look at somebody near you until him has God got a word for you and uh those of you that have the kingdoms Constitution your holy Bibles however you acquire the scripture by your devices or the written word would you navigate your way through the scripture and find the Gospel of Luke chapter number thirteen Luke's Gospel chapter number thirteen and what she found that in honor and in deference to the Spirit of God in His Holy Word would you rest upon your feet for the reading of Holy Scripture Luke's Gospel chapter number thirteen and if you have it in your Bibles of the kid they say by saying Amen there were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices and Jesus answering said unto them suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans because they suffered such things I tell you nay but except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish all those eighteen upon whom on whom the tower in Siloam fell and and slew them thinkI that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem and tell you nay but except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish he speak also this parable a certain man had a fig tree planted it in his vineyard and he came and sought food thereon and found none then he said unto the dresser of the vineyard behold these three years I come seeking food on this victory and find none cut it down why come burov it the crown and he answered and said unto Him Lord and let it alone this year till I dig about it and dung it and if it bear fruit well and if not then after that thou shall cut it thank you you may be seated the grass withereth and the flower fadeth but the word of our God will stand forever for the moments that remain I'd like to reason to review this evening from this subject working with negatives to get a better picture just look at someone and tell him God is working with your negatives to get a better picture lives miserable melancholy moments caused us to reach a point where God is no longer an exclamation point he becomes a question mark no wonder Rabbi Joshua Herschel says sadly but sagaciously we come to worship through questions I think that if we would be honest for just a moment to that while in the midst of glamorous worship tonight there are some of us who would admit that there are seasons in life where there are dark depressive and dismal days of disappointment where life makes absolutely no sense man I think it's I think it's good for those moments to save and God is an exclamation point he woke me up this morning exclamation point he baptized me in the Holy Spirit exclamation party always makes a way in opens doors and he blesses me beyond that that I deserved but there are moments and might I parents directly stop and say that honesty begs me to take the witness stand and share with you that I do sometimes have questions because I want to know God why and can I share with you that God is not intimidated by our questioning I share with you that there are those who find themselves with this wonderful and zealous desire to be godly and thinking that because they would not dare question God that it's some kind of way modifies their spirituality but I want to share with you this evening that God is not intimidated by your questions tell somebody ask him what you wanna ask life sometimes becomes crazy and life becomes sometimes impossible and I want you to know beloved I'm sorry I have had to change my theological posture I used to preach like other bridges God won't put on you more than you can bear but I retract that statement he will he will he will ask Paul Paul said it was so much till I told him take it off of me three separate times and then he said my grace of God I thank you and so tonight he says to you I have given you more than you can handle so you can experience my grace just tell somebody sometimes I want to know I want to know because life sometimes is not fair I'm looking at Shakespeare's Macbeth who says and I quote that that life is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing well we can't get with Macbeth let's try that sage from the street that poet from the pavement he's known as jay-z he says and I quote my pops got a liver disorder I just got his living room ordered and now my whole life is disordered in other words jay-z was trying to say by the time he was connected with the father who had estranged himself from he and his mother when he was a child by the time he's now reconnected this father has a liver disorder and he dies just at the time then he had purchased a new home for him tell somebody life happens well you can't get with Macbeth we can't get with jay-z maybe we'll try the dr. Martin Luther King jr. who after the bombing of those four girls that were killed at the 16th Church 16th Street Church in Birmingham Alabama I hear dr. King saying life is a long disabled desolate quarter with no exit signs I hear you talking to me saying pastor Rogers I can't get with this but I want you to know how big your Bible is and how spiritual you are there are days when it becomes hard for you God becomes a question mark okay so we can't deal with all these secular figures that I just mentioned maybe we'll go to the Bible the Bible says that there is a man by the name of Gideon and the angel of the Lord appears up to Gideon and says Gideon thou art a mighty man of Valor I did hear him say yo G you a mighty man of Valor and Gideon responds check out his clap back he says if I'm such a mighty man of that why is all this happening to me and if you live long enough you will have the same testimony if all that in god why is all of this to me but I come to tell you he knows the way that you take and when you have been tried you will come forth as