transform into a really cool bear i don't know what my intros are anymore what was that today i'm really excited because i found a new interesting music creator on youtube which never happens let's be real our community is so niche and so just like hidden so whenever i see anything i'm just excited this guy is called finn draper and one of the interesting things he does is he plays a lot of things on drinking glasses i think he's pretty big on tech talk and instagram and stuff but he's pretty new to youtube so make sure to check him out finn draper i found him because this video was in my recommended blinding lights but it's a towel kind of reminds me underhuang a little bit in like using something to find a bunch of noises in an item i remember for example andrew huang a while back did a video on fidget spinners [Music] so yeah this is kind of a continuation of that but finn at least in this video shows a little bit more of the process and stuff so yeah he's finding base notes here in the towel [Music] oh i've got a towel why am i wiping my forehead something i really enjoyed watching this video was how irritated it is throughout i can relate to it so much when you're doing these types of things when you're not really using your normal tools and stuff it can be really frustrating to get the right sounds melody is gonna be probably the hardest bit what i'm gonna do pull out these threads in the towel you want to twist it right oh my finger i know how much effort this is i'm really impressed and it's so fun to see new music creators we never see it so i wanted to send got it into this very stew-do-ish mindset but this reminds me that really raw stuff can be super fun i feel like youtube is getting more and more produced and more and more corporate remember when we used to make fun of buzzfeed and like how corporate it was and now someone like mr beast has a hundred employees there's nothing wrong with that i'm definitely not hating on it and i'm doing similar stuff myself like i'm expanding my team another person i really like that the similar stuff but in another genre it's liam thompson if you've ever seen it william thompson he does amazing just fun concepts as well reminds me of have you guys seen this one this is an old video 10 years ago flight of the bumblebee on 101 bottles and it's just fun reminds me so much of this there's a bunch of dudes having fun i hope they didn't drink all of those adult beverages that would be too much bro okay back to finn i actually think he lives really close to me am i trying to meet up with him when with a lot of walk of the earth stuff when they do they're kind of like oh it's live but it's also pre-recorded i think they go through some effort of trying to make it sound like it's in kind of a this should probably get old pretty quickly but i'm like entertained so far into this this concept really works actually i kind of want to do a setup myself just see if i can do it i don't have any pedals and stuff here i just put up some glasses what's the song i could play i don't even know i'm going to do it very slow and very bad let's do it and so on beautiful very smooth just as well practiced as fin draper stuff of course whoa that took me like 20 minutes by the way guys you only have a few days left to get the pretties we got the don't worry it's apple juice shirts get them so i he brings in his friends does some looping got a little some little kettlebells in the back which you know make the video a lot better immediately got some giraffes you know what i'm talking about i most of this is live i don't think we need to question that at this point oh so impressive oh he messed up idiot now you can't do anything now you're a buffoo you thought you were good while you were but then you spilled the waters now i feel superior dude [Music] so freaking dope [Music] awesome hello i jumped out with a shoe with a stick on it oh dope another type of setup i had a bunch of these setups repaired back when i was doing covers that i never did anything with i had this thing where i had like a drum pad thing to the right and i had piano to the left and like a microphone and i think i was wearing like a guitar as well i'm gonna see if i can find it but it was very similar to this where like tried to make a very intricate performance setup alright here it is beats test pervid 38264 beautiful name i never released this i don't see what it's like just a test oh yeah [Music] so it's a lot of just like making a setup making sure the right things are on the right notes and stuff i was so obsessed with this this took me like days to figure out and you know sound design and everything and i wanted to sing while playing it but it was just so much practice i was like i won't do it dang this is so long ago [Music] so yeah that was me kind of trying to do this stuff let's see his sticker mode is down freezing cold that's how we already know wind is here my dog will probably do it for louie bell that's just all we know we don't know nothing else i try to show oh yeah there is like a weird snare fill in this yeah [Music] yes yes yes for some reason i'm just in love with these live ones they're so funny [Music] i wonder how much of this is like you have to kind of be a drummer to appreciate some of it i'm sure it's super impressive everyone but like these types of combinations of what he's doing with his hands and his features like it's a drummer stuff that can drive you crazy sometimes and it needs a lot of figuring out some time very impressive [Music] funny editing brooklyn nine-nine it says in the back do you think it might be the song from brooklyn nine-nine that's like my favorite show guys if it is i'm gonna go crazy hey the bee went away [Music] i really hope that this works out for him on youtube it is just really hard to make this type of like high effort music-y content work on youtube because the things are usually very short so i would love it if you guys went and supported him [Music] it doesn't seem to do a lot of the vocals lie which i can get because it's a lot to think about anyway but it is a little bit weird always to me when people mix lip syncing with live stuff because a lot of this is live obviously but [Music] oh yeah i just realized i think he mics this all up with that microphone right which would mean that in order for him to auto tune the vocals which he's you know obviously doing doesn't mean that he's a bad singer but it is tuned which would mean that it would probably be hard to tune it with the other stuff going into the mic without it messing with it so i don't think he can record the vocals live dope check out his stuff on facebook on instagram i think he's really talented probably my favorite blow up of this year i don't think he was around on youtube before this year okay did upload stuff like two three years ago but not really that much until like nine months ago and that's when
