[Music] well welcome to supernatural life I'm your host Patricia King we have a very special program planned for you today with our our guest Robert Henderson Robert Henderson has just written a brand-new book father friend and judge is three dimensions of Prayer that receive answers from heaven and then so Robert everywhere I go in the world honestly I hear people who have been impacted by your ministry because you broke open some revelation about praying from the courts of heaven and establishing God's ruling authority through our prayer life to settle issues in the earth and it is just spread like wildfire through the body of Christ worldwide so you have many books on that subject on different aspects of it and I really encourage you to go on Roberts website or Amazon or somewhere just look up Robert Henderson and you'll see all the books that are available there absolutely phenomenal and of course you have little mentoring groups and everything that you have as well that they can find out more about on your website yes awesome but I I love the title of this book father friend and judge and of course we're talking about our God is so amazing but I wonder if you could help us just as we begin because some of our viewers might not understand the concept of praying from the courts of heaven yes well you know yeah of course the book goes into that realm because there all the books that I've written in the last few years deal with the court of heaven but the court of heaven is is a legal dimension what I discovered was that is that God sits upon his throne which we all know but that throne is not just a place of worship it's also a place of judicial activity and that we can have a right to come and present our case before him and add our petition him and ask for decisions to be rendered I believe that one of the main things we do in the court is that we silence any accusation that would be against us so that so that any legal right the enemy would be claiming because we know that Jesus died on the cross and that he stripped the enemy of the legal rights but that doesn't stop him from still trying to claim them that's why Peter a New Testament apostle in 1st Peter 5:8 said be sober be vigilant for your adversary and that's the Greek word anti D coast which means one who brings a lawsuit so it's a so Peter was saying the the enemy is occupying a legal position and from that legal position he's looking for the right to devour you because he walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour so what we do is we go before the courts and we we ask and and and decree that the blood of Jesus speaks for us to silence those accusations so that God moves and begins to answer our requests and of course the devil he uses what we call legal rights so that if we transgress the Word of God or the the ways of God he just looks at that and says ok I got you that's right right and so he lands on that and starts to harass but because of what Jesus did on the cross we have freedom through the finished work of the cross where we can come it says if you confess your sin he's faithful and just to forgive you your sin to cleanse you from all unrighteousness and so in your books you discuss all about how we can find our position there it's just amazing yep is it it is amazing because when I went began to understand the course of ever almost 10 years ago now I didn't know if it's gonna become my career I mean it's like it's like I know it's the message the message that God gave me to impregnate the body of Christ with because it has enabled people to get a breakthrough that they couldn't get I mean that's what happened in my own life I got breakthroughs from that revelation and from that that concept that I wasn't able to get any other way I mean breakthroughs in our family I've seen breakthroughs in healing I seen breakthroughs and finances I've seen breakthroughs you know in people coming into new realms of their destiny you know as I travel the nations I teach the nations how to silence the accusation against them and their nations so that revival what God actually wants to happen in their nation can begin to happen and they can have revival and nation within the nation that that the only reason we don't have it now is because principalities are claiming a legal right to actually form culture in their image rather than culture being formed in the image of God and we step into the courts of heaven and we deal with that even from a from national and international levels so it's just an amazing principle once you get it yeah why don't you share a testimony a personal breakthrough you had when you started to discover the power of this type of positioning yeah well you know probably the first one that comes to mind would be my own life Mary and I were going through like it was like it was like everything that had worked and times gone by it wasn't working anymore right and I realized now was almost like the Lord was allowing it so that I would be ready to receive a new concept a new idea and so we didn't we lived a blessed life but then it seemed like we went through about a three year period where everything was being devoured and they didn't matter what I did a prayer I prayed it didn't matter what I did nothing happened and we went from one you know one drama to the next drama to the next drama and I remember I would just like grit my teeth thinking if I can just get through this then I'll make it and we can move on but before I can get through that one something else had piled on top and I know that maybe some people watching us know what that feels like and so I ended up in a setting in a meeting where the people were there they were actually functioning in the courts of heaven I didn't really know what they were doing I never seen it or heard of it I found out later that they couldn't explain it they were just doing it underneath the leadership of the Holy Spirit so what happened was they they helped me walk through some