coal can I help you here it's in the Book of Jeremiah Jeremiah at the same book that's a named after him around the 8th chapter you will hear him say and I quote is there no balm in Gilead tell metell tell somebody it's a question now is there no physician there then why is it that the health of the countenance of my people not restored ok so then you can't handle Jeremiah and you can't handle Gideon well maybe let's try this one on for size took somebody to tell them Jesus had questions are you for real pastor yes indeed ah hi he's hanging now between the 6th and the 9th hour between two thieves my god is blood profusely coming from his body and he's convulsing on the cross God now because God can't die so God leaves the body my god Wow what tell somebody I just want to know why why have you before shaking me get to the place where the Omega starts that makes sense and I need God don't no longer be a question mark I needed to become an exclamation point but before he can be an exclamation point you've got to get those answers resolved and so it is tonight as I rush on to conclude that of the matter is all of us have come to this conference now with questions why did my loved one die I prayed and believed going to heal them why aren't my finances improved I have given tithe and offering offering and been a faithful steward why are things the way they are in my life why aren't relationships improve why as my marriage not been enhanced why have my children now fallen into a state of rebellion and I want you to know that God says I need you to know these negatives working on your behalf let me stop now parenthetically and do you about a friend of a friend I've got a pastor friend of mine in Houston Texas he told me he was on his way back as it were for Minneapolis st. Paul and stopped in his mediation stop his intermediate stop and in his waiting for his flight back to Houston he saw one of his former members whose name was Rashad Rashad was known as a very brilliant young man but what stood out more than anything else is that whatever your shard was you'd always see hanging around his neck a 35-millimeter after talking to him the pastor said hey man where's your camera he said pastor you don't wanna know man I've been through so much since I've seen you last he said what happened to me once I was walking across the street and as I was walking across the street a man comes barreling through a red light and he almost hit me but he pushed me back so far under the camera flew off my neck and it's shattered he said what makes it so bad was that my father gave it to me he said to add insult to injury not did he not only did he almost hit me but he went on and mowed down a little girl who almost was killed and sometimes you wanna know how is it that people can get away with things that are so horrific sometimes I want to know what is it what is it I do what God says do and I can barely make meat ever ends meat I can barely get things together while there's some hedonistic somebody out there who barely never misses anything that good happen in life you want to know sometimes what in the world is born or why does it seem like the unrighteous never get a headache and the next thing we hear are number one of the members of the church has now died from pencil why in the world is God up do you tell somebody I just want to know what okay now let's deal with this world moment we're in the text now and then here they come to Jesus and they're telling him Lord did you hear about Pilate mixing the blood of those who were killed some of the Saints that were killed with the sacrifice that is offered he says to them and I quote don't think for a moment that those particular Galileans were worse sinners than you all he says unless you repent you will likewise perish he says all like those eight that were killed by the Tower of Siloam that fell do you think that they were worse than you all are he says change mine I tell somebody life happens to us all no one is exempt you have your time I have my time I want you to know before this year is over some of us are going to have a season that says God I've got some questions but how many know God's ready to settle the score tonight came all the way from Virginia to tell somebody that God's getting ready to turn this thing in your favor know who I'm preaching to but I need somebody to know that God sent me here you know that is working for your good needs be right now to slip on your dancing shoes it's been a while since you've a choice it's been a while since you tell a real authentic praise I'm not talking about something that stimulated by the bad and thank God for these are mounted minstrels what I'm talking about when you're at home you know I have a band there but something on these motivates our praise thank you I'm talking about a private dancer when you're in the club yourself and you begin to question pause this is the most tumultuous time I've ever had what's going on but right there the light on the corner you begin to say know that all things work together to the Paul departing to his purpose touch somebody and tell him he's working on my negatives did she hear what I said I need some you just start giving God praise because the things you thought that we're going to kill you are the things that are poison to it take you to another dimension look at somebody tell them God is using your negative so I want somebody to change your posture shift the paradigm of your thinking let the devil know shoot your best shot because if you could have killed me you would have by now but unto Him that's able to do exceeding I feel the preacher here now look at your neighbor tell em oh it's turning around for me did you hear what I said I had so