[Music] so here's our video of our first few days in our new birkhouse air 6 xl10 we took it to centos if near walton on the nays to give it a trial for a week here's some of the things i noticed and also some of the gear that we take with us when we go camping i hope this helps enjoy so the berghaus air 6xl is a large comfortable inflatable tent it has a porch area and gives you plenty of storage for all of your belongings two side doors one with a porch awning which is inflatable as well this is the smaller of one of the air beams this one holds open the rain brown on the porch as you can see it's hidden inside this zipped area easy to replace if you damage one and easily inflated using this valve just here access to inflate the main beams comes through a zip on the side of the tent for each beam and you inflate with the pump in this valve here really easy the whole tent goes up in a matter of about 15 minutes and here you can see the beams inflated they're very strong and do a really good job against the wind all the door panels and windows have removable covers so you can have privacy when you want it and light when you want that as well nice and bright very airy good old british weather it's raining so i thought i'd just quickly show you these uh side panel windows which are really easy to use you just kind of undo these toggles in the corner and pop them down you can fold them halfway or you can undo the middle ones we fold them all the way down and have your windows open and i'll show you every windows open all the way down add an additional windbreak outside and you get a lot more privacy and the large sleeping area means you can have one large two medium or three slightly smaller sleeping areas big enough for most families and these stay inside when you fold up the tent there are also two vents above the main windows to allow fresh air across the tent during the day and aid ventilation even in strong winds these are 45 mile an hour gusts you can see the tent really does do a good job and on those rainy days when you just want to hunker down play some games or enjoy a few drinks you can see there's plenty of space for adults and all the gear inside the tent to sit very comfortably without feeling crowded let's take a look at some of the gear that we take with us camping stove is a bit dirty because we've been cooking on it this morning um so and i haven't really got time to clean it because it's raining and i don't want to go down and do it in a minute but this little camping gas stove had it now for a few years it's really really good you can we we cook with big pots on here two big pots either side and we make loads of different meals bologneses stroganoffs stews all that sort of stuff and it copes with it really really well and it's just connected then obviously make a bit of hose to a regulator and we've got here a gas bottle um there's different types of gases you can use depending on where you're going and i won't go into that because there's plenty of videos that do but there's a link in the description to one that explains it explains it for you this is our foldable kitchenette you can store food plates bowls cutlery in here and also works really well for putting your camping gas stove on top really handy for cooking and you can move it around easily and if you like a bit of toast in the morning this french toast on the right hand side here is a really good invention very easy and quick knives and forks come in this really handy set from b m seven quid these are metal uh i've got a nice rounded handles which we like you've got spoons large and small nice and forked 24 piece set seven quid goes in this little plastic container straight in one of our boxes is fantastic the coleman extreme isn't cheap there's no doubt about it um i did actually want the um 100 quart size bigger one but at the time we bought it no one had any available and this keeps ice cold for days the idea is you just keep it as full up as possible and you open the lid as few times as possible um and we've got ice in there and that ice has been in there now for three days it's still solid and it works really well that's common the handy thing about the coleman extremes this little tap at the bottom here which you can undo to let water out so you don't have to take all the contents of your call box out to empty just pull that plug out tip it slightly to its side and it will drain that's on the extreme really really good cool box of these i recommend it you know they are as i say they're not the cheapest but they're definitely in my opinion one of the best and you don't need any 12 volt for this one no gas you just put ice in it and it stays cold up to five days and for beers and other cold drinks we have this smaller carbon that we use to open during the day to prevent the other one from getting too warm little collapsible bin that we got here puts a standard black bin bag in there and this all collapses down unfortunately it doesn't come with a carrying bag which is a bit naff so that was a bit annoying but we just put it in an empty bin bag storage boxes are really handy to have especially in wet british weather you can keep stuff dry in there you can store shoes and coats and bits of clothing as well if you need to this van goes set folds up and is really handy to sit and have your breakfast and meals at [Music] you're going to want somewhere to sit so make sure you get some decent chairs spend as much as you can and get something comfortable you're going to use it a lot we have a big 20 litre container for water for cooking and for washing hands and then we have a collapsible container that we change daily for drinking water for nighttime lighting we have these rechargeable led lanterns that double as torches and power banks and i run a cable down the side of the tent and plug it into a power bank or a battery to help it keep going overnight we also have led lighting out the front which is powered by solar energy and works perfectly to make sure you can see those guidelines take a bucket with you they're really really useful you can wash up in it you can carry recycling and rubbish you can wash your feet in it wash your hands wash your face all sorts of things this will come in useful for so make sure you take a bucket even if it's just to clean down the tent before you go home i hope you found this introductory video useful please like and subscribe to the channel it's going to help me grow it we're going to have loads of videos coming up of us on our camping holidays thanks for taking the time to watch cheers
