from Dollar Tree to super easy Amazon hacks I've got you covered if you've got an outdated home or maybe a space you just don't like I made this video specifically for you today we are talking about easy peel and stick hacks never before shared ideas so you too can become a peel and stick Guru I've done this a lot I've got some brand new ideas to share with you as well as how these old ones held up so your home can be transformed out of dime so the first thing I want to start off with is your windows especially if you've got privacy issues in your house I have an amazing peel and stick trick that is about $17 on Amazon now I decided to share this because it recently went on sale there is an amazing brand called Artscape I am not sponsored at all but this product is fantastic they have so many different options for peel and stick on your windows and this is so easy to apply now Dollar Tree sells a peel and stick window cling I've used it in my house and I absolutely love it this is an amazing $12 5 option frosted window film from Dollar Tree is literally a 10 out of 10 if you live in tight quarters or you want to have all the light come in your house but people can't see in they have multiple patterns and you can see the side tells you which pattern that you get I adore this in our house but if you can't find this in store I like this brand even better the designs are so cool they have everything from geometric designs to what looks like old historic homes they even have a beautiful what appears to be stained glass windows I'll be sure to link everything down below so I decided to test out this product and absolutely loved it and what is more if you are not a math girly and you do not like having to make things like perfectly measured this product is for you because all you have to do is peel off the back and we had a unique art- shaped window that we were working with and I just had a big enough piece and I set it over the window and then I was able to cut it with an exacto knife this works like a standard peel and stick sticker you know the removable kind that you would put on the back of your car when your kid does well in school that that's kind of the feel of this but it's really high quality literally this offers UV protection it's fade resistant it's also made in the USA let me know in the comments which of these you like better this is the Regent design which I thought looked perfect on the kitchen window but you see how this works just like a window cling I just put it on the window it went right up to the edges and a little bit over which is perfect because this Cuts really easily with an X-Acto now you want to adhere this to the window and this is super easy to do you just need a spray bottle mixed with a few pumps of dish soap and water what I like to do is spray this on half of the window and then pull the window cling back and lay it back over and then go over it with a squeegee you'll watch all the water and air bubbles come out you can see I did the same thing up here peeling back half and then going over with a squeegee y'all this is some seriously satisfying stuff you seal it with another spray over top the quality on this is unmatched for under $20 I couldn't recommend this more maybe it's just because I remember as a kid sitting in church and looking up at the stained glass windows and just being so mesmerized by them I adored this especially on this Arch shaped feature we had some extra left over so we also added this to the front door which adds a really cool Touch of Whimsy the vinyl is really quality as well this gets five stars in doing on a dimes book and I would love to know what you think of the other window too I think this really matches my kitchen and looks so awesome what do you think all of this is renter friendly including this next trick Gallery glass now this is not the first time that I've shared this in a video but it is worth re-sharing and sharing how it comes off cuz I think that's almost just as important to see this looks like Elmer's glue but trust it is much better than Elmer's this is going to dry completely clear you can find the bottles online I'll link it down below and this dries completely clear so if you have any privacy issues this is such a great trick and yes it is renter friendly not only does this last longer than like a Glue wood cuz trust me like I've tried both I try all the hacks for you guys this also peels right off really easily I've used this in bathrooms and front doors and I just want to show you remember that arched window all right this is what we did before and this peels right off super easy to use now this next trick is one of my favorites the peel and stick vinyl tiles at the hardware store are awesome they have so many more designs than they ever used to and they're only .39 each so for like under eight bucks you could literally redo under your sink now this is one of my favorite tricks now my under the sink looks pretty good because I don't have a lot of water damage but if you add tiles to this and caul in between these cut really easily I'm talking all you need is a box cutter xacto knife and these slice almost like butter and honestly like I said I'm not great at math I truly just eyeball this putting it in and it always looks great this is the third sink that I've done like this and then I add some caul in between each of the joints that way it's going to be waterproof as well especially if live in an older home this is such a great trick so affordable anything under $10 I am all for that this is my old syn and it's held up for over 5 years now when it comes to items at the actual Dollar Tree I'm talking the peel and stick wallpaper there should be at your store an entire