FAMILY CAMPING VLOG | FULL SET UP & SITE REVIEW | BERGHAUS AIR 6

[Music] hey everyone in today's video we are taking you guys with us to Wales on a little road trip so we're going camping this weekend we have a big-ass air tent which we are going to obviously set up and I filmed a bit of the pack in which you will see in a minute and obviously we're going to set up show you guys what we take with us obviously for a weekend and it's just myself and psy and Brody today because Georgia doesn't really like camping hello darkness my old friend anyhow so it's just us three so obviously we've not got as much stuff but the van is packed like we've got a big van and it's still packed with loads of stuff so I'm going to be showing you what we take I hope this video can help any of you families out there that go camping we love to go camping we used to have a caravan and obviously we sold that because it was just a little bit too expensive to keep on the drive we weren't using it enough Georgia really didn't want to go with us so we bought a ten so we could carry on camping obviously with Brody so this weekend George is staying with Becker and if you haven't already been give it a thumbs up and obviously we'll be making lots of different videos of random stuff we do as a family so enjoy guys okay so we normally take stuff out the shed the night before so we start taking stuff out yesterday we are going camping today so everything is ready really to just put it in the van so we've got and the inflatable mattresses with a fleece these are really good to put onto the bed just stops any done and keeps the cold and going into your actual mattress itself obviously we've got a couple toys a football the Jumbo tennis set and then we've just got a few that would be GI to Newbern which is paid to go on the beach nearby and a camping chair for Brody you've got the CAD AK and the gas bottle which we're taking this time sometimes we just take the little little disposable BBQ and they're still wedged behind here but these are our regatta camping chairs we've also got the grown she or the 10-foot print us as it's called we've got a little mini table and then this one opens up and is the bigger sort of kitchen table I'll show you that one we set up and then this is the crate we take and this is really good because I see this folds down but we normally just leave it off and keeping things like bottle opener and a bottle opener I cannot no knives forks things like that we had on the day what is water container which I just fill up on-site and half the outside of the tent just so we can rinse our hands or obviously fill the dog's bowl up and things this bad boy is the best camping hack ever this is the dish Matic refillable like a sponge scourer so you put your favourite liquid in this handle and obviously then that she's sponge eating so you don't have to take a separate sponge and very liquid bottle because obviously space is precious when you campaign because you take that much stuff this is Doc's bowl a few LED lights mmm might need a bit of this VIP poo absolutely hate going into camping toilets and it smells of other people's waste so I like to spray a little bit of that and it makes it a little bit pleasant more pleasant experience when going into the toilet block so yeah it also take a few microfiber cloths because these are just for wiping down with any conversation on the tent obviously on the day we've got caught this is the bowl we take to the sink area so we tend to wash our plates in this rather than in the metal sinks just because you don't know what people have washed in there and obviously I'd rather know that this is clean and not been clean the sink when I get there and we've got tea bags in here and obviously bowls and some tea towels which you know and yes how much so like catch any items and they just stay in that we've got the cool box which we pack just before we go and then we connect that to the car and then that those on the mains don't get there so then this is the camper CAHSEE toilets we just bought this because we were just using a little pipi bucket for a little wheeze in the night with Brody and we've got the kettle toaster this was from all day and then that you're a hike camping mountain which is far outside and then we've got the sleeping bags and this one's ruies which is the part we used to have these but we've just actually upgraded and got two slightly better ones but I'll talk more about them actually when your own site and then obviously we've got the carpet and the tent carpet even and this has got the ground pegs in and hammer mallet and things like that then we've got a cool back which has got a matching picnic blanket in there so if we go out tomorrow to the beach we can just put our things in there and then we thought the burgers very tense and the porch and pillows which keep the locators on so yes we're going to pack this into the car ready to go I want to forgot to say we actually take this microfiber mop which is really handy doesn't actually take much space up in our van because we can lie it lengthways so on the day we leave opposite the ground sheet of the tent and get like muddy bits on or can be done depending on the weather so we found that obviously so going in hands and knees with a cloth to sort of dry that before packing it away you just use this and then this comes off and we just put in the wash when we come home and it's really really good for just drying that making sure you're not putting anything damp away and it saves you well taking it out again and obviously drying it when you get home so we just try and do be prepared on site so we're having to more work when we get home so yeah get one of these bad boys going on Captain yes don't be holiday [Music] [Music] so we've just arrived and we're gonna now set the tent up [Music] once each beam is inflated drawing hat here which obviously job stops anyone pushing the box uh turn to deflate the tree and just sit [Music] you you [Music] I'm just gonna go and show you guys the inside of layout each door has a mesh fly panel which is fully visible and there is one on this side so coming into the tent we have the living area and at the end you've got your sleeping pods so one part at either end of the tent which sleeps 2 to 3 adults we can get two inflatable sorry three inflatable sleeping bags in nope we hang at 3 inflatable air beds in one part so potentially you can sleep 6 it's so officer this is the birdhouse air 6 and it does actually fit six that's three in each and pot and you have got little storage areas so like these pockets which are really handy to put things in and obviously the storage pockets down each of the sleeping pods so as you can see here in the storage area we've got cam gel Robinson's juice the VIP poo oh yeah don't leave home without