processes and I mean immediately I mean after three years everything shifted in a moment of time and all the devouring stopped and God started a process of restoration that we began to walk through and it's just been one of the most amazing things that we've seen I actually went back to that group and because God began to unfold for me the court of heaven there and I taught them and the leader of the group came to me and they said to me you make me feel like a fool and I said why and they said because you're giving us language for what we've been doing for twenty years but could not explain just orchestrates every part that's really that to me that's really one of my major give maybe even the major gift I have is to is to somehow or another develop language that lets people put you know their faith grandpa so that they can move into the concept is awesome and I know that you've got testimonies from people I mean breakthrough after breakthrough after breakthrough with this type of positioning when you understand your right to go before the courts of heaven and standing on the finished work of the cross and executing you know the justice of God you can settle issues in your family and wayward children and your finances and your health it's amazing so you're gonna you know you're gonna love just getting introduced to this teaching okay so in your book you talk about Jesus taught on different realms of Prayer can you explain that well you know I wish I understood this when I first started teaching on the courts because if I had this would have been my first book but I actually kind of after I wrote the first one I really started getting the view of this that that when Jesus taught on prayer he actually put it in three dimensions to his teaching he taught how to approach God as a father as a friend and then as judge and we see that in Luke II 11 and also Luke 18 in Luke 11 1 and 2 when the disciples said teach us to pray Jesus said when you pray say our Father which art in heaven and so he began to teach us how to approach God his father and course approaching on his father is essential to all praying because because we can never go any deeper in prayer than our revelation of God as our Father allows because Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane at the end of his earthly life in ministry he said Abba Father he's still approaching God his father but then in Luke 11 5 through 8 Jesus begins to tell them how to approach God as a friend and so that's a completely different realm of Prayer and then in Luke 18 1 through 8 to teach the parable of a widow approaching an unjust judge which was Jesus basically saying if this Widow could get a verdict from an unjust judge how much more can we come before God a righteous judge and see him render a verdict in our behalf so Jesus put prayer in those three realms or dimensions and when we move into those realms of dimensions each one has a specific a character about it a specific idea about it that we can actually move into it and what I tell people is if we can discover the protocol of that realm we can actually learn to be very very effective there because we are we are praying to one God yes but you know there's a different relational dimension there that we see and it is just awesome what does it mean to step into a dimension in the spirit yeah when I say a dimension in the spirit we use these terminologies I do anyway with the presence of God came you know and and I don't have a problem with that but when I read the New Testament and even the Old Testament it appears to me that more than God coming to us we actually step into a dimension where he is right in john 14 jesus said that where i am there you may be also so so it's not so much God coming to us as is that we're stepping into a realm where he is into a spiritual dimension so when we learn how to operate in that realm by faith everything start shifting so that what's in heaven can come to earth and so of course you cover this in the book yeah it's just great I remember years ago you know I had enjoyed a sovereign encounter with the Lord and I was I was wanting another one yes and he said you know you can come to me anytime you don't have to wait for me to come to you yes and he reminded me of how it would feel for me with my grandchildren if I just was you know there you know always wanting them to come to me knowing though that I could go to them anytime yes right and he said this is a relationship that I want you to walk in and I want you to come where I am so that's so good so good and of course in your book you explain that so well we're going to take a break right now and we'll be right back because we want you to get more insight on how to approach God in prayer as father friend and judge [Music] well welcome back I know that you are eager to find out what it all means to approach God as father friend and judge and so let's start with father okay okay well as I said earlier you know the approach he got his father or having a revelation of God his father is basic to all praying and I think that that's why Jesus put it first he said when you pray say our Father because even the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:15 he said he sends the spirit of adoption into our hearts whereby we cry out Abba Father and so when the Holy Spirit comes into our lives he actually creates a longing he brings a revelation of God his father which creates a longing for us to approach him because it said it creates that cry so out of the revelation of who God is his father we began to approach him we began to step into that realm and as I said earlier it's not so much God coming to us as it is we stepping into a dimension where it is and I believe that when we approach him as father we step into a place called the secret place because Matthew 6:6 says he says it says when we when we approach God his father or when you pray he said pray your pray to your father who is in secret then the father who sees