what an average score for a game is because we had that first two rounds were a lot of things were sixes right and it's possible that a lot of things might only be fours or threes I mean the big now the the ones that we share especially if like you have a three and I have a three that's probably gonna be worth something because you I haven't sent him to make it worth something but we didn't do a lot of we did it eventually we didn't do a lot of knocking things down until late in the game right and maybe maybe that changes things I don't well Nikki was optimistically changing her this hoping to get it yeah did she scored every time except the last time or did she get it every time I got it every time yeah that's not a bad that's not bad did you I didn't get it in the sec I didn't get the first winning yeah you got it every round even when you didn't have it in or just that's right cuz we all got it you said should we do it it was yeah and there were a couple times and you did that and I thought gee I would have done that but obviously it worked perfectly well the hope was is that she was gonna get it correct that she wanted to get a few extra points and it worked for her it worked for her as long as she is scoring the same as you everybody else yeah I don't know where we got behind why we caught up that bit on the end there wasn't because she didn't score in any of the other stuff but that five partly then scoring green right and I didn't score in yellow okay but you also didn't try as hard because the numbers got lower mm-hmm right yeah if Green was a six yeah you better believe Nikki would be like well I better get to Green Man Yeah right maybe at the detriment of you and I getting to green more likely you than me since she's gonna draw a tile before you draw a tile yeah it's still random I I don't I never worry about what that stomach I'm not worried but I'm just talking about it I mean I don't know that I've ever me or anything right because the thing is it depends on what I have on my board and the fact is some tiny at most you're gonna have nine faces up the entire game I don't most always that's sort of see at most right and I'm saying no because your variety you know what I'm saying as far as for writing right so you're not gonna you can only do so much with that right I couldn't shift I didn't matter to me to shift the purple with you and I so much because it wasn't I needed to gain more on her and I didn't know the fact that if we could have maybe you would have you could have won if she didn't get one of the other colors if she could if you could have taken everything so she gonna take everything separate you could have won I didn't any point in the round 3 feel like I was gonna have any chance of know that I got this close surprise me a little bit right the best because I ended up sharing a lot of stuff with you guys because I know that you're both have the incentive to also cut me out of something if you can it didn't make any difference it was like the problem is again I have I get one tile that's gonna let me adjust something maybe right and jumping ahead yeah it would take you and I could potentially flip so what but like you showed in that get in your estimation what he had there we were behind or even more by granite well would grab three rusty when you were I mean you were pretty far behind what did you just decide around three okay I don't have any chance there's no I didn't decide that it just felt like the options that I have out there weren't great the red when Lincoln took that last red yeah I mean I could have taken that and tied with Nicky and gotten the points on that as well but as soon as he took that red and a red didn't come up so basically what we really need but that red can take seven points but that seven I know what basically we need to we need my figure out a way to let him take red from Nicky mm-hm and still keep it in so if we could do that I know that possible but it's I do it that's why I'm not sure if I like a king Nicky aspect of it yes to a certain extent it seems you have that you have to collaborate with us but hey it's a favela right we're in a City Council and we're working we don't like that person there to show yeah I gotta work together or not and that isn't I I'm not a big fan of kingmaker stuff either it's it's frustrating because you really I'm not even sure it's 100% King making it just felt that way to me agreed and again because it's limited matically I knew fit which I actually think is an interesting bit of tension but it also kind of worked against the fact that what we needed to do strategically to what I needed to do to catch up on her and what you guys need to do to also catch up on her but not help me you didn't necessarily have any ability to do that because of the restrictions of placement and the limitation and their fellows the other choices when you have a bunch of the same colors I mean it's crazy how little red there wasn't that last round yeah what do we think I was waiting for a double red that's what it was a double red so that it potentially could could change stuff we've decided we'd like my pals over here on this end no they're pretty man you like them I think the art is great yeah dice I mean it's not meant to be played this way about that it's pretty neat oh yeah I guess it'll select that in there yeah look there's more choices your eyes didn't bug out of your head from like the sort of emcee Esher esque nature of not knowing which way is up no because you're working with this tiny little board if it were playing on a board like this size that would be a problem but this is not I hope the actual shayla's are like that it looks like some of them look upside down and you can't keep walking on the walls even rate that would be great well cool thanks for teaching today you're welcome