many questions and so many doubts I need some real folk who will have your hand up and say I've had some doubts but God told me to tell you he's turning your doubting into shouting tonight the road is rough also hard to climb but us tell somebody I'm not a rookie this ain't my first rodeo or swim Paris or survive I'm gonna stay with God tell somebody I'm out here now I'm so close to victory I can taste it and while I'm here I might as well prophesy and tell somebody you're one prays away from your breakthrough what letter preacher tell me that was one prays away and sit there with my mouth closed and my arms folded peace if God said you're one pray so open your mouth period people make me hurt myself I'll be there in just a touch your neighbor tell him your one Bray's away deejay de when I say he's working with your negatives I need everybody to collect them that's right I need you to want you to pull somebody if you don't hear anything God is working on it if you don't see anything the Bible says that Jesus now turns in the text that gives them a parabolic statement he said there was a man who had a vineyard in that beard was something odd there was a fig less victory tell somebody there's something wrong with that picture there was a fitness victory why doesn't the victory have any fruit on it the owner becomes concerned and says this has happened buffer I really post anything but I do read everything y'all posting but somebody do me a favor touching a I'm I'm here to post up Hey [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] I promise you I speak over every pastor here tonight such a labor Tom the season of favor as just hate your life to the glory of God [Music] [Applause] two years ago I looked at this building bishop that was perfect for our ministry they asked for 3.5 million dollars and I did not have 3.5 I did not have to point at the time I didn't have 1.5 I just had fun so I waited tell somebody he waited and that's a word for about 50 people in hit tell somebody again and tell him he waited so I waited two more years I asked my chief of staff I said check out that property see what's going on he came back and said to me pastor dropped a whole million dollars they 12.5 touch a name and tell them by that time Bishop went to five and an extra five see how good god is in two years make them an offer tell them I'm offering them 1.9 million dollars they said to me we'll consider it we need the following things to be done and carry out due diligence I did everything they asked me to do towards last year's end I received another call stating there's another interested party give us your best offer I just told you [Applause] [Music] the offer I gave you was what I was approved two weeks later not a phone call but an email pastor Rogers thank you for your interest sorry to share with you the other party bid the other party's bid came in higher than you all thank you for your interest blessings in your person Saints and I knew y'all Superman saved pretty much kept in the loop I got in the bed depressed I couldn't face my board to tell them we didn't get to the deal I dared not tell my members my father had just been at the church two weeks prior and guess what his message was you've been approved it's time to move there's my son him and my telling the truth son huh I wouldn't lie to you I wouldn't lie you've been approved it's time to move [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so tell somebody he's got questions Lord you just said he's been approved time to move nineties people talking about my deal came to church that Sunday and here the Bunning life y'all know what I'm talking about tell somebody they had one of those kind of services I mean knock-down drag-out priest can't stand the minister I don't know what's going on people are bonkers they running in each other I'm just saying - they're crying so what should I do I'm glad I go back and sit in my seat and the Lord said praise to get on my knees I start praying and that's I'm praying the Lord said listen tell the people sanctify yourself for on tomorrow I will do wonders above you he says now get up off your knees and tell everybody meet you at 6 a.m. Monday morning am i telling the truth son I told the Saints get up at 6 a.m. and meet me at the church I'm pulling in around 5:45 you thought I was handing out $100 bills all up and down High Street cars everywhere the only cars with the Saints cause there's nobody now can I tell you something good news travel sometimes as fast is bad that one that church Sunday whatare monday more and we prayed from six to seven I went home because I did what God said pastor had a good time and I would honestly around 1 o'clock in the afternoon my chief of staff called me and said pastor check your email and call me back the email read to Rogers it seems as if the offer [Applause] [Applause] [Music] somebody's got a transaction when they come up touch your neighbor to the neighbor okay who put it what God has for you spike [Applause] makes us feel Hong Kong city here [Music] [Applause] today the term neighbor somebody's a telepath never lose your identity enemy wants you to change to accommodate people but touch your neighbor tell him neighbor Oh look at you there B'Tselem neighbor and who you are is to open doors for you I wish somebody in the back would get that tell somebody get who you are is going open doors for you and lady Melanie cannot tell you the dog that God's gonna open for all of us don't have no knob on it Cindy the door that God's gonna open for us don't have no handle on it may become the door that God's gonna open it's like the door at the supermarket like the door at the mall [Applause] [Applause] tell somebody but you got her -