you in secret will reward you openly so in other words Jesus is saying we approach the father and we step into a secret place which is a place of intimacy where we relate to God now the thing I love about that it says the father who sees in secret rewards you openly so we are actually able to function in this secret place in the unseen realm through our faith and activity there that releases something that will be seen in the natural realm so so that's what people have to understand we that's that's how we move through that through that dimension of approaching God as father and when I look at the difference of like a father a friend and a judge even in the natural I would approach each one separate yes right very differently like a father I think okay a father provides for his children gives counsel to his children watches over his children you know disciplines his children so there's a role a fatherhood that a friend doesn't have a judge says that's right so we need to get to know him his father and it's interesting that Jesus said pray our Father he didn't say pray our judge in now - wha in that context so it is really awesome and especially when we're talking about the secret place that's where we get to know intimately the heart of the Father yes I believe that I believe that in a and you know there's Christmas pretension and that secret place Psalms 91 all sorts of different they shine yeah yeah in it and it's a place of deep intimacy yeah with it with with the Lord as our Father yes so good okay and then what dimension does approaching God as a friend open up for yes well I think when we approach God his friend from what I can see in Scripture it seems that we that the counsel of the Lord is opened up see and that's Jeremiah 23 18 who has stood in the counsel of the Lord who is who has heard his word who is who has marked his word and so Jeremiah was actually saying that he was comparing himself to the false prophets he's saying if you're a real prophet you know what the counsel of the Lord but seeing we as New Testament believers I believe everyone of us has access into the counsel of the Lord so you see in the Old Testament maybe the prophets only had access there but in the New Testament the Bible says that he would pour his spirit upon all flesh and we would his sons and his daughters would prophesy all these kind of things so we all have the ability to step into this counsel of the Lord and that is a tremendous place because if you I mean there's several places in scripture where you see the counsel but one of the primary ones is Abraham in Genesis 18 when he is standing before God in behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah because Abraham is God's friend right so what does Abraham do as the friend of God he is standing in behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah and he stood he actually stood between god and sodom and gomorrah which is what a friend does a friend stands before God and pleads another's case because that's exactly what Jesus said in John our streaming in matthew 11:5 2:8 he talked about a friend who comes who had a friend come to him who then because he couldn't meet the need of the frame went to another friend which was God to get resources so this this friends needs could be met so it's a picture of a friend standing between two friends and so what we do when were the friend of God we actually take a position where that we are used by God to plead to him and before him in behalf of another friend and so it's a place of intercession but but I believe we do that from the counsel of the Lord because there's so many things about the counsel but but but from the counsel of the Lord we can see God's heart released into humanity into into the needs of others know when when someone is growing up and they're they're being cared for by their father they're being nurtured by their father disciplined by their father taught by their father that's not really the time to develop peer friendship like friendships more like a peer relationships so that's good in a way I mean I love the progression father friend and judge because I believe you have to know the father as father first before you can negotiate with him as a friend I grow I sell ibly so I love the progression that you use here and I love the example of Abraham because he said I'm not going to do anything without letting you know that's right and then he let him negotiate he let him you know question feedback hey let's talk about this let's do something different that's what friends do children can't do that with her with an appearance in the same way but when you relate to God as a friend and Jesus said you're my friend if you obey that's right he said he said there he said I no longer call you servants I call you friends because I tell you all that the father's telling me right so in other words friends no secrets right they know the secrets and and see that's what God did with Abraham God told him a secret I'm gonna destroy Sodom and Gomorrah it was secret no other thing and this is what I tell people of this if God had told me a secret I was like oh I'm supposed to prophesy that secret but no Abraham wasn't supposed to prophesy the secret he was supposed to pray from the secret Wow I love it so he prayed from the secret and it to seek to see God's heart release in humanity all right so the final one is what dimension does approaching God as judge open yes and that's the courts of heaven and when I first started teaching on the courts of heaven I inadvertently made it seem like it was a method of pray but I went back and I said the court of heaven is not a method of praying it is a dimension of the Spirit and so we step into this place where we are allowed by God to deal with any legality that would be resisting us our God's will in the earth and God allows us to stand and plead a case if you will petition the courts but tuition but petitioning his judge and and watch legal things be said in the