[Music] [Music] welcome to showbox derby battle here we go dude perfect rules this battle are simple each dude must build their own soapbox car to race down the track the three guys with the fastest time in the first round move on to the finale guys purple hoes are checking in what's up friend it's kobe what's up guys it's gonna be a little bit longer wheelbase which i think is okay as long as i don't bottom out i'm gonna build this to be like an old school like oregon trail wagon kind of wood around the sides maybe put a canopy up top i've got some 50 gallon drums that i'm going to set as the body that's the plan could change over time that's what we're going for what's up guys corey checking in with the dolly trolley as you can see i've got a really solid base i'm going for kind of an unbreakable vibe here and if i need just a little extra at the end to win all right i have just de-symboled a perfectly good wheelbarrow this will be my seat and then i removed the front wheels of two different youth bikes sorry kids hope there's no ramps on the course today's mission is simple get a chubby dubby that's a win a victory a w i actually think we can do it [Music] cowboy wagons coming unbelievable all right i am welding up a little bracket to attach my two wheelbarrow wheels to the back of my vehicle and if you don't know how to weld then probably don't don't even attempt it it's speed just take it nice and easy off to a really hot start here going through the zigzags he's going through the first kicker right now big air oh trying to weasel his way out of the hay [Music] he is going to be slow coming over these jumps folks oh corey go corey turn it up it's going to be close i don't know he may have done it if he can stay on for this jump oh he does a fist pump for core 54 seconds i made a tough decision i went straight to the hate mail we saw that didn't seem like it was that type of a decision i felt in the moment i felt like if i tried to make a quick turn i was going to tumble and i just needed to take it so i did it's a decent chance i'm going to the finale we'll see tt checking into the game downhill bomber ready to do work we're going to try and minimize turns get down there quick make the finale here we go in three two one go and the downhill bombers off and ooh fast start big vehicle good momentum going for ty [Music] look at the seriousness good felt like kobe up next he's trying to take the first step in what would be a chub dub we'll see this hill is a lot higher than i was thinking guys it's time for the first step in the chubby dummy if i don't win i want him to win i'm team cubs always have been so rooting for the kid here three two one go off and the hopes of a chub dub are underway he definitely was on two wheels maybe even one be some structural damage to his vehicle oh this thing's coming to a screeching halt right by the finish line i don't know if he's gonna do it with an official time of 58 seconds gary hilbert is whole right wheels just went whoo i'm testing out the head first mindset you shouldn't do that it's a really bad idea you really should not do that i think it'll hurt less if i go head first you're should have gone head first you're dead last son 120. well i can't wait to watch finale i'm looking for a lot of destruction boy i would love to talk trash to you but i lost this guy does this mean the chubby dubby's still available chubby dubby is still in place [Music] finale is set it's twins and tt let's go downhill bomber speaking of dubs i hate to steal the chubby dubby cubby but i'm doing
