Father vs Son Pokémon Card Collection Showdown! WHO WON?!

[Music] father versus son the age-old battle all right you ready have some fun yeah you're ready to lose oh what all right let's take this outside the rules are simple my 11 year old son and i will each take turns revealing some of our latest additions to our pokemon collections all right so we each selected five new things from our collections to show off and we're gonna save our best reveal for last little does my son know i have something up my sleeve get it sleeve okay my dad has a lot of dead jokes he's a dad he can't help himself but little does he know i have a trick up my sleeve at the end you go down in the comments to decide who has the best reveals are you team pat [Music] or team keone [Music] let's flip a coin to see who goes first heads hence it is tony you're up first [Music] i have my first edition fossil echo well this is my first vintage pokemon card as you can see it's a 1999 pokemon fossil ekkins first edition ps810 so that makes it much better this is my first psa but i really like this card because it's an older card and i like the more of vintage cards first up a really cool card from japan called pokemon march from neo genesis look at that awesome this is cool i really really love this car as you can see there's like chikurita there's total dial a few other starters from the neo sets and this car is really special to me because i played in the marching band at the university of california berkeley and it has some special meaning to me just because music was a big part of my life and you know it's a common card but i still love it [Music] and next up in my hands i have my gold card oh snap this is my whole collection of pokemon gold cards i have a ton of pokemon go cards like adventure bag counter catch i've been collecting these gold cards because i really like just the golden color and how cool they look this karate belt i actually got back in england as you can see it's from unified mines so this was one of the first gold cards i ever got right next up i have a really cool promo card from japan again i like my japanese cards this is six of the same version of swallowed pikachu dude that's cool we got one two three four five and six and these are really special because i really love the artwork with pikachu getting swallowed by cramer ant there it's so silly this is a promo card from the movie coco which came out in japan and uh these are going for quite a good good dollar amount right now i'm gonna send them to psa and we'll see what happens but we got six of them when you find something good you try to load up and then i might sell some of them keep some of them maybe gift some of them uh we'll see but i really love this card [Music] and next up i have my i choose you gold pokemon oh yes so here are my character cards this one zamasunta i actually pulled from base set sword and shield this gorilla guy i forgot his name was pulled from vivid voltage so he's a pretty new character and this one i'm actually not sure what set this is from but this was a card that was given to me and it's really special i've never seen this pokemon before tapu bulu gx next up i have another special promo to celebrate the 2021 new lunar year from china i have three red packets red and gold for good luck look at that isn't that sick and each of them have within it promo card single card there's a chance we can get a gold pikachu dude awesome but look at the artwork it's so beautiful and there's a female pikachu in the back there which is gorgeous and you don't see a lot of female pikachus but look at how beautiful this is and uh happy lunar new year to everybody i hope you enjoy this artwork as much as we do and here's the thing if we get a gold card i'm gonna open one at the end i'm gonna give it to you oh yeah yeah thank you so we'll save that till the end [Music] here is my psa gold shrine of punishment psa none from hidden fates nice this is another psa card except this time it works in my collection because it's gold this is from the 2019 set sun and moon hidden fates it's psa9 i like this card because it's another gold card for the collection and i really like psa things because they go up a lot in value and i haven't really had any psa cards besides for that ekkons so this is my second psa card all right next up did you know that nintendo was actually a playing card company before they created nintendo really like how we play nintendo yes and so i have a deck of playing cards from nintendo this is lugia gotta be very careful with these these are very expensive but look at that pikachu joker right there i'm not gonna open these of course but there's lugia in the back and like i said some people are submitting these to bgs to get these playing cards graded and they're actually worth quite a bit so i might crack this open and we'll see what happens but i really love this edition plus we all love nintendo don't we check out that pikachu right there pikachu is joker he is joker yeah isn't that cool okay now get back [Music] i know you guys are gonna like this one this set isn't even out in the us yet i have hound doom from battle styles this set is soon coming out in america and this is really cool because it features new attacks for the pokemon as you can see right here this is rapidstrike this is a really nice gold card i like it especially because it's from japan i love these japan backs like they look like the old vintage pokemon cards compared to like the regular ones we have in the us i just really enjoy seeing this uh japanese back all right now i'm about to give you what all of you have been looking for oh this is this is it this is an english set one of the final watsi sets that ever came out not skyridge though this is none other than wow aquapolis arcanine entei caesar and tyranitar these are very very valuable they're going for about 800 to a thousand dollars each pack and this is a very rare set it's not found very often not a lot of people open it and these are minty fresh so i can submit them to psa and uh they'll go up in value and add to my collection of sealed watsi packs all right that was fun yeah so we'll see who do you think won the battle i think that uh no matter what you think i think that um having fun is the most important thing right i agree so we're gonna put these away but we're gonna keep this last one we're gonna open it right now and again if there's a gold card in there i'm gonna give it to you but it's okay if there's not there we could find some nice little pikachu promo we'll see what happens so you ready yeah rub it rub it for good luck not too much i'm just kidding okay pack is still really good really nice let's see what do we have we have a pikachu pikachu promo it's not the gold card but that's okay really loving that nice very very nice it's a good car and this is in taiwanese actually really yeah which is really cool that's cool all right we hope you had a good time now don't go