place so that the passion of God can be fulfilled in the our life you know I was just in Taiwan and I was telling people I said you know what I said why would we think we have to convince God to do something he already wants to do cause it's not the Lord that's resisting us it's the enemy claiming a legal right they're stopping it so God says I use you to stand before me to remove that legal right so that my passion can be fulfilled in the earth and God's just waiting to make a verdict on our behalf absolutely right but he needs us to come before him in order to do it and that's what your book teaches absolutely one thing that tell but we don't go before him is judge because we're being judged right we go before misjudge and present cases that lets him judge the adversary exactly Amen well this is so exciting we're going to take a break in a moment but you know when I think of these open dimensions to us like we have these open dimensions that the father says come know me as father I want to have relationship with you his father come know me his friend come know me as judge because I don't want to do anything in the in the universe without you I mean I'm I'm waiting to make verdicts but I'm not gonna do it without you that's right and I just love it because he's he's so personable and so often people think he's so far off and you know they can't connect but here's this God just you know inviting us into these deep realms and again because Jesus came to save and not to judge can you explain more yeah well I understand the question definitely but what people need to understand as I think I said in the last second right is that when we come before him his judge it's not because he's judging us it's because he is allowing us to present cases that allows him to judge the adversary and judge the enemy see in Luke 18 that's what happened with the woman the woman kept presenting her case until a judgment came against her adversary that allowed whatever the case was he was bringing against her to be dismissed and to be removed so we're not being judged by God we are actually presenting cases that let allows God the legal right to render his judgments against the devil there's I just love that okay next question can all believers go into the courts of heaven absolutely because I say if it's not accessible to all of us and it's not a valid it's another valid idea because when Jesus died on the cross for instance Hebrews chapter 10 the Bible says that we have access into the holiest of Holies by the blood of Jesus so Jesus's blood gives us access into all of these dimensions including the courts of heaven and you know there are some that would make it seem like only people with some special knowledge can do this and I really contend against that I say no if everybody can't do it then it's not a valid thing we all by faith and step into this place that Jesus made it accessible to us by what he did for us on the cross all the problem and all the truth of the word is for all absolutely everything that Jesus came to give us was the fullness of who he is the fullness of all that he has all authority heaven and on earth has been given unto him which he gave to us and I mean it's so clear in the scripture yes it is awesome that the father would open up the kingdom to us in such a way and say come and explore it absolutely I'm gonna enjoy my marvelous can absolutely I'm your father I'm your friend I'm your judge and I want you to know all these realms all these dimensions very good absolutely it is so wonderful yes well I'd love to invite you to you know give some closing remarks for the people anything that you think would be a great encouragement for our viewer solution and also just pray however the Lord leads you well you know all you that are watching today I just want to I just want you to know first of all how much God loves you and how much he desires for you to come into his presence he longs for us to come and fellowship with him and commune with him but as we do you will you will discover that you could step into these realms of approaching God as a father into the secret place approaching him as friend into the counsel of the Lord and then approaching him as judge and step into the courts of heaven or actually we grant him the right to judge issues that would be hindering everything that God wants to do in in us through us and for us so I would just like to pray for you today if you would allow this and any breakthrough that you need let's believe God together so father I just want to thank you that even as we're sitting here on this program today I want to thank you that your grace and your anointing is moving over your people and Lord I open by faith to them this whole realm of approaching you as father and any that have been wounded by insufficient fathering or even abusive fathering or would you change their perspective of what a father is especially who you are as father but would you open the realm of being a friend well would you just let us step into that place of being your friend and you being our friend and allow us to stand in the counsel of the Lord for your will and purpose not only be done in our lives but in the lives of other people Lord that desperately need a touch from you and then Lord also I ask would you just let us step into the realms of the court of heaven and begin to present our case Lord before you that would allow you the right to bring judgment against the powers of darkness that would be bringing destruction or devouring in any and every life I thank you Lord for doing that today in Jesus name let this revelation increase and bless and touch your people in Jesus name Amen that is so powerful and I know that a number of you watching our intercessors - that this this revelation of these realms is going to take you to a whole new level as you execute God's kingdom his righteousness in the earth thank you so much for joining us today on the supernatural life you know it's been an honor