that if you're a camper so yeah so there are the storage areas and you've also got the storage areas on this side as well so in our living area we just have a cool box which is plugged into the mains now the mains cable in here runs through and up along and middle beam and it's velcroed obviously so it's out of the way it's not on the floor which is great and then there's a special is it which deficit the electric cable goes out from see I've got to have a door open or half opened for that for the windows you have a panel here which just drops down with toggles that is half way and obviously they can drop it again so you can have full panels on this window same again on that window and obviously can have these two doors on mesh which lets in a lot you know a lot of light so that's perfect so yeah and here this is a vent so obviously that is an outside flap and you can just velcro them on to an open position so this one here you can see is done and let's just let some extra air in the tent which obviously is great because it's circulating this is the camping table what you think is an out well camping table which we've had for years now which we just love this so obviously the legs collapse so office it's all flat pack it bowls and this canvas thing stays on it just folds into itself and then it clips together and you can just carry it so you've got storage area under here and we just stop a stick up there are new kinds of goodies and stuff in their cereal and these can roll up as well and you can just velcro them there and then this one again just some bowls and cheeky pot noodles and then under they obviously got extra storage space to restore the crate there and the bowl on top of the kitchen area table we have the kettle and toaster and they were just from Aldi this is a little cookie thing which was just from pound land which is great because it was just easier just put your cookie there it's also hand I'm a little camping cups water a cup of tea and then I've just put in tea bags like a show before just in this little pot this keeps them out of the way my tea towel and then we've got the cool box here which we just have the state of the bears wine milk and butter in this corner here we've got the UM camper Cathy Porter portable toilet I believe it's called so this is new we've not tried this out before so normally would just have a little pipi bucket what we've actually upgraded to it and this can all fold it down into its own pocket out of the way so you can have it all open range and this one this big bag size it's called the beast so this is probably the biggest kind of sleeping bag you can get so he is trying this out tonight for the first time we had the normal adult pods but we found they were quite restrictive and the fabric moved when you moved whereas this fabric inner fabric is also in so when you move it shouldn't move so I'll let you know how that goes and then I again icon for and a standard inflatable flocked but without the built-in pillow I like it quite flat Silex was raised so this air beds got on it and a built-in inflatable pillow so yes and I've got the sleeping pad by silent night and this is really really soft grey so you can put on again this inner fabric is a little stitched down in sections so it shouldn't twist it and there you can see the back window vent which we leave open just like the air circulate in each sleeping pod you get a hook for a light so we've just got these little camping lights from millets I think it was really really bright but they really lights up the room ok and then again in this sleeping Park so this is Brody's bedroom again we can do the same thing so this is Brody sleeping pod and obviously in here he's got his inflatable mattress which is the an extra large deluxe flocked mattress from millets and he's got that he's got an adult's sleeping pod which is perfect size for him so he's quite a turn nine-year-old and as he's got plenty of room in this I'm and obviously we would have space for another or two more inflatable mattresses but it's just Brody tonight cuz George doesn't like camping as you know and obviously we've got this brilliant this bag was amazing so this was from go outdoors and they price matched it because we found it on the internet like really cheap so I think this retails like 100 pound what we got it's about $49.99 and it's wheel wheel a ball with a pull handle so it's so good for camping and it's officer so good for going away for weekends so we love this bag yeah and Brody's iPad and again you've got the same kind of light in this room for Brody a little deewan and his room post event as well so yeah so as you can see that's the living area and that's one sleeping part and this is the tent carpet tent which push them go outdoors this is what really fleecy and it just feels warm underneath your feet so we've camp like this when it's been quite cool and it always feels cozy warm so hey find a friend so on each bedroom pod door you have the option to you heart you know to put this section down to obviously give you some more ventilation this part sit down and it's an obviously you can still see out a bit but you also get your privacy so you get some airflow and this is mesh so obviously no critters can fly on and you can obviously just go up and have half ventilation or no ventilation at all so it's really good so we find that just keeping that then open maybe half way on each side of the pod on each door and a back fence we leave open and the side vents outside it just even cold weather it just circulates it stops that cold air come in status satellite and so yeah keep events open people [Music] yeah so I hope you like this layout it's a really really good term we use it obviously as often as we can and it's just brilliant and obviously the beams on this are so strong and it just doesn't move in the wind it hardly moves you don't get those you know you're not worried about poles bending or snapping it's just so strong places see him in the face supernatural [Music] daddy [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh [Music] [Music] though we're on the campsite at the moment it's one orphan farm I think you can ounce it and it's in our galley in Wales it's absolutely beautiful we stay here two three times a year maybe a bit more and obviously on site there is a little farm and this horses there was a castle nearby at which you can walk to which is just gorgeous and obviously the campsite itself it's got a toilet block which is really really clean and beautiful little campsite it's not never noisy or rowdy so that's why we love it anything literally an hour away from where we live so it's really handy yes so button end and each G recorded great and then you can use the pump to sort out any excess air that's in the tubes before rolling that up [Music] you