section of this not only do I want to share with you a brand new hack in this video I also want to share with you how old projects have held up because there's a lot of questions about it I've applied it in bathrooms I've even applied it on the ceiling but you can also use this as a DIY wallpaper specifically with the flowers do you remember when my production assistant and I found these in store I like the gold accents but I don't know if it's right for my house and the succulents are beautiful like I really like that I got my peonies girl girl and look on the back stunning boom they almost look like a really Quality Painting I also love that this says just one more because that's our motto I love you so much more holy cow I was so excited we bought them and we had a thrifted piece that she actually inherited from her mother-in-law she was planning on selling it but it wasn't moving on Facebook Marketplace so we decided to add some cool elements to the inside we used about six of these flower sheets and added them to the back and it kind of gave the look of faux wallpaper we even went to the Dollar Tree and added some custom lighting they have amazing for $5 push lights that also are on a remote control you could go in any Direction with this we kind of went more of like the Vintage Grandma Chic I would love to know what you think I get a lot of questions about this stuff I just want to show you how these peel back and off really easily so we could kind of be fungible with this move these around and find just the right pattern always test in an inconspicuous area first when you're applying wall decals these do not do well on flat paint or very varnished surfaces but in my experience it's worked well on most wood I would love to hear yours too now in the last video I posted it was about a year ago now so many of you said yeah that looks great Catherine but how does it last how much does it actually cost so this wall behind me I did for under $30 and it's still going strong almost a year later come here let me show you it looks exactly the same as the day that I installed it now this peel and stick bathroom tile is from the Dollar Tree my kids shower every single day in here so there's a ton of humidity the vent fan is not that great and I just want to show you how well this has come up like this is an honest assessment of the Dollar Tree paper so if you come here there's only two small spots where it kind of peeled back but you can fix this by adding a small dot of Nano tape right onto the back and read adhering it and when removing this you want to add a little bit of heat to it so I like to add a hair dryer on top and then you can peel it back very gently and it comes off great I also want to show you a more high-end peel and stick wallpaper that I highly recommend this is one of my absolute favorites it is beautiful it comes in so many different patterns it gives such a unique feel to any room I am going to link my favorite brand down below I am not sponsored but this product is awesome and I do have a secret for peel and stick items like this will make sure if you want the application that doesn't have the bubbles in it just listen to this okay I want you to pick one corner to align the first piece I usually pick the upper right hand corner I align one top and one side and then I go in align all the way along the top that's going to give me the right angle that I'm looking for what you want to do is find the center move down into the middle and then apply outward this way and that is going to help eliminate the bubbles and I always use a squeegee that's whether I'm using Dollar Tree peel and stick wallpaper or a nicer brand this is going to give you the best and most cohesive look and what's really great is all of this is fungible you can move it around and if you make a mistake it's easy to remove it back and just try again so the house I was working in had this beautiful curved wall and they just never knew what to to put up there right it was really hard to find something art wouldn't fit because of that beautiful architectural design it's very like creative and so things that require a lot of precision I'm often like no thank you but this is a level of precision that is it's attainable it's a doable thing look at that oh girl it and we did this in under 20 minutes this was super easy to do and what's more it's easy to cut another really quick trick with peel and stick wallpaper is I actually don't use xacto knives for this I like to use the edge of scissors I find it gives a cleaner cut and then I just go right along the molding and you have to remember houses are not perfect there's imperfections in them sometimes walls aren't perfect rectangles or perfect squares and so I like to work with what I have been given it's okay if not everything is exact you want the wallpaper to be customized to the wall itself and so after I get it up then I go ahead and I trim along the edges I always overestimate the coverage that I need and apply outward away from the wall and then I trim back it's way easier than measuring and realizing you came up short when applying second pieces I use a lot of painters tape that way I can make sure that the design is aligned and it's going to look like it's one solid piece this is a really great way to do this quickly and I never aim for Perfection especially with something like this this product in particular is really forgiving and makes such a big difference give this video a thumbs up it helps to bring it to more people just like you my beautiful friend if nobody has told you today you are enough I'll catch you soon because I'm worried if our math is off to any capacity would our math ever be off wouldn't yes
